Alexa's palm were stick with blood- her blood she could see it faintly, she squatted beside a cracked rock, her legs shaky and scared
"God.....what is this place" she muttered, barely hearing herself over the gunshots and screaming.
Bodies everywhere. Unmoving and still.
Her vision blurred red, red light liquid sliding slowly across her lashes, she wiped it off, her hands shaking, and then- she saw him
A man. Or something like that
Tall. Calm. Dangerous, covered in aura one resembling that of a devil. His eyes burned red glowing like coals in the dark. Around him a dark fog pulsed alive. His smile? Sick, like he enjoyed every scream echoing
He moved through the chaos like it was nothing. Gunfire didn't touch him. Blood painted on his boots
Alexa ducked behind the rock, shaking" this can't be real....it can't be real" she clutched her chest, breathing too fast
" Wake up.... Wake up"
But it wasn't a dream
The man raised a hand some kind of power- dark, cold, thick like smoke rushed from his palm. The bodies on the ground jerked then froze like puppets with their strings cut
He titled his head, smiling at the silence
That when she moved, just a little just enough
His eyes snapped to her. He saw her
" Shit-" she whispered, sliding lower but he was already walking towards her. Slow but sure. Like he had all the time in the world.
Alexa curled in whispering " no, no, no, no..... Please don't kill me"
He laughed low. Like thunder right before a storm
Then her crouched his hand, wet with blood, lifted her chin
His voice was deep, calm and way too amused
" You're not dead yet sweetheart but keep shaking like that and I just might change my mind"
Without another word, he hoisted her up on his shoulders like she weighed nothing
She screamed, kicked punched trying everything but he didn't even blink just kept walking through that bloody mess like it was nothing
Her breath hitched, body going limp
Then everything went blank

Alexa eyes snapped open. White walls. Big bed the smell of soap. The scent of cologne hit her nose. Water running near by
She sat up slow, heart pounding
The bathroom door creaked
A guy stepped out- wet hair, towel low on his hip, chest bare and wet
Alexa shut her eyes, playing to be asleep
He grinned " Quit pretending. You're not asleep. Except you want to watch me....get dressed"
Her heart hammered louder. She kept still
He laughed " why is your hear racing if you are asleep?"
She didn't say a word just squeezed her eyes shut tighter.
He smirked and stepped closer. Slowly he dropped the towel.
Alexa gasped then cursed under her breath
- boxer shorts. She opened her eyes, cheeks burning.
Alexa heart skipped " who the hell are you?"
Without hesitating he said " Levi"
She repeated softly " Levi... I've heard that name before"
He turned to the wardrobe " I'm keeping you"
He said it like it was a fact and there was no room for arguing
Alexa heart jumped "what....what do you mean" her voice shook but she tried to sound steady
He grabbed some dark clothes and tossed it it on the bed" you are not going anywhere. Not yet"
She tried to push herself up but her body felt heavy" please... let me go"
He didn't even flinch" No"
Silence filled the room except from the soft thud of the cloth
Levi stepped closer, eyes cold as ice" you will learn to obey. Or things get ugly"
She swallowed hard" who...who are you?
His grin was crooked, half- smile, half- threat
" The devil you may not want to meet"
Levi tossed the cloth aside and out on a dark silky robe. It slipped over his broad shoulders like it was made for him. He walked over to the bed, eyes never leaving hers
He said down on the edge finger tapping the sheets. Then he looked up, a smirk playing in his lips
" Tell me", he said low" Do you like lullabies?"
Alexa blinked confused" lullabies?"
He chuckled softly, the sound deep and a little rough " Yeah songs that out you to sleep. Maybe.... I'll sing you one".
She didn't know whether to feel scared or curious. Her throat tightened but she didn't say a word.
Levi's grin grew wider like he enjoyed the game already.
Without another he reached out and pressed two fingers against her forehead a slow smirk spread across his face as dark energy revolve around his palm
She falls into deep sleep
" Perfect" he said before her world go blank
