Synopsis
Kurogane Kazuha was just a 21-year-old college student in Tokyo, until a blinding light and a voice from the void transported him into the chaotic seas of the One Piece world. Reborn in the body of a nineteen-year-old with nothing but a katana, a ruthless moral compass, and a godlike system bound to his soul, Kazuha becomes an anomaly in a world of pirates and marines. But this is not the One Piece world he once knew. Monkey D. Luffy, once the symbol of freedom and hope, has turned into something far darker. Gripped by fury over the death of his brother, Portgas D. Ace, Luffy has forsaken his dream of Pirate King. What remains is a man driven by vengeance, a force powerful enough to challenge the world itself. NOTE!!!! The main character begins as cold and a bit edgy, but gradually grows more open and emotionally grounded as the story unfolds. *Book cover not mine

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigration, A World on Fire

The last thing Kurogane Kazuha remembered was the sound of screeching tires and blinding headlights.

One second, he was crossing the street with a cup of convenience store coffee in hand. The next—nothing. No pain. No fading. Just silence. Then, the void spoke.

"System initializing... User compatibility confirmed."

"Welcome to the One Piece World."

"You have been chosen. Judgment awaits."

When the light returned, it wasn't a hospital room. Nor a void. It was flame.

Buildings burned in the distance—smoke rising into the dark sky as cannon fire cracked through the air like the voice of a furious god. The scent of salt and scorched timber filled his lungs as he stumbled to his feet, ash settling in his dark hair.

His body felt leaner, younger—more agile, and lighter. He looked down. He was wearing a black yukata torn at the sleeves, the cloth unfamiliar yet comfortable. A long, sheathed katana was strapped to his back.

He touched his face. It was his, but... not the same. The mirror of water beside him showed a nineteen-year-old version of himself. Cold, sharp eyes. Emotionless. A stranger.

Then, the system's voice returned, monotone but firm:

"Kurogane Kazuha: Judgment Entity Initialized."

"Objective: Prevent World Collapse initiated by Monkey D. Luffy."

"Your current location: Loguetown. East Blue."

Kazuha's eyes narrowed.

"What the hell...?"

Loguetown – 15 Minutes Earlier

A pirate's head exploded in a mist of red.

The crowd screamed. A man dressed in a blood-soaked marine coat dropped the smoking pistol and stared hollowly at the body twitching at his feet.

Chaos followed—civilians trampled one another to flee, pirates unsheathed weapons, and marines panicked as black flags unfurled across rooftops. An ambush.

Loguetown was burning, and Kazuha had dropped into the middle of it.

He moved without thought. A reflex that felt ingrained in his bones. One moment he was observing, and the next, his hand grasped the katana at his back.

The blade whispered when drawn—cold steel, heavier than it looked, humming with a quiet wrath.

A pirate charged at him, a massive broadsword over his shoulder, mouth foaming with bloodlust.

"You lost, boy?!"

Kazuha didn't speak.

His body moved.

Flashstep.

One step. One slice.

The pirate's upper body slid off the lower half before he realized he'd been struck.

The surrounding pirates screamed, some rushing forward, others backing away. Kazuha stood still, sword dripping red, his eyes empty.

"System Sync: 1%."

"Combat Memory Implants Unlocked."

"Technique Accessed: Flash Step [Bleach - Beginner Tier]."

"So this is real," Kazuha thought, his breath slow and measured. "This isn't a dream. This is war."

He turned toward the chaos, and walked straight into it.

Five Minutes Later – Central Plaza

Bodies littered the square—pirates, marines, civilians alike.

The corrupt Captain Leeko, who had triggered the massacre by executing a pirate without trial, stood atop a collapsed tower, barking orders to his terrified soldiers.

"You think this is about justice?! We control this town! Execute anyone who looks like a threat!"

It was enough to make Kazuha's knuckles whiten.

"Side Quest Initiated: Judgment of Corrupt Authority."

"Defeat Marine Captain Leeko – Reward: System Synchronization +4%, First Shikai Unlock."

Kazuha looked at his katana.

So, this is how it works. Every choice fed into the system. Every judgment became a path.

He vanished.

Leeko didn't even get to scream.

The captain's body hit the cobbled stone below the tower with a disgusting crunch. A pool of blood spread around him like a halo of accusation.

The plaza went silent. Then, someone spoke—

"That guy... took out Captain Leeko with one strike!"

"Who is he?! A pirate?"

"No, his coat's not Navy…"

"Then what is he?"

Kazuha turned his head. Dozens of eyes watched him. Children. Men. Women. Soldiers. Murderers.

He sheathed his sword slowly.

"I am judgment," he said coldly, then walked away.

Back Alley – After the Battle

He sat on the edge of a water barrel, blade leaning against the wall beside him. The ash still fell. The sky above remained choked by smoke and gunpowder.

His breathing was even. His heart was not.

He stared at the blood on his gloves, unblinking.

"System Sync: 6%."

"Emotion Stabilization Protocol: Disabled by User."

He didn't want the system dulling his humanity. Not yet.

"New Skill Tree Available: Haki – Observation Initiated."

"Progression Unlocked: Zanpakutō - Zangetsu (Sealed)."

Then came the final notification.

"Major Quest: Prevent World Collapse Caused by Monkey D. Luffy."

"Projected Threat Timeline: 4 Years. Status: Unknown."

Kazuha clenched his jaw.

He knew that name. Everyone on Earth did.

Monkey D. Luffy. The Straw Hat who was supposed to save the world. The symbol of freedom.

"What the hell happened to this story?"

Elsewhere… Aboard a Ghost Ship

A Den Den Mushi clicked on.

"Loguetown failed. He's already moved."

The voice on the other end chuckled.

"It doesn't matter. Let him grow stronger."

"But—"

"Let him judge. Let him believe in justice. Because in the end, justice always breaks. And when it does..."

"We'll see if he can kill a god."

Back in Loguetown – Final Scene

As the fires began to die out, a young girl stepped from the rubble—bloodied, holding her younger brother's hand.

She looked at Kazuha. She didn't cry. She just bowed, deeply.

"Thank you... for killing him."

Kazuha didn't respond. He only nodded once.

But something cracked behind his cold eyes.

Something small.

Something human.
