I've should known it's gonna to rain today, but i forgoted. My umbrella is at home and everyone has gone, so i'm the only person alive in this school.
That is what i've thought...Matheus Rezende is here too. Why? I don't know, he is a mystery that i don't have any interest. I have only one friend, her name is Samara. She is so cool, sometimes i get jealous of her freedom but anyways...i am alone in this place and it is rainy as fuck outside.
Everyone thinks that i have a perfect life, honestly? I wish this too. My dad doesn't care about my life and my mom is a little bit narcissist. When i come back home is the worst part of my day, i prefer to stay at the school or at a coffee shop. The most people think that i am super smart, but the truth is that i repeat the text a million times in my head. My mind talks a lot with me, so i need something to focus on and make my mind be quiet for a little. I know, i always wear white clothes and my hair is always ready for a prom. I look so...perfect. Sometimes i even hate how i looks. I just need to hold on until the graduation, i will be free soon.
"You are okay?" A hoarse voice says.
He talks slowly, why he sounds always like a sleepy dog?
"Yes, i am...and...you?" I respond a little bit ashamed.
Matheus nods, still serious, shrugs and walks away. My eyes followed his movements with a certain surprise, Why is he talking to me?
We live in a small, rural town in Rio de Janeiro. It's common for everyone to talk to each other around here but Matheus is known precisely for never talking to anyone, so I'm surprised. Even more so with his words so... Kind? Matheus has no friends, he lives quietly and reading a book in an isolated corner of the school. He dresses well, has a sense of style, to the surprise of many. His parents are separated, I heard that his father moved to Italy with a new woman. He is not a poor thing, because many people tried to get close to him for his beauty, but he never gave a break and always distanced himself from people. I've seen several girls cry in love with him but he never cared.
To be honest, I don't care about the gossip I hear at this school. I'm just trying to live quietly without attracting too much attention, although it doesn't work very well.
