Chapter 3 - The Test of hiding your abilities.

After reaching the third floor, Ragna and Cinister began farming experience and armor from enemy drops. This floor was slightly larger than the previous two, but the enemies and the boss posed little challenge. The floor boss was a wolf, weak to Ignivar, which Cinister quickly destroyed.

Moving on to the fourth floor, they encountered a fish-like boss vulnerable to Voltbound, which was Ragna's specialty, making it another swift victory.

Final Stats:

Cinister -ATK: +1/DEF: +3/SPEED: +0/MAGIC: +1/INT: +1

Ragna-ATK: +2/DEF: +2/SPEED: +1/SWORDSMANSHIP: +0/INT: +1

"Finally, we made it," Ragna exclaimed, collapsing onto the floor with a groan.

"Get up. We still need to get to the test," Cinister scolded, arms crossed.

"Fine," Ragna muttered, rolling his eyes as he pushed himself back up.

At the same time two familiar faces enter The Tower with a mystrerious 3rd teammate. Scrappy and Choi-Woo. As they clear the 1st floor with ease their 3rd teammate Allen seemed to excude a menacing aura.

They arrived at the test room — a large hall filled with rows of desks and strong-looking students, each radiating intensity. The atmosphere was thick with tension, almost menacing.

A teacher walked in, their expression unreadable, and said firmly, "Take your seats."

Ragna and Cinister quickly sat down beside each other, straightening up as they focused on the front of the room.

A tall man with sharp features and a commanding presence stepped forward. "Hello. I'm Jarvis, your test instructor," he said, his voice echoing through the tense room. "You'll be taking your first exam in just a few minutes."

He paused, letting his eyes scan the room.

"But before that… make some friends. You may need them to pass one of the tests."

A murmur rippled through the room. Ragna glanced at Cinister, who narrowed his eyes slightly, already analyzing the students around them.

As the room buzzed with cautious conversations, Ragna and Cinister made their way over to a girl sitting alone near the back.

Cinister leaned slightly forward, his tone calm but straightforward. "Hey, do you have a team?"

The girl looked up, her eyes sharp but curious. "No, I don't."

Cinister gave a small nod. "Want to be in one?"

She studied him for a moment, then gave a slight smile. "Sure. I'm Alya. and also I'm a SwiftGale/Assassin"

better synergy—and better chances of success.

"For now, we should wait until they tell us to get more teammates," Cinister said, keeping his voice low but focused.

Just then, the classroom door opened again. Instructor Jarvis stepped in, his presence immediately silencing the room.

"Follow me," he said curtly. "It's time for the first test."

Chairs scraped back and footsteps echoed as students rose, the energy in the room shifting from tension to anticipation.

In the room there are a couple of flags and the Teacher's voice quickly was heard "You will pick a flag and one of your teammates will hide on with the flag on their head indicating that their the hider this floor while the other two will have to find the other hiders"

"Of course the hider isn't able to move but you may ask how will they get food well you might have noticed that this floor is the size of a island and in the middle on it is a cabbin where you can get food that means that the seekers of that team will have to get the food"

"But that doesn't seem fair to the hider," the voice said, calm yet laced with curiosity.

"The hider might not want to continue the challenge."

A brief pause followed—then Instructor Jarvis responded, his tone firm but slightly amused.

"You're correct. That's why we have a Give Up button."

Whispers broke out among the students. Ragna leaned toward Ayla. "Did they just say hider?"

Cinister narrowed his eyes. "Looks like this test isn't going to be as simple as we thought."

"You'll be in teams of 3 and no fighting the other team or you'll be disqualified. To win this game you need to fins the other hiders or wait until they push their Give up button. Now go hide" Jarvis quickly disappears.

The other 3 teams quickly go off.

"Okay, let's go!" Ragna said, hurrying ahead with barely-contained energy.

Ayla followed at a calmer pace, glancing at the others. "So… I can be the one who hides," she offered thoughtfully.

Cinister nodded as they walked. "Makes sense. You seem agile—and calm under pressure."

We hide Alya in a tree and we go in the middle were we find two people of the same team standing there.

"So, hi gentlemen. How are you?" Cinister asked with a slight grin.

The boy with glasses gave him a cold look. "I have no reason to talk to you."

"Come on," said the other boy, more relaxed. "We can communicate with the enemies, can't we?"

Cinister raised an eyebrow, still keeping his tone light. "Can we at least get the names?"

The two exchanged a glance before responding.

"Michael," said the boy with glasses."George," added the friend.

Then the other two teams of 2 came here

[The Teams]

Blue - Cinister, Ragna andAlya.

Red - Micheal, George, Brayden .

Green - Yuki, Shizuki, Masha.

Yellow - Noah, Oliver, James.

Day 1Everyone was relaxing in the cabin—eating, chatting, and getting to know their temporary allies and potential rivals. The atmosphere was calm, almost too calm, like the quiet before a storm.

Day 2Things stayed mostly the same—until Yellow Team made a move. They tried to sneak food out to their hidden teammate, but their plan didn't go unnoticed. The Green Team caught on quickly and began tailing them through the woods. A quiet pursuit followed, tense and calculated, until Yellow was forced to retreat and return to the cabin empty-handed.

Cinister moved fast, grabbing a bag of food with practiced precision. Ragna did the same, and the two bolted from the cabin in opposite directions. The opposing teams didn't hesitate—they gave chase, splitting up to follow them both.

But Cinister had an edge: Jet Burst. With a sudden surge of speed, he vanished into the trees, slipping past pursuit with ease.

Ragna, on the other hand, was quickly cornered. Surrounded, he dropped his bag without resistance.

It was empty.

The rival teams stood there, stunned.

"It was a decoy," Ragna said with a smirk.

Meanwhile, somewhere deeper in the woods, Cinister quietly handed the real food supply to Ayla.

"You hiding well Alya" Cinister said

"Well of course thanks for the food btw" Alya exclaimed

Cinister quickly left for the cabbin and the other teams were now weary of his abilities.

"I know your hiders location" Micheal said calmly
