Raya's pov:
I got up early in the morning and told my mum I was going to Mimi's house ps my best friend's name is mimi. When I got there, I told her that I was going to Oakworth which is the vampire's kingdom and that she should cover for me. After talking with Mimi for a while, I went to Oakworth. I stayed there for about an hour or so then I decided to go and visit Finnick. I walked out of the forest, passed through the town and went to the Palace gates. Two guards were there, they were diff from the ones I saw yesterday. So I walked up to them and said I would like to see Fin- the king, I want to see your king. But the first guard said "sorry you can't." What do you mean I can't? I asked. The second guard said rather rudely "You can't see the king because he doesn't associate himself with people like you." That statement got me angry but I decided to play it cool and wait for Lex or any gaurd I know to come out. I sat at the flower bed and waited for more than thirty minutes, thats when I saw Finnick strolling outside I got up and shouted Finnick!! Everywhere we became silent as if I had done something wrong. After a few seconds he turned to faced me and said "Raya , what are you doing outside?" You told me I could come over but you didn't inform your guard about it. I've been here for almost an hour. I complained. He chuckled and said "okay, I'm sorry."
Third person pov:
Immediately Raya shouted Finnick's name everywhere became silent and the guards began to pity her, the first guard whispered "such a young and pretty girl, she's definitely done for." The other gaurd agreed saying "if we had known we would have sent her away in oder to save her life" they were sorry for her because not only did she have the audacity to shout the king's name but she was also bold enough to scold him, they knew she would be punished for sure but, to the surprise the king apologised and asked "how can i make it up to you" he continued and said "come have lunch with me or infact, lets go to the forest together, I can teach you how to hunt hmm?" Raya's eyes lit up in excitement and she said "okay!"
Finnick's pov:
This girl is really something else, she is one of the most stubborn people I know. Even though I said I would teach her how to hunt she refused my help when she clearly knows nothing about hunting *sigh*
Right now she is holding a bow and an arrow aiming towards a rabbit. She had missed all the other targets so I decided she should start with something small. With a sigh I walked up to her and said your stance is still wrong then I held her waist and said tuck in your stomach, twist your upper body slightly and spread your legs apart a little. But, I knew half of what I said was lost due to the feel of my hands on her waist so I leaned into her ear and whispered did you hear me? She became flust and nodded frantically saying "yes". I then removed one of my hands from her waist and used it to position her arrow saying shoot and just like that, she got the rabbit. She was so happy she squealed and jumped up to hug me and exclaimed "I got it". "Thank you, thank you, thank you" I smile something new for me and said its okay. Um would you like to have a sorta picnic with me? "Yes of course but, we didn't bring anything" she replied leave that to me I said and with a clap of my hand a whistle bats flew towards us carrying everything needed for a picnic. Raya seemed a bit shocked and asked "how did you do that?" one of my many abilities, I can control them I answered making her smile, she is so beautiful and I wanted to tell her that and that she was my mate but I decided to take it slow.
Raya's pov:
I can't hide it anymore I have to tell him, I have to tell him about my feelings for him. Finnick, I want to tell you something I said and he said "yeah, go ahead" here I go I want to tell you that I have this strange sense of comfort around you where I feel like I can tell you all my secrets and even though we've only known each other for two days, I really really like you. "Wow, really? Bu what about finding your mate?" he asked. I don't care I just want to express my feelings I don't expect you to reciprocate them, I can find my mate on the day of the rose. I answered and he said "well I have something to tell you too. Raya you are my mate and I don't just like you, I love you." Oh my gosh!! I screamed before it was silenced by his cold lips on mine it was amazing but I couldn't respond cause I didn't know how to kiss. "Whats the matter, whats wrong?" he asked kind of worried no..nothing its, its just that I that was my first kiss. I stuttered while blushing and he smiled. We were both quiet until I decided to break the silence by saying Um,Finnick are the rumours true about you being part demon?" "Well yes it's true" he answered and then asked "would you like to see" and I nodded immediately he closed his eyes and horns grew on his head and he grew big black wings, when he opened his eyes his pupils had turned to slits and his fangs became three on each side instead of the usual one and they were more pointy. He looked darkly handsome, so handsome making me blurt out you are so handsome and I leaned in to peck his lips but he grabbed me and kissed me passionately and with dominance. This relationship is dangerous and kind of forbidden, a vampire have never been mated to a fairy but I don't care I am in love with him.
