Chapter 46 - Chapter 44: The Hand Behind the Knife

Silas pulled the trigger. But who built the gun?

Geneva — Resistance Archive Bunker

Taye places a classified folder in front of Naomi.

Stamped with an old Cold War insignia:

"Project Choirseed: Orphan Trials — 1999"

> "Buried in old Soviet black projects," Taye says.

"But leaked through Hollow sympathizers who thought it was sacred text."

Naomi opens the folder.

Inside:

Photos of children, caged and blindfolded.

Medical records.

Psychological profiles.

And a single name stamped across the top page:

CREED, S. – Subject 9.

Page 3 — A Memo Excerpt

> "Subject 9 displays violent pattern recognition.

Early sociopathy indicators confirmed. Recommend environmental stressors be increased to trigger self-weaponization."

> "Potential for controlled chaos manipulation.

Not suitable for direct deployment, but ideal for long-term destabilization if cultivated correctly."

Naomi's hand tightens.

> "They didn't just break him," she murmurs.

"They were growing him."

7:00 A.M.

Location: Paris Peace Summit — Day One

Over 50 world leaders meet to sign the Accord of Resistance Unity.

Naomi is en route.

Security is at maximum.

But as the flags rise—

A lone violinist begins to play.

A haunting, beautiful melody.

At first, unnoticed.

Until his final note ends with the words:

> "For the Hollow King."

BOOM.

A violin case detonates.

Glass, fire, screams.

Eighty-three leaders die.

Three governments collapse before nightfall.

The screen fades to black.

A single message appears:

> "FOUR."

---

8:00 A.M.

Naomi Arrives Too Late

Smoke still curling from the summit hall.

Cameras everywhere.

Global panic reignited.

Taye meets her at the edge of the wreckage.

> "No known escape route. He didn't survive."

> "Then it wasn't about him surviving," Naomi mutters.

"It was about showing the world we're never safe."

---

9:30 A.M.

Naomi Broadcasts an Emergency Message

> "To the nations of the world:

We are not fighting a terrorist.

We are fighting a designed collapse."

> "Silas Creed was not born to destroy us.

He was built to."

> "And somewhere in the shadows —

the ones who built him are still watching."

---

10:00 A.M.

The Hollow Broadcast Triggers

For the first time since Silas's escape, a corrupted signal is pushed globally.

The screen flickers.

Black background. Golden blood drips from the edges.

A distorted voice — hundreds layered into one.

The Choir sings:

> "They raised the child in silence.

So he taught the world to scream."

> "They built a god in flesh.

And now the cage is broken."

> "Three days remain."

The screen glitches.

A single line pulses across the globe:

> "JUDGMENT IS NOT COMING.

JUDGMENT IS ALREADY HERE."

---

Final Scene

Silas kneels in the dark.

Before him: ten Choir priests slicing golden lines into their own faces.

He dips his hands in their blood.

> "She knows now," he whispers.

"She knows they made me."

He lifts the blood to the wall.

Draws a handprint.

> "But she still doesn't know…

who they're building next."

---

Final Line:

> "The Choir made me," Silas says,

"but now I'm making gods of my own."
