Part 1
"Maybe I should go home now, I have a schedule to rush, I have to finish my book before June 10, or my readers will have to wait longer...."
Masashi rushed home, he takes a shortcuts on every alleyways he could find to make it quick and went home on his apartment. He arrived at the building, run upstairs, rushing to the 3rd floor.
"ROOM 10-aa", the number of his room.
As soon as he get his keys, his sight blurs, he suddenly felt dizzy, then without anything, he collapsed, he didn't even realize that he overworked.
"..."
The second he opened his eyes, he was greeted with a new surroundings, the places have changed, this world isn't familiar at all, it was a populated city maybe even a kingdom.
Masashi was left clueless.
He looked around left to right, his eyes still widened from earlier situation.
"Where am I?....." He asked, he's completely puzzled, ---- "but wait, there's only one thing!", he realized something.
----- "I've been transfer to another world!, but did I die?....Who bring me here?....."
Then he walked around a little, trying to get used to his new world and surroundings, he saw many humans and monsters living in the same society, carriages with passengers, a giant lizard was pulling it to move it around.
"Moooooovvvvveeeee!!!!!"
A voice of a woman screamed, she's running away rushing through every crowd like she doesn't see them, then once she's not looking, she bumped into masashi making them both fell on the ground, her white hair and beautiful marine blue dress was covered with dust.
???: --- "Outch! That hurt...." She said breathlessly, her eyes was closed.
Masashi: "Here, take me hand....", said masashi.
Masashi successfully get on his feet and give the woman a hand, she opened her eyes, she take masashi's hand and helped her get on her feet again.
Masashi: "Are you alright?,what's your name?...", masashi asked.
Clara: " I'm Clara, just Clara, nice to meet you....umm... ", she's a little nervous.
Masashi: " Masashi, I'm a.... I'm lost in this city and I'm homeless too.", he said casually.
Clara: "Do you wanna live somewhere?.. I have a place for you.....it's in my mansion!, it's okay if you can't take my offer...." She invited him to her mansion despite the fact that masashi is a complete stranger to her.
Masashi: Really?!, do you mean it? I mean yeah I can take the offer but....im a stranger...", he asked worried.
Clara: "i-its fine, I mean, you look...like a good person to me... And you need shelter so I asked you without hesitation, that's the right thing for me.", she said looking at masashi's eyes, scanning if he's still worried.
Masashi: " Thank you!, I appreciate it!...." He said with joy.
they walked together through the cobblestone streets, Masashi couldn't help but glance around, still amazed by the world around him. Lanterns floated mid-air, flickering with soft blue flames. Buildings were tall and built of pale stone, draped in hanging vines and banners of unfamiliar symbols. Children chased each other with toy swords, and beastfolk merchants shouted deals from wooden stalls.
Masashi, still in his casual brown shirt, black shorts, and worn-out rubber shoes, looked like a complete outsider. His messy brown hair blew slightly in the breeze, and every passing glance from the townsfolk reminded him he didn't belong here.
"So, this is a fantasy world... it's just like in my books," he thought.
Except now, he wasn't writing the story—he was inside it.
Next to him walked Clara, a striking figure that seemed to fit perfectly in this vibrant world. Her long white hair flowed behind her like silk, and her bright green eyes scanned the crowd with quiet awareness. She wore a flowing marine blue dress that swayed with each step, paired with elegant high sandals. She looked like someone of noble standing, and yet… she had offered him, a stranger, shelter without hesitation.
Clara kept stealing side glances at him. Her expression was kind but curious, as though still trying to piece together who Masashi really was.
Masashi broke the silence.
"You said... mansion?" he asked, raising a brow.
Clara smiled, her face lighting up.
"Yes! My family estate. It's a little outside the main plaza, near the edge of the city. Quiet, peaceful... and empty, mostly."
"Mostly?" he echoed.
She looked away for a moment.
"Well, I live alone now. My parents... they left the city years ago. It's just me and the house staff."
Masashi nodded, unsure how to respond. Something about her tone suggested not to press further.
After about fifteen minutes of walking, they passed through a set of tall gates guarded by two armored knights, who eyed Masashi suspiciously. Clara simply waved them off.
Soon, the mansion came into view.
It was a grand, ivy-covered estate with a marble fountain at the center of a flower-filled garden. A couple of birds fluttered out from a nearby tree as the front doors opened.
"This is it. Welcome to my home," Clara said cheerfully.
Masashi stood still, overwhelmed.
"This... this feels like I walked into a noble's house from a fantasy epic."
Clara giggled.
"Well, you're not wrong. Come inside, I'll have the maids prepare a room for you.
__
That night...
Masashi sat by the window of his new room, staring at the moon hanging over the city. The room was surprisingly cozy—a fireplace, wooden shelves, and a soft bed that smelled faintly of lavender.
He sighed, pulling out a pen and notebook from his jacket pocket.
"At least I brought these..."
He opened the notebook and stared at the blank page.
> Day 1 in this new world. I still don't know how I got here. But I met someone kind. Someone who didn't question me. I don't know if I can trust her yet... but for now, it's enough to feel human again.
He paused.
Then scribbled one last sentence:
> I'm gonna write my whole adventure starting from here!"
Part 2
The soft glow of the lamp flickered as Masashi
gently placed his pen back into the drawer. His journal lay open, half a page filled with thoughts he wasn't quite ready to share with the world yet.
"I should go to sleep now..." he murmured to himself, pushing his chair in and turning off the lamp with a quiet click.
The room fell into peaceful silence.
__
The Next Morning
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.
A muffled voice broke through the sleepy haze.
"Masashi! Wake up! It's Clara—we're late for breakfast!"
He groaned, rubbing his eyes. The sunlight filtered through the curtains, warm and golden.
Still disoriented, Masashi sat up and stretched. His body felt like it was still adjusting to this unfamiliar world. But the voice outside was persistent—and cheerful.
__
In the Kitchen
The smell of cooked rice and vegetables drifted in the air. Masashi sat down across from Clara at the long oak table. She was already halfway through her meal but paused to glance at him.
The quiet between them stretched a little too long.
"So, uhh…" Clara finally broke the silence, eyes slightly wide with curiosity. "Do you have your own magic abilities or something?"
Masashi blinked. "Why ask me that all of a sudden?"
She shrugged, pushing her bowl aside. "Well… if you have at least one magic ability, you'll stand a chance in this world. And that's the truth."
Masashi leaned forward slightly. "What do you mean by that?"
Clara sighed. She set her utensils down and rested her hands on the table. Her eyes grew serious.
"This kingdom… it's not like what you'd expect from fairy tales. Every night, when the sun goes down, people lock their doors and windows—not because they're afraid of thieves, but because of the Demons."
"Demons?" Masashi echoed.
Clara nodded slowly. "They come out after dark. Creatures born of rage, curses, and dark magic. They hunt humans. No warning. No mercy."
Masashi felt a cold knot form in his stomach. "But… don't people fight back? Isn't there some way to stop them?"
"If we could've… we would've, a long time ago," Clara said quietly. "This entire kingdom is cursed. Seven hundred years ago, a witch was blamed for tragedies she didn't cause. People feared her power. So one night, they set her home on fire."
Masashi stared at her. "So… the witch wasn't evil?"
"No. She was misunderstood," Clara said, her voice softening. "But in her final hours, she didn't scream or curse them aloud. Instead… she cast a spell so deep, it rewrote the very nature of our land."
Clara's hands trembled slightly as she spoke.
"She stripped away everyone's mana—the source of all magic. Then she summoned demons from across the world. And even after she died… her curse never faded."
Masashi sat there in silence, the spoon in his hand forgotten.
"That's… heartbreaking," he finally said. "Is that written anywhere? In books, maybe?"
Clara's expression lit up. "A book, huh? Actually… I know a place. Come on—I'll show you something special."
Later That Day – Rasiel Library Grounds
The old metal gates creaked open, revealing a stunning courtyard beyond. A white-stone fountain bubbled gently in the center. Cobblestone paths branched off into flower-lined walkways, with ivy climbing up the walls of the buildings around them.
Masashi's eyes widened.
"Where even are we? This place is beautiful!"
Clara smiled, proud. "Welcome to the Rasiel Library. My family owns this entire property, including the grounds."
Masashi turned in circles, trying to take in everything at once—the flowers, the sounds of birds, the way the sunlight caught the glass windows.
"It feels like something out of a dream…" he said softly.
Clara led him inside. The moment they stepped through the great wooden doors, Masashi's breath caught.
Bookshelves stretched all the way to the vaulted ceiling. Dozens of glowing lanterns floated midair, lighting every corner. There were ladders on rails, spiral staircases, and cushioned reading chairs nestled into cozy alcoves.
His jaw dropped.
"IS THIS HEAVEN!?"
Without waiting, he dashed down the nearest aisle. Minutes later, he returned with his arms completely full—at least a hundred books stacked haphazardly between his hands.
Clara stared. "You're serious? That many?"
Masashi grinned. "Every writer needs research. I want to learn everything."
She laughed, helping him carry some. "Just don't bury yourself in books, okay?"
In the Reading Hall
The afternoon sun filtered through stained glass windows, painting soft colors across the marble floor.
Masashi sat in one of the lounge chairs, completely absorbed. He flipped through ancient texts on magical theory, historical timelines, and bestiaries describing terrifying creatures of the night.
One book, though, caught his attention.
It was bound in dark, obsidian-black leather. There was no title. But inside, a single page shimmered faintly with strange ink.
> "Only those summoned from beyond the Veil may hold the key to rewriting the curse."
Masashi frowned, rereading the line.
"Rewriting… the curse?" he whispered. "Does that mean me?"
Before he could continue, Clara walked up beside him, holding a sealed envelope.
"Masashi," she said softly. "I just got this letter. You should read it."
She handed it to him. The seal was made of silver wax—embossed with a flame encircled by wings.
Masashi broke it open.
Dear Masashi,
You are hereby accepted to enroll as a student in Rasiel Academy, under the recommendation of Lady Clara Everwyn.
Due to your unique arrival and currently unmeasured magical aptitude, you have been placed in the Novice Division.
Orientation begins tomorrow morning.
We trust that Rasiel Academy will help you find your place in this world.
— Headmaster Albrecht Zeid
Masashi's hands trembled slightly.
"I'm… going to a magic academy?"
Clara nodded with a smile. "It's the best way to learn—and survive. Rasiel Academy is the heart of everything magical. It's where I studied too."
He stared at her. "You went there?"
"Yep. Now it's your turn."
__
That Night
Masashi sat at the small desk in his guest room. A single candle lit the space. The sky outside was dark, stars peeking out above the trees.
He opened the notebook Clara had given him and dipped the quill in ink.
Then he wrote, slowly and thoughtfully:
>Day 2 in this world
I've learned about the curse that haunts this land.
About demons, mana, and a history soaked in regret.
I met Clara—she's been so kind.
And today, I was accepted into Rasiel Academy.
I don't know what's ahead… but maybe this is where I belong.
If I ever return home… I want to turn this journey into the greatest story I've ever told.
He smiled faintly, then blew out the candle.
"Day 3," he whispered. "It starts at the Academy."
---
The moon cast a soft blue glow across the Rasiel library yard, bathing the world in an otherworldly stillness. Trees rustled gently, and the fountain trickled like a whisper in the silence.
High above, framed by the moonlight, a figure emerged—cloaked in shadows.
She floated in the sky, her long hair drifting like silk in the wind, and a dark cape trailing behind her like a veil of midnight. Though the details of her face were hidden, her form was unmistakably that of a woman—tall, composed, and watchful.
She raised a gloved hand toward the academy below, fingers slightly curled, as if sensing something… or someone.
"The time…" she murmured, her voice soft, distant, and filled with quiet power.
"…has come."
Then, as silently as she appeared, she faded into the clouds—consumed by the night once more.
Only the moon remained, glowing cold and bright.
And far below, Masashi slept soundly—unaware that the winds of fate had just begun to stir…
That his presence had been noticed.
Something ancient had opened its eyes.
And it would not close them again.
Part 3
At masashi's bedroom (Clara's house)
Masashi decided to stay at the mansion for 1 week Before actually sleeping at the school dorms again.
Masashi was finished dressing up on his new school uniform, a navy blue blue uniform and a black slacks and a brown leather shoes on his feet.He picked up his bag and leave the house early.
"I gotta read and study on their library before class starts, I should study about magic too, but even though it was useless because this whole kingdom was...Cursed-----Wait a second?", there's something masashi realized.
---
The Rasiel academy (library)
He quickly ran to the academy, the gates are already opened, he quickly went to the library, he looked up on shelf number 15-A and section 15-E, he grabbed a book.
Book: "the blue moon"
Inside the first page, there's a written scripture, it was written in English.
"If I was not in that witch incident before.. .. That means I'm not affected by that curse, and that means, there's a way to help this people to regain their mana and fight back against that cause!" masash said with a loud voice.
------ "But how this is written in English?, are their any other people like me that got transferred here?....", masashi didn't bother to much about it and focus on reading the book.
DING!,DING!
DING!, DING!...
Class 10-A
The school bell rang, every student went to their designated classrooms. Masashi entered his classroom and sits down at the back left corner near the windows.
Masashi: "if I somehow find out how to study magic at this era of no magic.....where can i?...."
A Beautiful woman entered the classroom, she writes down her name on the board.
------ "Okay class,, my name is Hillary Fletcher and I am your homeroom teacher for the whole semester, happy learning everyone!"
__
DING..... DING.... DING, DING....
At the cafeteria (lunch)
Masashi was walking at the hallway his on his way to the cafeteria when he saw Clara waiting for someone near the stairs.
Clara: "oh hey...what are you doing here masashi?...."
Masashi: "I was asking the same thing, what are doing here clara?"
Clara: "I was just waiting for my friend to eat lunch together.... What about you?"
Masashi: "I was happened to be on my way to the cafeteria, oh um, I have to go, see ya!"
Masashi rushed, he ran down stairs quick like he was about to have nothing left in the cafeteria.
------ "Quick!, the delicious food are almost gone!!, I have to hurry!"
After the class, masashi was on his way back to Clara's mansion, until he saw it.....the woman with the long hair, long cape, and a bluish purple robe, she also holding a staff.
???: "you wanna save this city don't you?..."
Masashi: "Well yeah, but why? Are you helping me or something?...."
???: "let's make a deal....I'll help you become a mage and teach you how to fight like one....but in return.....i want you----to take my life....."
Masashi: "What!?, why do I have to kill you?, for what?'"
???: "I was actually not supposed to be existing in this world but somehow I am here but you....you're the only one who can see me....thats why I wanna help you and I want you to help me as well."
Masashi: "... Alright deal....so can I trust you?"
???: "of course you can trust me, now, we should start tomorrow after your class ,are uou okay with that?'
Masashi: " Sure, see you tomorrow then!"
---
The next day, Masashi finished his morning classes and headed to the agreed meeting spot, a small park near the academy. The mysterious woman was already there, her long hair blowing gently in the wind. She wore the same bluish-purple robe and carried her staff.
"Good morning, Masashi," she said, her voice low and smooth. "My name is Eira, by the way. Let's get started."
Masashi nodded, still wary but curious. "So, how do we start?"
Eira smiled. "First, we need to test your magical abilities. Or rather, the lack thereof." She raised her staff, and a small burst of energy shot out, hovering above her palm.
Masashi watched, fascinated. "How do I...do that?"
Eira's smile grew wider. "That's what I'm here to teach you. But first, let's see if you have any innate talent." She gestured for Masashi to stand opposite her.
The training began, with Eira guiding Masashi through various exercises to awaken his magical potential. At first, nothing seemed to work, but gradually, Masashi started to feel a strange tingling sensation in his fingertips.
"What's happening?" Masashi asked, excitement creeping into his voice.
Eira's eyes sparkled. "You're tapping into the residual magic within you. Now, let's try to channel it..."
As they trained, Masashi's progress was rapid, surprising Eira. But despite the breakthroughs, Masashi couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Eira's motives than she was letting on.
That evening, as Masashi returned to Clara's mansion, he couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden in this mystical world, and what lay ahead in his dealings with Eira.
----
The next day, Masashi attended his classes with renewed enthusiasm, his mind preoccupied with magic and his training with Eira. In the library, he delved deeper into the book "The Blue Moon," searching for any clues about the curse and how to break it.
Meanwhile, Clara noticed Masashi's growing distraction and wondered if everything was alright. Little did she know, Masashi's journey into the world of magic had just begun, and it would change everything.
----
Night time (Clara's mansion, living room)
Masashi was about to go upstairs to his bedroom until he saw Clara walked down the stairs.
Masashi: "Good evening, you still up huh?"
Clara: "is there something.... Happening with you lately?...like...who's that woman with you?...."
Masashi: "A woman?.... Oh you mean Elra?, she's just my magic teacher."
Clara: ---- "You know this isn't gonna work!, we've been coursed remember?"
Masashi sighs.
Masashi: "I think it's time to tell you all about me.... I know it's too early to say this....but please sit down and listen....."
Then she listen to masashi's story from start to the current situation.
Clara: ----- "So if you're not from anywhere in this world, that jeans you're not affected by the curse... I see now.."
Masashi: "thank you for listening, now it's time for us to go to be---"
Clara stood up.
Clara: "I wanna help you!, I mean.... I should help you because.... This curse is been here for a while now, and I hate it so much.... So please....let me----"
Masashi: "no problem!, I'll tell Elra about you, let's start tomorrow, okay, goodni!"
__
At masashi's bedroom.
>Day 3 in this world,
"I discovered something really cool.... I found out that I was not affected by the kingdom's curse, that means I have the ability to learn magic, and to be able to do that, I need a teacher to reach met Elra the mysterious woman, who made a deal with me, she said she will help and after I finally learn magic, I'll give her a return... She said....."
The scene shifted showing their earlier conversations.
----- "I want you to take my life"
The scene shifted back.
Masashi: "and also, Clara wanted to help too!"
Then he sleep.
