Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Ren Liaria – TheKarnel Hondoom

"I don't know what's going on… and I don't know what's about to

happen.

That was the only thought echoing inside me.

An instinct.

A warning.

Something deep within me whispered that the world—my world—was

about to change forever."

The Beginning of Eternal Sunshine

Have you ever looked up at the sky and felt how small you really are?

Not just beneath the stars—but beneath the weight of something vast.

Unknowable.

Endless.

In that infinity called the Universe, where time folds like fabric and

galaxies drift in silence, countless lives breathe, evolve, and die. Life is

not exclusive to Earth. Far from it. Across the stars, civilizations thrive,

war, collapse, and rise again—never noticed by the humans who think

they stand alone.

One such civilization floats in the far reaches of the Astral Galaxy,

upon a planet called Astra—a world blessed with twin suns and cursed

with endless war. And it is there that our story truly begins.Planet Astra – Capital: Kaelios

A hot wind blew across the marble courtyards of the Royal Palace,

ruffling the capes of two guards stationed by its gilded gate. From

inside came the muffled sounds of unrest—of officials shouting,

servants whispering, and footsteps pacing across polished floors.

One of the guards, a tall man with a scar across his brow, leaned

slightly toward his comrade.

SOLDIER 1: "Brother… have you heard? They say Master Ren is

being punished by His Highness himself. For something trivial."

SOLDIER 2 (hushed): "Stole money, they say. From the treasury. A

thousand Cerels… That's barely a noble's monthly expense."

SOLDIER 1: "He's just fifteen. Still a child."

The second soldier glanced nervously toward the palace gates.

SOLDIER 2: "Careful what you say. Words can be as deadly as

swords."

Just then, the enormous doors groaned open. An entourage of royal

officials in ceremonial armor stepped forward, their polished boots

striking the stone in perfect rhythm. The guards straightened, silencing

themselves as the procession passed.

The Public Square – Minutes Later

A massive crowd had gathered—scholars, merchants, soldiers, nobles,

and commoners alike. All of them pressed into the square, murmuring,

wondering, waiting."He's just a boy…"

"Will they actually exile him?"

"Is His Highness truly going through with this?"

An announcer stepped forward from the ceremonial platform, raising a

crystal amplifier that projected his voice across the plaza.

ANNOUNCER: "His Highness approaches. Bow your heads and offer

praise to the Almighty Ruler of Astra."

Every voice fell silent. The air itself seemed to pause.

From the grand steps of the central tower descended a man of

unmatched presence—broad-shouldered, cloaked in dark crimson robes

edged with gold, and eyes sharp enough to slice through silence.

This was Hokabin Liaria—Warlord of the Astral Universe, High

King of Astra, and father to the boy now brought before him.

He stopped atop the dais, looking down at his people—not with

arrogance, but with a burden in his gaze that weighed heavier than any

crown.

HOKABIN: "You all know why I have summoned you here today."

His voice echoed like thunder before a storm.

HOKABIN: "And as your ruler, I stand before you not in pride—but in

shame."

He turned slightly and gestured.

HOKABIN: "Bring him forth."The guards pulled a lever, and a section of the platform rose. Shackled

in iron restraints, his wrists bruised, stood a boy—young, dishevelled,

and visibly trembling.

Ren Liaria.

Fifteen years old.

Prince of Astra.

The heir to powers older than time itself.

His white hair clung to his forehead, matted with sweat and tears. His

golden eyes—so much like his father's—pleaded silently as he was

brought before the crowd.

HOKABIN: "My son… Prince Ren Liaria… has committed an act of

theft. He has taken from the royal treasury. A thousand Cerels."

Gasps erupted across the plaza.

REN (shouting, crying): "Father! Please! It was just a little—just a

little money! Don't I even have that right?"

The boy's voice cracked under desperation.

REN: "I didn't mean harm! Why are you doing this to me?"

Hokabin's jaw clenched, his stare unforgiving.

HOKABIN: "It is not about the money, Ren. It is about meaning.

About principle. About fate."

He stepped forward, voice rising.

HOKABIN:

"You were not born like others.

You were chosen.

You carry within you the Karnel Hondoom—the strongest force in all

known universes. And with it, the Undying Miracle—a Shikigami whose power rivals

gods.

You were prophesied to surpass me.

But what good is power without discipline? What good is fate… if the

vessel is weak?"

The crowd had fallen deathly silent. No one dared interrupt.

HOKABIN (voice faltering): "I rejoiced the day you were born. The

priests said you would bring balance to the stars. But I cannot let the

savior of seven universes grow reckless. I will not let him become the

threat."

He turned toward the sky.

HOKABIN: "Open the barrier."

A deep hum pulsed through the air. High above, the protective barrier

that shielded Astra's atmosphere cracked open—revealing a

shimmering portal to the void beyond.

He faced his son one last time. Tears shimmered behind his steely eyes.

His rage faded, replaced with sorrow.

He knew what he had done.

He knew what he had to do.

But that didn't make it easier.

Hokabin's hand trembled.

And then—

He fell to his knees.

HOKABIN (whispering): "I'm sorry, my son…

But this is the only way."A surge of cosmic energy erupted from the platform. The air twisted.

Ren's bindings shattered as a pull unlike gravity seized him.

He rose—lifted by invisible force, flames licking his skin, his body

light as air and heavy as destiny.

REN (softly, smiling through tears): "I'll return one day, Dad…

Stronger than you ever imagined."

With clenched fists and a final, teary gaze, he vanished.

Beyond Astra | In the Depth of Space

His body spun into the rift, engulfed by heat and velocity.

Consciousness slipped away. Flames roared around him as he

accelerated—faster than light—ripping through space and time.

The stars blurred. Dimensions bent.

And in the far distance—

A small blue planet glowed.

Earth.

He crashed into an asteroid, bursting through it like a falling god. And

then—

He descended.

Thus Begins the JourneyThe boy once destined to rule the stars had fallen into a new world.

A world that had no idea what had just entered its skies.

A world on the edge of waking up.

The journey of Ren Liaria, wielder of the Karnel Hondoom, bearer of

the Undying Miracle,

had begun.

Not with a roar.

But with exile.

And a promise.
