Chapter 2 - Prologue: The Heart of the Sword

Ancient legends tell that it all began with a lonely girl.

She had no name to remember and no roof to protect her; she was just another one of the forgotten, until one day, amid the chaos of a kingdom collapsing from within, she made a decision that would change her world: to fight not for revenge, but for others like her.

She was ten when she saved another girl from being sold. Eleven when she learned to use a knife without fear. Twelve when she knocked down a soldier with her own hands. At thirteen, she was no longer alone.

That is how Guardians, The Guardian Circle, the Sisterhood of Guardians, was born.

Not with armies, nor with crowns, nor with blood pacts... but with glances, wounds, and promises made between orphaned girls under the moon.

Years passed. She grew up, and the world looked at her with new eyes. One of those eyes belonged to a young prince. He did not find her at a party or a ball, but on a battlefield, healing her wounded sisters. He saw in her not a princess, but a queen capable of holding an entire kingdom in her steady hands and indomitable soul.

History brought them together. She was the warrior queen, he was the ruler who gave his people something more powerful than peace: hope.

And together, they protected the kingdom's most valuable secret: the existence of Guardians, the organization that would grow in silence, hidden among legends, alive in every generation of girls who chose not to give up.

Today, centuries later, when the world has changed and technology touches the stars, their legacy lives on. The organization still trains the chosen ones. The forgotten ones. The strong ones. Those who decide that family is not always born... sometimes it is forged.

And at the center of it all, a small and powerful figure still walks: the matriarch. A direct descendant of those first founders. Tough as steel. Wise as an oak. Joyful as a girl's laughter, but stronger than any legend.

Because as long as there are girls without homes, without shelter, without a voice... Guardians will live on. And the swords of tomorrow will continue to be born from the heart.
