Reya slammed the door behind them.
"You touched her."
Kael raised his hands. "She attacked me!"
"You touched her, Kael. With Ether. And she responded."
He paced. "Yeah, I noticed."
Reya stalked toward him. "You don't understand what that means here. You triggered a partial bond. Accidental or not, her soul now wants yours."
Kael froze. "You're kidding."
She shook her head. Her voice dropped. "You're forming knots. Without ritual. Without training. That's not supposed to be possible."
He swallowed. "Is that bad?"
Reya hesitated. "It's addictive. For them. And for you. Keep doing this and you'll have a harem before the month ends."
Kael blinked. "That's... not a problem?"
She stepped closer, heat in her voice now. "It is when they start fighting over you. Or killing for you."
