It was a sunny day 2024 Sep 7
"Hey Zakku, how was the ride home last night" said the store clerk
Zackku looked up, not wanting to start a conversation but answered anyway.
"It was alright took along time due to traffic"
"It was really busy yesterday so i understand" the clerk replied and then before Zakku could respond he added
"It must be because the event happening downtown"
Downtown every couple months has a big party to celebrate randomly, and hundreds of people come down
"Yeah and they dont stop for weeks" Zakku said with disgust in his head
He never really was able to sleep during the parties, kids would always scream and there will always be trash everywhere in the streets, stopping people from going to work
Zakku hated working for this photography company, they always sent him on boring photo shoots, He always wanted to take pictures of cars and the landscape, but he gets stuck with weddings.
His face scrunch up at the thought of the last wedding photoshoot, the kids wouldn't stop moving, and the parents never liked his pictures, a hour job took six.
Zakku forgot he was standing at the line just staring at the cashier
"You okay" the clerk asked
"Yes yes sorry Thank you" Zakku replied
As he walks out the store he looks to the right and these kids are running by, and as one runs by he says to the other
"Make sure you stay far away"
"Wonder what they were talking about" Zakku thought
Zakku walks to the airport and he realized he forgot something
"I forgot i got to meet my friend before he leaves for Italy"
Zakku runs to the airport, to his luck it was only a couple mins away
His friend was waiting outside the airport looking frantically, he turns one more time and finally sees Zakku
"IM SORRY MIKA" Zakku says as he prepares to get hit over the head
Mika looks at him and hits him softly over the head
"Your 15 mins late" Mika says while looking at his watch
"Sorry the clerk was talking my ear off" Zakku replied
Zakku walks with Mika and as they talk they walk by a group of people making a scene with Tsa
Mika says jokingly "They probably don't wanna pay the fee for the shampoo"
Zakku and him laugh loudly, so loud that people starts giving them weird looks
He met Mika as a kid in 1st grade, Zakku wasnt really a talkative person but with Mika he always seemed to smile, Mika just understood him, he always knew how Zakku was feeling, they were inseparable, it always bothered his teachers
It was Mika turn and his for Tsa, they get through safely, Zakku looks to his left and sees kids running through the metal detectors with phones setting them off, The Tsa agents get one but the other runs off.
"Stupid kids, but at least their having fun" says Zakku to Mika
"Just like us" Mika replied
As Mika gets ready to board his plan he turns around and looks at Zakku
Tears in his eyes, "Ill be back soon but we havent been seperated in awhile"
"You were always a crybaby" Zakku responded
"I wish you can come you would love the terrain" says Mika
"I know the buildings and the roads would go pretty in my camera" replied Zakku
"Whatcha gonna do without me" says Nika
"Same thing i do every day" replied Zakku
and they both say at the same time
"Rot in your bed"
They both laughed for a awhile and then quiet down
"guess this is goodbye" says Nika
"Don't die" says Zakku
"Your diet gonna kill you before I kick the rocks" Mika responded
"He said im healthy shhhhh" Zakuu replied
Zakku and Nika go for a hug
And as they hugged, they both heard a loud noise, and then another, they hear screaming and as they turn around,
the people making trouble with Tsa
held up a gun.
Aimed it at the agent and then
shot him in the head
And all Zakku and Nika could do was
Run
