The 7 were sprinting through the orange sky as they had to go find a way towards Celestia. They were running on a tall, steep, and green hill that was shadowed by the dark, swirling clouds. It was very jagged and looked a lot like a mountain, and the rocks were pointing out at every edge. Bolting across the mountain at high speeds—heck, they probably didn't even know where they were going.
Alien Uragas with cannons filled the air, making squawking noises and indescribable alien gurgles as they flew around with their cannons. "ALRIGHT, WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?!" Olsen shouted at Starla. Starla shook her head quickly, her hair moving around wildly as she ran. "I'll explain! Just follow me!" So they did, following her up across the steep mountain hill while the sun was still rising. Alien birds with cannons were taking over the skies, flying around like scattered black olives. As they went up and up and up, Starla came to a halt when she heard an ear-piercing growl from afar. Everybody followed her movement, stopping as well.
Starla looked around from left to right, then she looked at an angle—and from over the hill, there was a Lunaranite.
It wasn't a Lunaranite soldier—it was one of the Lunaranite Dragons that were summoned by the Power Gems, so it had no mind at all. There was a large jagged stone rock right next to them, and Starla ordered them to stay behind that rock. They all pressed their backs against it, some sitting and some standing. Starla kept her finger over her lips to signal them to be quiet, because they didn't want the Lunaranite to hear them. Then the growling came again—and another growl, and another—then more growls started to emerge from across the hill. "There's more of them?" Prince whispered as he turned to Starla. Olsen rolled his eyes, whispering to Prince in a deadpan tone, "Of course there's more of them, what do you think, genius?!" "Alright, now can you explain who you really are?" Archie asked while raising his eyebrow at Starla. The growl was heard again, and Demaurion was about to lose his temper.
Ella calmed him down a bit to make sure he didn't explode, but then the sounds of one of the Lunaranite's talons were heard walking towards them. They froze, hearts beating faster than they'd ever beaten in their lives. The Lunaranite sniffing the air around the rock was heard, then more of them made growling noises and little roars, filling the atmosphere as they tried to look around for the victims.
Starla slowly sat down on the grass as the dark, thunderous sky approached. Then a Lunaranite's head crept up from behind the rock. It peeked to the side of the large rock, looking around—anywhere but at the seven. They made sure to breathe quietly and not make any sound as the Lunaranite turned its head from left to right. But just as the Lunaranite was about to leave— "TAKE THIS, YOU PIECE OF MONSTROSITY!" Archie yelled as he jumped from his position, his fists already lit up bright and well with flames toward the beast. Everybody cried at the same time, "ARCHIE, NO!" Archie slammed his fists against the beast's face, which released a fiery explosion that shot the beast into the air, slowly flipping backward. Smoke erupted from Archie's fists, and he blew it off like it was no problem. He turned to the crew with his hands on his hips, saying, "Well, that wasn't so hard. I was waiting till' you guys decided to do something."
"YOU DUMMY! THERE'S MORE LUNARANITES OVER THERE, WHICH WAS WHY WE DID NOTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE!" Ella scolded. "Lunaranites?" Archie cocked his head. He slowly turned to the side, up the hill—only to see almost ten Lunaranites holding spears with their claws, ready to attack. He sighed, "Oh shoot." One of them roared, and they flew toward Archie at excellent speed, tackling him so hard that it sent the both of them rolling down the hill, tumbling like crazy. As they looked down, the others turned back to the beasts with their weapons out, ready to fight back. Then they jumped into action.
Olsen whacked his hammer against one Lunaranite, sending it flying, then he quickly twirled around to strike another one out cold. Demaurion swung his trident around like crazy, stabbing and slashing each Lunaranite with it. Then Ella fired sand balls at the Lunaranites, creating dust explosions that suffocated them into sand. They exploded like flour bursting in the air. Then from the sky, it rained yellow and cyan radiant stars, creating explosions—that was Starla herself. Meanwhile, Archie was still rolling down with the Lunaranite, and they both exchanged blows to the face and head. Then Archie grunted as he grabbed its head and launched himself into the air, body-slamming it down to the ground, creating a huge booming explosion that killed the Lunaranite. The others on top of the hill created powerful explosions, and elemental powers were glowing and flashing in the thunderous light.
More Lunaranites came, running toward them, fighting with their claws, slashing them, and tail-whipping them. They were starting to struggle—until somebody decided to show up. Archie launched himself into the air above all of them, skyrocketing high into the sky. He was already 50 feet above them shouting, "ALRIGHT, GUYS! I HOPE THIS CAN BEAT 'EM ALL!" He created a fiery orange flame bomb and hurled it down to the ground where the Lunaranites were (the other side of the hill). The bomb rolled across the ground like a flaming orange cylinder, then it started to make beeping noises.
Everybody looked down with a smile, still fighting the Lunaranites—but then the worst happened. The bomb slowly rolled to the edge of the hill as if it were moving on its own, and then it knocked itself onto a small rock, which launched it into the air. Then it hit a pointy edge of a jagged rock which sent it flying back toward them—but higher into the air—and it hit Archie in the head, bouncing off toward the side where the heroes were fighting (the front side of the hill). The bomb started to beep, and beep, and beep and beep. Olsen tried to defuse it by smashing it with his hammer, only to burn it. Ella frantically tried using her cat claws from her hero gear to see if scratching would work, but it only made the thing beep faster. Archie was still flying in the air using his phoenix wings, and then his excited heroic face turned into a straight, deadpan face. The bomb beeped one more time, and then Archie looked down at it with a frown.
"Ah, fuck."
(BOOM!) went the fiery bomb, sending everybody sprawling onto the ground—but at least it killed the Lunaranites. They were on their backs with their weapons dropped on the hill. Then Olsen sighed, shaking his head. He looked up at Archie. "Are you serious right now, bro? ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!" Eli, who stayed silent the entire time, only just stared blankly at Archie.
Then he got up to dust off his shirt. Demaurion got up with burnt marks on his face, picked up his trident, and stabbed it against the ground while staring up at Archie. "You've really done it this time, haven't you." "Heh heh, sorry," Archie said sheepishly. Prince had ashes and was burnt all over the face, and he shook it off quickly, and it all faded away.
"Oh great, now my cat ears are dusty," Ella said as they wilted down. "Don't forget about my wings!" Starla exclaimed, flapping her burnt wings. She flapped them a few times, and they did go back to normal. Archie slowly landed back onto the ground and ruffled his hair. "Hey, it was all part of the plan! At least they're all dead now!" They all looked around—he was right.
Every single one of the Lunaranites was dropped down onto the ground, with blood pouring out of their bodies, coming in contact with the grass, turning it red. Starla looked over the hill, her eyes scanning the area. She scanned it—until she saw something. It was Musicia, once a large, bustling city that had golden and pink buildings and towers, with the skinny castle tower of Queen Soundzwave right in the middle.
Now it had Alien Uragas firing and shooting at buildings. They collapsed, and sounds of people screaming for help were heard from afar. Lunaranites raided the place, tearing down buildings with dark flames and effortless force. Alien birds fired at the architecture using their cannons, completely demolishing it. It looked like a city of badlands being raided by darkness and nightmarish monsters themselves, beneath the dark swirling clouds of shadows. Crumbling, and then—(CRAAAASSSHHHHKKKKRRRR!) went the once towering buildings. She blinked one more time, then stared up at the top of the castle—the tippity top.
There was a golden bridge that led to the sky, above the dark swirling clouds, surging with lightning and electricity. Meaning that the 7 had to do something.... "Exactly, why are we going to Celestia?" Prince asked as he stood beside Starla. Starla stared at the golden bridge like she was lost in a trance, then she shook her head and the bridge was gone. She turned her gaze to Prince, "Because someone has activated the Celestial Pillars, and the Power Gems are coming to them. If we don't act now, we don't know what happens to Celestia or the rest of Avangard..." "It could be either Incarceration, Dark Don, Dreadixz, or any other villains we've might've known... And I'm Starla, the Celestianite Princess who's gonna stop the war that's probably raging in Celestia. WE got to get there before the Power Gems get to the pillars, and I know just how to do it..."
The two stood against each other on the torn battlefield. Flames blazed from one place to another, while the sounds of clashing and roaring echoed in the distance. The air was completely filled with smoke, and the sky was gray—there was no light left in Celestia. Dark Don stood on one side, clenching his fists with a sinister smirk as he stared deep into Jaylen's soul. Jaylen had a serious, locked-in look on his face, wearing a firm frown. Their energies crackled violently together, charging up and preparing for battle. Dark Don chuckled. "Your attitude changes quickly when things get heated. That's great for you…" Jaylen rolled his eyes. "Things aren't about to be great for you…"
And in a flash, they clashed! Explosions rocked the entire battlefield in bursts of silver, bright yellow, and cyan. Jaylen quickly teleported behind Dark Don, delivering a hard aerial kick that launched him into the air. Dark Don skyrocketed but rolled mid-air into a crackling white lunar sphere, then hurled himself downward toward Jaylen, creating a massive shockwave that tore through the battlefield like paper.
The ground shook violently. Jaylen sprinted toward him at high speeds, dashing through the city debris. He jumped and flipped over obstacles, flying past them at light speed, and finally dropkicked Dark Don with both legs, creating a blinding explosion that sent Dark Don tumbling and rolling across the ravaged land. Dark Don flipped back into position and charged his entire body with lunar energy. He boosted toward Jaylen, striking his gut once, then followed up with a right hook to the face, a quick left hook, and a brutal backhand that launched Jaylen into the air. Dark Don chased after him, spinning mid-air to block Jaylen's counterattack, but Jaylen managed a gut punch—Dark Don blocked it and retaliated with a missile-like overhand to the chin, sending Jaylen spiraling through the sky. As Jaylen twisted through the air, Dark Don teleported right in front of him, slamming a fist into his chest and sending him crashing back to the ground. Jaylen shook it off and darted toward Dark Don like a shooting star, landing a left hook that sent him flying downward through the clouds.
Jaylen followed, reeling back his fist and punching him again in the face. Then, launching himself downward, he tackled Dark Don like a meteor ready to crash. They both smashed through the ground, creating a massive shockwave that split the air and wrecked the earth beneath them. Dark Don instantly right-hooked Jaylen to the side, then got up and slammed both fists down on him, punching his head to the ground. He followed with a devastating knee to the gut and grabbed Jaylen by the neck. Clenching tightly, he smirked again. With a burst of speed, Dark Don flew into the sky and dropkicked Jaylen back down like a fiery meteor. Jaylen crash-landed while Dark Don landed in front of him, thrusting a fist into his chest, then grabbed Jaylen by the head and spun him violently. He looked like a white crackling lunar Beyblade as the energy intensified. Dark Don dragged Jaylen into the air and screamed, "VICIOUS LUNAR!"
He slammed Jaylen's head into the ground so hard that a quake-like shockwave burst from the impact, reshaping the land and cracking the battlefield. He pulled Jaylen back up and began unleashing a wild flurry—hit after hit, strike after strike, kick after kick. Then he spun around for a Lunar Punch, but Jaylen blocked it with his arm, creating a huge shockwave.
Jaylen stared at Dark Don, locked in. Then—BAM—he teleported behind him and backhanded him into the air, sending Dark Don flipping and ascending slowly. Jaylen appeared above him with a glowing fist and roared, "DREAM'S DESCEND!"—slamming a punch that launched Dark Don to the ground. He rolled faster than a racecar's wheels, eating dirt and debris. Jaylen teleported behind him, his palm glowing with cyan and yellow energy.
"BRIGHTENING HEAVENS!" A massive swirling beam erupted from his hand, spiraling toward Dark Don and lighting up the entire battlefield. Dark Don tumbled mid-air but spun around and smashed his fists into the ground, causing a lunar explosion. It collided with the Dream Energy Beam, and the combined surge created a colossal explosion and shockwave, spreading out like a ring across the sky.
Smoke filled the air. They stood again, panting, fists crackling with power. Jaylen didn't back down. He charged forward, tackling Dark Don in a blinding flash. They teleported into the air as Jaylen socked him in the face with a glowing punch, sending him spiraling again. But Dark Don came back, flying below Jaylen to uppercut his chin and grab his head, soaring through the air with lunar trails behind. He smashed through a building with Jaylen, then elbowed him mid-air, sending Jaylen spinning. Jaylen shook his head and launched himself forward—one overhand punch to the face, followed by an aerial kick. He grabbed Dark Don's leg, teleported behind him, and landed a harsh strike to the back. Jaylen teleported mid-air and skidded across the ground, kicking up dirt as he landed. A massive shockwave warped the air around him. Dark Don appeared before him. They stood face to face once more. Jaylen muttered, "You know what… That's IT."
He clenched his fists as cyan and yellow dream energy erupted from below, swirling around him like fire. Dark Don stared back, clenching his fists too. The area trembled, lunar energy bursting from his eyes just like Jaylen's. Cracking his knuckles and neck, Dark Don asked, "You sure you wanna go like this?" "Oh, I'm sure I wanna go like this," Jaylen answered coldly. He stomped the ground, sending rocks flying.
"COME ON!!!" he yelled—his voice boomed like thunder. Dark Don rocketed forward at light speed, lunar energy radiating. Jaylen did the same, fists charged up. They collided—BOOM—distorting reality itself with a battlefield-shaking shockwave. In seconds, they were already in the air, circling each other in the wild winds. Jaylen struck first—two quick punches, then a left hook to an uppercut. Dark Don ducked, avoiding it, and countered with an overhand to the chest. Jaylen dodged by teleporting behind him, a dream energy orb glowing in his hand. He aimed to slam it into Dark Don's back, but Dark Don spun around, throwing his fists into it.
The explosion warped outward, spreading like crazy. Dark Don followed with a punch to the face, then another to the chest. He grabbed Jaylen's arm and began swinging him like a ragdoll, hurling him through the smoke-filled sky. Jaylen flew through the clouds, looking around desperately—then saw glowing white eyes. Dark Don shot out of the clouds, lunged at him, flipped, and kicked Jaylen down to the ground. A massive boom echoed through the sky as Jaylen was hurled into the ground as the power was too much for him. Then he opened his eyes to Dark Don landing a hard hit to his face. Jaylen quickly responded by uppercutting Dark Don, but Dark Don tackled him straight down to the ground again. He spun around rapidly through the clouds in the sky and then body-slammed Jaylen down so hard it created a blinding white-silver explosion that nearly swallowed the entire battlefield and shook everything around.
Dark Don had Jaylen pinned to the ground, and Jaylen was completely wrecked. He coughed out blood as Dark Don gave him a small, disappointed frown. He delivered another strike to Jaylen's face with his glowing lunar hand, shaking the place again. Blood flew into the air as Jaylen struggled to breathe, fighting just to stay conscious. "So sad," Dark Don muttered in a cold, dark voice, striking Jaylen's face once again. "Really sad," he added, before landing another brutal punch that sent more blood spraying into the air. He lifted Jaylen into the air by the neck, then suddenly teleported far above the sky, letting go of Jaylen and vanishing. Jaylen was left alone, floating and panicking, eyes darting through the clouds trying to find him. Suddenly, Dark Don teleported right in front of him, striking Jaylen in the face with a lunar punch that sent him flying like a ragdoll. Then he appeared in front of Jaylen again and smashed him with a vicious gut punch, sending him spiraling in mid-air. Dark Don teleported behind Jaylen and hit him with a left hook, then a right hook, then an uppercut, and finally an overhand punch. He spun around at the speed of light, looking like a lunar Beyblade, and launched Jaylen through the sky toward a large rusty building that was still standing. Jaylen crashed straight through the middle of the building, sliding at the speed of sound and splitting it clean in half. He was thrown out the other end and began rattling across the ground on his back like a broken toy. Then he crashed into the tank of a large red truck, causing a huge explosion that blasted him back into the air. He finally landed on the ground, slowly rolling onto his side—bloodied. Defeated...
