Chapter 5 - Chapter 4 Offline Reality Uchiha Madara

Eventually, Madara collapsed to the ground.

This battle clearly showed that when Hashirama got serious, Madara couldn't truly compete with him.

Without the Nine Tails to back him up, Madara had no way to launch his overwhelming beast attacks.

Hashirama didn't even have to use his strongest techniques like Sage Art: Shinsuusenju.

Tobirama appeared on the scene almost instantly.

"Brother, what happened here?"

He glanced at the defeated Madara, then looked at his brother with confusion.

The two were normally close—what caused a brawl this time?

Hashirama, his face serious, said calmly:

"Go back, Tobirama. This is between me and him."

Tobirama wanted to say more but stopped when he saw the determination in Hashirama's eyes.

"...Fine. I'll go assess the damage."

And with that, he left.

Once they were alone, Hashirama looked at Madara with a solemn expression, sorrow weighing on his voice:

"Madara, I still can't believe it... that you've fallen this far."

"You've betrayed the ideals we once fought for."

Madara, lying on the ground and fuming, had no idea why Hashirama suddenly attacked him.

But those words—so full of disappointment—cooled his fury.

"You know everything…?" Madara asked.

"How could I not? Why else would I be here?"

"Madara, it's not too late. You can still turn back."

Hashirama's voice was calm but firm.

But Madara only scoffed:

"Hashirama, did you know the world the Sage of Six Paths built was a failure?"

"I will create the perfect world that he never could."

"It doesn't matter how you found out about my Eye of the Moon Plan—because there's no way you can stop me."

He glared defiantly.

Hashirama blinked.

"Wait... the Eye of the Moon? What's that?"

Madara paused, taken aback.

"Don't tell me you don't know what it is? You just said—"

"I've heard the name. You mean the Infinite Tsukuyomi?"

"But that's not why I came here. What I'm upset about are the choices you make in the future. How you stray from everything we stood for."

"We agreed to create a peaceful ninja world together—but instead, you became the cause of more war."

"And worse... you dragged an innocent child like Obito into darkness. You turned him into your puppet, made him commit unspeakable crimes."

Madara's expression darkened further.

"HASHI—WHAT?!"

He couldn't believe it.

So Hashirama didn't come because the Eye of the Moon Plan was leaked?

It was about… the future?

"When the hell did you become a fortune teller?!"

"Are you just messing with me?!"

Madara, furious, made a hand sign.

"Fire Style: Fire Annihilation!"

Meanwhile, back in the present...

Yuyue frowned slightly as he walked home from school.

"That's odd. Why hasn't the First Hokage reacted yet? He cares about Madara more than anyone…"

But the final bell had rung, and it was time to head home for dinner. He didn't think too much about it.

Yuyue had no idea that Hashirama had already gone to confront the real Madara in person—offline.

"Hey, Naruto, want to have dinner at my place?"

Yuyue gave Naruto a friendly pat on the shoulder.

"Eh?! Really? You mean it, Yuyue?!"

Naruto's face lit up.

Compared to eating instant noodles alone at home, a proper meal sounded like heaven.

"Just come already."

"Okay! Oh—weren't we gonna eat Ichiraku Ramen today?"

"Another time. Not tonight."

"Got it!"

The two of them left the academy together, chatting and laughing.

Sakura, watching from a distance, rolled her eyes.

"Tch. Figures. Two losers sticking together."

"Hey, Forehead—maybe stop badmouthing people for once," Ino shot back, annoyed.

"What's it to you, Ino-pig? If you like them so much, go eat with them. One less rival for Sasuke."

"Hmph."

Ino turned away with a scoff.

Sakura ignored her and turned to Sasuke instead:

"Sasuke-kun~ Want to walk home together?"

Sasuke didn't even look at her and walked right past, leaving her standing there awkwardly.

Elsewhere...

Yuyue and Naruto returned home. They swung by the market to buy some ingredients.

Yuyue lived alone. His father (a Jonin) and mother (a Chunin) had died during the Nine Tails' rampage.

Fortunately, they'd left him a house in the city and a generous inheritance—enough for him to live comfortably.

"You wash the rice and start the cooker. I'll handle the rest," Yuyue said.

"You got it!" Naruto beamed.

Soon, a warm and simple dinner was ready.

Nothing fancy—just a steamed fish, stir-fried vegetables, and hot soup.

But to Naruto, it was like a feast.

"SO good! This is amazing!"

Naruto practically inhaled the food. Over 80% of the table's contents disappeared into his stomach.

Realizing what he'd done, Naruto paused, embarrassed.

"Oops… Did I eat too much? I'm sorry, Yuyue."

"It's fine. I'm glad you liked it. You full?"

"Stuffed! Thanks again!"

"Hold on now—don't think this was a free meal~"

"Huh?! Then I'll pay you back!"

"I don't need your money. Just do the dishes."

"Done deal!"

Naruto hopped up with energy, eager to help.

Night fell over the village.

Naruto eventually headed home.

"Thanks again, Yuyue. See ya!"

"Be careful on your way back. Ja ne~"

Yuyue showered and got ready for bed.

Without smartphones or much entertainment, there wasn't much else to do.

"Let's check the group chat..."

He opened the interface—and was floored.

Minato and Obito were still talking. The master and student had been chatting nonstop.

As he scrolled through the chat history, Yuyue's eyes widened.

"This kid Obito is really getting fired up..."

He had awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan ahead of time—and now he was talking about uniting the entire ninja world to bring lasting peace.

A noble dream... but unrealistic.

His ideals were fine, but Obito didn't seem to grasp the limits of his current power.

Thankfully, Minato had stepped in to calm him down.

It was true—Obito with dual Kamui was extremely powerful.

But there was a fatal flaw.

In the original timeline, Obito stirred up chaos in the ninja world largely thanks to Hashirama Cells—half his body was rebuilt with them, giving him nearly unlimited chakra and durability.

Without those cells, his Mangekyō would've burned out long ago.

In this timeline, although Obito had awakened Kamui early, he didn't have that regenerative power source.

He had no Wood Release, no Yin-Yang Release, no Six Paths power—not even the Chakra Cloak.

Without those boosts, how could he dream of uniting the entire ninja world?
