Chapter 1 - 1. The Strongest Witch

The world of Zagron lay shattered, its once-vibrant landscapes reduced to smoldering ruins. For centuries, the demon lord, Xarath, had ravaged the land, his dark magic corrupting everything it touched. Humanity teetered on the brink of extinction, their hopes dwindling with each passing day.

But the gods, in their infinite wisdom, gifted humanity a chance at redemption. They bestowed upon a select few the power to wield ancient magic, and with it, the tide of war slowly began to shift. After generations of bloodshed and sacrifice, the people of Zagron finally managed to seal away the demon lord, saving their world from the brink of destruction.

In the aftermath, the world's most powerful mages gathered to determine the strongest among them. They called it the Great Convergence, a tournament of magic and might that would decide the top 10 most formidable wizards. These chosen few would form the Council of the Elements, tasked with protecting Zagron from future threats and maintaining the balance of magic.

Years passed, and the council became a beacon of hope in a world still recovering from the demon lord's reign of terror. Among the council's ranks was a legendary witch, Elfaria, renowned for her unparalleled prowess in magic. She had single-handedly defeated Xarath's most feared general, earning her a place among the top 10.

Now, a young boy named Klaus Wringstone whispered rumors of meeting Elfaria . Few believed him, but Klaus's determination burned brighter than any star...

Atlas is a building where all strongest magician gathers and talk about their experiences what happened at their quest .

A boy with a kind personality , A overthinker and hardworking boy who is going to meet the strongest witch because he is called by her and he is very excited to meet her.

The boy thought to himself, _Finally, going to meet the strongest witch. How will I introduce myself?

He straightened his posture, adopting a serious tone. "I am Klaus Wringstone," he said.

Then, a warm smile spread across his face. "Nice to meet you, miss."

As Klaus thought about how to introduce himself, he didn't notice the attention he was drawing from the others passing by in the hallway. People began to stare, whispering to each other and wondering who this awkward stranger was. "Who is this guy?" someone whispered.

Klaus, sensing the sudden interest, looked up to find everyone staring at him. He felt a flush rise to his cheeks as he realized he'd been standing there, lost in thought, outside the door he was about to enter. He gave a sheepish smile and apologized, "Sorry for disturbing...I guess I got a bit lost in thought."

Taking a deep breath, Klaus pushed open the door and stepped inside, his eyes adjusting to the new surroundings. He wondered what lay ahead, and when he would finally meet the strongest witch. With a sense of determination, he walked forward. As Klaus reached the door, he paused, his hand hesitating on the handle. What if I'm not worthy? What if I say something wrong? His mind began to wander, and he found himself admiring the intricate carvings on the door. The craftsmanship was exquisite, with delicate patterns and symbols etched into the wood.

Klaus's fingers trailed over the designs, feeling the subtle grooves and ridges. This is truly majestic work, he thought, his worries momentarily forgotten.

Taking a deep breath, Klaus pushed open the door and stepped inside. As the door creaked open, he felt a sudden surge of energy, like an aura enveloping him. The air seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly power, and Klaus's senses tingled in response.

He blinked, his eyes adjusting to the dim light within. The room was filled with a soft, ethereal glow.

The room was filled with a palpable aura, and Klaus's curiosity grew with every step. One of the top 10 strongest magicians, Drake, stood tall, a smirk on his face as he welcomed Klaus. "Welcome, little buddy."

However, Klaus didn't even glance in Drake's direction. His eyes darted around the room, taking in every detail. "Where's the majestic demon killer, Estaria Mystion?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement.

Drake's smirk faltered, shocked that Klaus wasn't paying attention to him. _What, does he directly want to know about number 2 strongest?_ Drake thought, his expression darkening.

"Little buddy, I am—"

But Klaus cut him off mid-sentence, his gaze fixed on a figure across the room. "Chroma Newton, the genius!" Klaus's eyes lit up with curiosity, and he took a step forward.

Drake's eyes widened in shock, and he whispered, "No way..." His anger grew, and he snarled, "You know who I am, yet you ignore me?"

Klaus didn't even acknowledge Drake's presence, too enthralled by the figures in the room. His eyes landed on Erika Shadowglow, the Hollow, and he exclaimed, "What a beautiful scenery! I think I can die easily now, G!"

Drake's anger boiled over, and he dispelled the hallucination magic surrounding the room. "Do you know who I am?

Klaus finally noticed Drake, but his eyes narrowed as he tried to recall the man's name. "Uh, you're... um...?" Klaus's forgetfulness only fueled Drake's growing anger.

Just as Drake's rage was about to boil over, a sudden telepathic message reached him. A feminine voice, calm and authoritative, echoed in his mind. "Stop it, Drake. Tell him to come to the Elm forest, to the middle tree. Now."

Drake's anger dissipated, replaced by shock and a hint of fear. He hadn't expected anyone to contact him telepathically, let alone with such authority. Taking a deep breath, he composed himself and turned to Klaus.

"You've been called by the strongest witch," Drake said, his voice measured. "She wants to meet you in the Elm forest, at the middle tree. Go cautiously, boy."

As Drake opened his mouth to introduce himself, Klaus's eyes lit up with excitement. "The strongest witch? I'm going!" Without waiting for further instructions, Klaus turned and sprinted out of the room, leaving Drake staring after him in a mix of frustration and admiration.

Drake watched him go, still trying to process the sudden turn of events. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait for another time to make an impression.

Klaus sprinted through the Elm forest, his feet pounding against the earth like a bullet train. His excitement was palpable as he hurtled towards his meeting with the strongest witch. The trees blurred together as he took a shortcut, his determination to reach the village propelling him forward.

Meanwhile, a fierce battle raged in the forest. A woman clashed with a giant, their struggle sending shockwaves through the underbrush. The sound of snapping branches and grunting effort filled the air.

Undeterred by the commotion, Klaus continued his sprint, his focus fixed on reaching the middle of the forest. Finally, he burst into a clearing and skidded to a stop. Before him, an elf girl sat serenely atop the lifeless bodies of two giants. Her piercing gaze met Klaus's, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.

The elf girl's presence was both captivating and unnerving, and Klaus felt his excitement falter for a moment. Klaus's curiosity was piqued, and he took a step forward, his eyes locked on the elf girl.

Klaus's excitement grew as he gazed at the elf girl, convinced she was the strongest witch. He took a step forward, eager to introduce himself. But before he could speak, a wild giant burst from the bushes, its roar thundering through the forest.

Startled, Klaus hastily closed his eyes and conjured an ice wall, hoping to block the giant's attack. However, the giant's brute strength shattered the ice barrier, and Klaus's eyes snapped open in alarm.

Just as all hope seemed lost, a massive spike erupted from the ground, piercing the giant's chest and leaving a gaping hole. Klaus's jaw dropped in awe as he stared at the strongest witch, his mind reeling from the terrifying magic she had just unleashed.

"Wow, that spell was incredible!" Klaus exclaimed, his excitement and admiration momentarily overriding his caution.

The strongest witch, however, seemed nonchalant, casually reaching into her pocket to pull out a candy. Klaus's eyes widened as he recalled the rumors about her unsettling behavior and unpredictable powers. His fear spiked, and he hastily conjured another ice wall, shielding himself.

When he opened his eyes, the ice wall had vanished, replaced by a magical note hovering in the air. The note bore a message in elegant script: "Klaus, I'm Elfaria Valtira." The strongest witch, Elfaria, stood before him, her eyes is gleaming with innocence.

Klaus's encounter with the strongest witch, Elfaria Valtira, had left him both awestruck and intimidated. As he stood frozen, gazing at the magical note with his name and hers inscribed, he couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead.

The forest seemed to grow quieter, as if the trees themselves were watching the unfolding scene. Klaus's heart still racing, he took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was to come.

And so, the chapter concludes with Klaus poised on the threshold of a new journey, one that would likely test his courage, wits, and resolve. The strongest witch, Elfaria Valtira, stood before him, her intentions and motivations shrouded in mystery.
