This is a science-fantasy novel. THIS NOVEL HASN'T STARTED YET. A new phenomenon emerged in the 21st century, where people around the world are subjected to random mass delusions and illusions. Upon this information being disclosed to the masses in 2014, a streamer jokingly called the phenomenon the “Adolescence Syndrome” as a reference to a certain light novel released at the time. This was quickly adopted to be the proper scientific term for the phenomena, as it seemed to only affect people whose brains were still developing. While most cases seem harmless—save for psychological trauma—many led to sudden deaths, leaving families ruined in its wake. Now in modern times, a decade after the phenomenon was first documented, society has adapted to the global phenomenon, treating these illusions and deaths as normal circumstances. Scientists and researchers still haven’t figured out the cause for the Adolescence Syndrome, while governments attempt to utilize it. At this time, a certain college freshman attempts to lead a normal life. Or not.
