"What third possibility?" Caleb repeated, his voice rising with irritation as he glared at me.
I kept my expression neutral, though inside I was seething. This was a calculated attack, and I needed to stay composed. "The possibility that you're deliberately trying to sabotage me with false accusations."
Caleb's face reddened. "You're calling me a liar?"
"I'm saying someone is lying, and it isn't me." I crossed my arms, standing my ground.
Harrison stepped between us, his weathered face creased with concern. "This is getting us nowhere. Ms. Dubois, these are serious allegations. Do you have any evidence to support your claim of original work?"
Before I could answer, Caleb thrust his phone forward. "I have proof right here. A screenshot from Fiona Dubois showing that she received Dr. Wilson's proposal first, which she forwarded to me."
