Chapter 1 - Chapter Two: Cemetery Girl

Jason closed his locker and he saw his teammates also friends approaching him. He smiled and moved forward to shake hands.

"How are you doin' bro?" Freddie asked.

"Great." Jason replied.

"Did you hear about the beach party Kayla is planning to have this weekend?" Richard asked as they all walked to their last class for the day.

"Not until now. I don't think I wanna have anything to do with Kayla. That girl is a crazy as a mad bitch." Jason said and his friends laughed. They all knew how Kayla had always madly chased their friend. Jason had just wanted to keep it at friends but even the friendship got a little out of hand. So, he had been doing pretty much of avoiding her.

"Just try, bro. We don't want to have one puzzle piece missing especially the important one." Simon said with a grin.

"Alright, fine. I will be there." Jason agreed. He had to attend Home econ as his last subject of the day.

It was a good thing that day was Friday. The boys were planning on hanging out then they also had to attend Kayla's beach party on Sunday.

When the bell rung for school's closure, Jason and his friends walked out of the school building, laughing and discussing while heading out the school gates to catch a bus. They were all average kids except Jason but he didn't like to live like a rich kid as it made him feel out of place.

"I figured that the shortest route to Megan's was the ghost route." Samuel said. They were five in number; Jason, Freddie, Simon, Samuel and Richard.

"You do know that it is called the ghost route for a reason, right?" Richard raised a brow.

"I passed that route yesterday when I was wandering. No one ever knew because they just believe the stupid urban legend of Cemetery Girl being Babayaga that eats children." Samuel rolled his eyes but Jason furrowed his brows in confusion.

"Who is Cemetery Girl?" He inquired.

The rest of the gang paused. It became like a time freeze.

"Wait, you grew up in this town and you tell me that you know nothing about, Cemetery Girl?" Richard yelled, making people around stare at them like they were crazy.

"You don't need to yell like that, Richard. We learn everyday." Jason huffed.

"Well, Cemetery Girl is a girl whom people believe to be the young version of Babayaga but we all know that is not true. She is just a weird nerd who spends time at the city cemetery after school. Her real name is Gwendolen Hallow Ween." Freddie explained.

Jason became curious; "Is that so? I wanna see what she looks like? Is she pretty? Is she ghost-like? Is she..."

"Whoa dude, you need to calm down. I know that you are insinuating that we pass through the ghost route but that won't happen." Simon said like a father that he was not.

"Oh please. Boys take risks. If you cower away in fear, you will just be betraying the brotherhood and automatically declaring yourself a girl." Jason winked, knowing that would get the the boys and he did, successfully without doubt from any.

"Alright then, Jason. how about we make a bet." Simon smirked as though he had won a prize.

Jason sighed internally. Simon with his pointless bets but they were very daring and extreme and that was what Jason feared.

"Alright, out with it." Jason said with a bored look.

"You walk up to Cemetery girl and talk to her." Simon dared and Jason's eyes shrunk till it was almost as if it could be seen no more. All his creatures shrunk back in fear. I mean, Jason was a complex hybrid but only Richard knew that.

"Doesn't this girl have a name?" Jason said nervous and trying to change the topic but the boys sensed it.

"Oh not this time, Jason. You agree to that bet and besides you get to SEE Cemetery Girl." Richard wiggled his brows.

"I wanted that to be at a far distance." Jason defended but the boys wouldn't have it and when they approached the Ghost route, the literally had to push Jason ahead.

It was called the Ghost route because the city cemetery was there and it was forbidden to go there especially at night. The teenagers finally brought up their own theory about Gwendolen being the younger version of Babayaga and started calling her Cemetery girl because she spent time at the Cemetery after school hours.

Approaching the cemetery, fear gripped Jason so tightly but he was doing a good job hiding it or he wouldn't hear it for a year.

There was a big oak tree at a distant part of the cemetery and one could see a pale figure dressed in a silver colored clothing that glittered under the moonlight. Her long white hair cascaded down and she just sat at the foot of the tree, peacefully reading a book.

Jason felt drawn by instinct and soon he found himself, fearlessly moving forward. Fearlessly approaching the girl.

Richard noticed the expression on the face of Jason. He looked spellbound, totally not in control of his own actions. He was a werewolf and that was how he was able to know about Jason's hidden identity. He couldn't say anything or the rest might suspect so they all watched him walk towards her slowly. the others thought he was cautious but Richard knew he was almost not himself any longer.

The girl raised up her head when she felt someone approaching her. She thought it was a ghost or maybe an illusion of her peripheral view but it wasn't. When she looked up, she saw a very handsome guy with shining green eyes looking at her with so much desire in them.

 "Mate." He growled out.
