"Are you two dating?" someone from class 1-A asked.
Miyu just smiled. I panicked.
"I guess we are," she finally said, and that sealed it.
Suddenly, we were the talk of the school. Some were jealous, others teased us. My friends gave me thumbs up behind teachers' backs. Hers giggled every time I walked by.
But when we were alone, nothing felt noisy. Just the quiet sound of our footsteps together.
