"You just need to tell me how it feels—before and after you transform," Krillin said, his eyes fixed on Goku.
"I'm not talking about the obvious stuff—like getting stronger. I mean the subtle feelings, changes in your body, or even your thoughts."
Krillin paused, deep in thought.
He never truly believed that rage was the only way to become a Super Saiyan. If that were the case, then wouldn't Goku, Vegeta, and the others get angry every single time they transformed?
But they didn't.
And then there were Goten and Trunks. Those two young boys managed to transform at an early age—without ever appearing angry.
Sure, people often said they were talented, even prodigies, but Krillin believed there had to be another explanation. Another method—maybe even one the Saiyans themselves weren't consciously aware of.
"Of course, I can do that," Goku replied with a friendly grin. "If you just want to know how it feels when I transform, that's easy."
For Goku, that was a simple task. But teaching someone else how to transform? That was a different story entirely.
"It's not that I don't want to teach you," Goku added, scratching the back of his head. "It's just... I don't know how to teach it. It just kind of… happened for me."
Krillin nodded, understanding the dilemma.
"Alright," he said, clenching his fists with determination. "Then let's get back to training!"
He turned to Whis with excitement sparkling in his eyes. He was curious what kind of training the angel had in store. Training under someone like Whis, who even Beerus respected, was a rare opportunity.
Krillin hadn't trained like this in a while. Despite the pain and hardship training often brought, he actually missed it. It reminded him of the old days—when he trained alongside Goku under Master Roshi.
But before the training could begin, Whis spoke up, as if suddenly remembering something important.
---
"Krillin," Whis said, "didn't you earn hundreds of thousands of points during your last mission?"
"Yes! I did!" Krillin replied quickly.
"In that case," Whis said thoughtfully, "you don't necessarily need to go through intense training. You could use your points to grow stronger instead."
---
Krillin blinked.
"Oh, right! I almost forgot about that," he said, opening the Mall interface immediately.
Sure, he couldn't afford the Super Saiyan transformation yet—it was still too expensive and not even unlocked for him. But that didn't mean there weren't other powerful resources in the Mall.
There were all kinds of energy powers available for purchase—like Qi and God Ki.
The energy that Goku, Vegeta, and the other Saiyans usually used was Qi, while God Ki was used by gods or those who had ascended into divine forms, like Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan Blue.
Originally, raising your Qi took time, training, and persistence. But now? You could just buy it.
Krillin's eyes lit up.
---
"Let's try this out," he said, spending 10,000 points to purchase a small batch of Qi power.
This was just a test. He wanted to see how it worked before committing more points.
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta watched from the side, eyes locked onto Krillin.
They had no points to spend themselves, so they had no choice but to train the traditional way under Whis. But if they did have points? They would've tried this in a heartbeat.
Even Whis and Beerus watched Krillin closely. They were curious—after all, the Mall also contained divine powers like the Power of Destruction and the Power of Angels.
These abilities weren't unlocked yet, but the fact that they were listed suggested that they might become available one day.
Everyone wanted to see what would happen when Krillin used his points to power up.
---
"So, Krillin?" Whis asked. "How do you feel?"
Krillin took a deep breath, focused his energy, and then released a massive burst of aura.
"I feel amazing!" he said with a grin.
"I just spent 10,000 points, and already my Qi has increased noticeably. My strength has definitely improved."
He flared his energy again, showing them the difference. His aura was brighter, more intense, more controlled.
"And the best part is," Krillin continued, "there's no discomfort at all. It feels exactly like I spent years training to reach this level."
---
Krillin had been worried at first.
After all, this was power purchased, not earned. He was afraid his body might reject it or feel out of sync. But no—it felt completely natural, as if he had built it up through sweat and struggle.
His movements were smooth. His energy flow was clean. And his control hadn't diminished at all.
"This is insane," Krillin muttered. "To think that you can gain so much power so easily…"
Encouraged by the results, he decided to go all in.
He dumped another 90,000 points into Qi upgrades, rounding his spending to a total of 100,000 points.
And just like that, his power level exploded.
---
Goku and Vegeta watched in stunned silence.
They could sense the dramatic increase in Krillin's energy.
It still wasn't quite on their level—but the gap had narrowed. And if he continued growing like this, it was entirely possible that he'd catch up to them in the near future.
The rapid progress made them both reevaluate their plans.
They were working hard through traditional training methods, but if earning points and buying strength was faster… was that the better route?
After all, wasn't the goal to become stronger?
Why take the long road when there was now a shortcut?
---
Even Whis and Beerus exchanged glances.
They weren't envious of Krillin's current strength—it was still far below their own—but they were genuinely surprised by the rate of growth.
Krillin had jumped ahead by leaps and bounds in just a few minutes.
This kind of power scaling was something they had rarely seen—especially without transformations or divine blessings.
It made one thing crystal clear: the point system was game-changing.
If someone could accumulate enough points, even ordinary mortals could rise to godlike levels.
---
Beerus crossed his arms and stared at the interface floating in front of Krillin.
"That's… pretty convenient," he said, almost reluctantly.
Whis nodded beside him. "Indeed. If we had access to such a system, we could dramatically increase our strength in a short time—without any additional training."
The angel and the god locked eyes. For a moment, they didn't speak. But something unspoken passed between them.
Determination.
---
If even someone like Krillin could grow this fast through points, what about them?
What would happen if Beerus gained access to Destruction Power enhancements? Or if Whis could boost his already terrifying angelic might?
The two beings who had long thought themselves beyond the mortal struggle for power now found a new motivation.
---
They wanted points.
---
Back in the training area, Krillin was flexing his arms and throwing out practice punches, grinning from ear to ear.
"This is unreal! I feel like I've trained for years—and it only took a few taps!"
"From now on, I'm definitely going to grind for points," he said. "With enough of them, even someone like me can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the big guys!"
Goku clapped him on the back. "Nice work, Krillin! You've really improved!"
Vegeta, arms crossed, simply gave a small nod of acknowledgment—his version of a compliment.
---
Krillin had always been one of Earth's strongest humans.
But now, with Saiyan blood, point-based enhancements, and the guidance of Whis, he had become something far more.
For the first time in a long while, he believed he could catch up.
He could fight alongside Goku and Vegeta—not as the sidekick, not as the backup—but as a true warrior, equal in strength and resolve.
And perhaps, soon…
He'd find his own way to become a Super Saiyan.
