Shadowseal – Auxiliary Volume: World Overview and Lore Guide

AUXILIARY VOLUME — SHADOWSEAL: PRICE OF SIN

A cursed mask that whispers in the dark...

A pact signed in blood with the Devil himself...

And a chosen vessel who must pay the true price of sin.

This is not just a tale of revenge.

It's a descent into madness, temptation, and eternal damnation.

The mask—known as Shadowseal—has passed through many hands across centuries.

But only thirteen were ever truly chosen.

Only thirteen ever became part of the Devil's design.

THE WORLD

The world of Shadowseal sits on the edge of three realms:

Hell, Purgatory, and our own.

Here, nothing is as it seems.

Each task burns a piece of your soul.

Each kill brings you one step closer to the abyss.

And every breath is borrowed from the Devil's will.

THE MASK — SHADOWSEAL

It doesn't grant power. It takes.

It doesn't make you immortal. It binds you.

Once worn, it cannot be removed.

Only the chosen thirteen can carry the Devil's true mission.

And when the thirteenth soul is sealed… the Devil will be reborn.

THE CARRIER (MAIN CHARACTER)

His name is lost. His face is gone.

Now, only the mask remains.

He doesn't speak much. But when he moves, people die.

After each mission, he returns to Hell… and remembers less of who he was.

Tasks are carved into his mind, pain is the only guide.

THE GIRL

She travels with him. Not by chance.

After each kill, he feeds her his blood.

She grows stronger.

The mask has chosen her for something… deeper.

Her lineage is not ordinary.

PAST CARRIERS

Some died. Some survived.

A few still speak through the mask.

And one may be planning something… from the inside.

THE DEVIL

Never seen.

But always heard.

Every command burns like fire in the carrier's brain.

But what if the Devil isn't in control anymore?

THE REAL STORY BEGINS AND DEEPENS FROM CHAPTER 4 ONWARD…

Chapters 1 to 3: a whisper.

Chapter 4: a scream.

If you've made it this far…

The mask is already watching you.

Don't blink. Don't hesitate.

You were never the reader.

You were always the next vessel.
