Aran (voiceover):"This world ended once… and I thought I ended with it."
[The screen suddenly lights up with the official story title] BLACK A: Rise of the Undying
Dark music swells. The title glows in white over black smoke... then fades.
Scene: Unknown Underground Chamber
Beeping machines. Cool blue lights. A clean, secret facility — hidden far from the ruins above.
Aran lies on a medical bed. Bandages around his torso. Machines monitoring his vitals. Then —
His eyes snap open.
Aran (confused, groggy):"...Where... am I?"
He tries to sit up, but pain hits. He clenches his jaw.
Suddenly, two figures rush to his side — Liya and Shaggy.
Shaggy:"ARAN!!"
She throws her arms around him tightly, nearly knocking the breath out of him.
*Liya stands nearby, eyes shimmering with tears. For a moment, her cold fighter face breaks.
Liya (softly):"...We finally found you."
Aran blinks, looking at them — confused but calm now, his mind quickly regaining control.
Aran:"You two... know each other?"
They both pause… glance at each other… and laugh awkwardly.
Shaggy:"No! We met by accident. I was looking for you."
Liya:"...Same. I tracked a signal… and it led me to her."
Aran:"And you fought each other."
Shaggy (rolling her eyes):"Of course we did. I thought she was some bounty hunter sent to kill you."
Liya:"And I thought she was a hostile. We nearly killed each other."
Aran (smirking faintly):"Typical."
Shaggy (grinning):"But then she told me… she's your partner."
Liya:"And she told me she's your sister."
They both look at Aran with intensity.
Liya:"That's when we decided… if we both care about you… we'd find you together."
Aran leans back, eyes closing for a moment. His voice softens.
Aran:"You both found me… at the edge of death."
Shaggy (quietly):"You're not allowed to die. Not yet."
Liya:"Not until we end this virus... together."
Suddenly — the lights flicker.A screen turns on nearby. A symbol appears: a dark serpent wrapped around a broken planet. The symbol of the group behind the outbreak.
A voice crackles through the speaker.
Unknown Voice:"Subject A-01... you're awake. Excellent. We've waited long enough."
Liya:"...They know you're alive."
Aran (eyes cold):"Then it's time we remind them who I am."
