The little ghost girl really helped him a lot.
"Where are we going now, daddy~?" The little ghost girl asked, floating near him.
He didn't lower his guard just because she helped him.
What if all this is her plan?
Only a fool would trust a ghost that looked like a little girl who, in life, must have been at most 7 or 8 years old.

'So, she has a broader mind control and purify ability… Does that make sense? If so, why didn't it work on me or the female ghosts?'
From what little he understood, her ability only worked on male ghosts and didn't work on females.
'The only plausible explanation is that she refuses to use the ability on female ghosts unconsciously, and the same happened with me… But why would she refuse to use it on me?'
With women, he imagined it had something to do with her mother in life.
Another thing: 'This [Purify] ability of hers, how does it work?'
Well, the system wasn't kind enough to reveal that too.

Taking the most normal core from the inventory, but still level 3, he opened the interface with the intention of increasing the inventory slots.
He used the core and then saw it disappear as a new slot was unlocked; he could feel the inventory expanding.
Not satisfied with just that, he took another level 3 core.
'If it's as I imagine, I'll be able to unlock another slot, since I must have 1 point, if it can be seen that way.' He thought.
When he tried, it actually worked!
3 slots unlocked, basically 3 cubic meters.
But everything was lined up horizontally.
'Continue?' After considering, he decided: 'Yes, continue!'
The inventory's advantage was too great to ignore.
He tried with two level 3 cores. Obviously, it didn't work. The cores were consumed, but no slot was unlocked. It would normally take a total of 8 level 1 cores to unlock the fourth slot.
Taking another, almost with his heart bleeding from the pain of losing cores that could make him stronger, Theo used it.
This time, it worked. The fourth slot unlocked vertically, just below the first slot he had unlocked.
'The next one requires reaching 16 'points,' and I already have 1 guaranteed.' Theo thought with pain.

Are you kidding? If she blew on it, it's very possible she'd suck his soul, even if unintentionally!
He wasn't going to tempt fate.
Forcing a smile, Theo said: "I'm going to wash up, wait for me here, okay?"
"Yes~" She waved at him.
A random thought. Why did Theo start thinking that Annabelle was adorable?
