Chapter 13 - Exchanging Blood for Her: The One Who Dares to Rewrite Heavenly Fate

"Heaven writes the fate for all beings... But if there is one who dares to use their own blood to rewrite someone's destiny – then that person... is even more terrifying than heavenly mandate."

Inside the stone cave by the Ice Bone Spring

The refuge after the battle – Lin Mo sat motionless, alone.

On his lap, the Empress was still in a coma. Her breath was weak, her Dao soul gradually shattering, each wisp of living aura dissolving into ash.

Lin Mo remained silent.

No cries. No pleas. No despair.

Just... drawing an old dagger from his sleeve, lightly cutting his own wrist – letting blood drip onto her glabella, drop by drop.

"If you once vowed to defy heaven for me...

Then I, in this life, shall use my own blood,

To rewrite your book of destiny."

One hand he placed on her chest – where her Dao soul was shattered. With the other hand, he drew a blood talisman in the void, called:

"Fate Reversal Script – Life Given in Death."

This was a ritual no one had ever successfully performed. To change someone's fate, the practitioner must accept being erased from the Heavenly Dao, forever unable to enter the cycle of reincarnation.

The moment his blood seeped into her Dao soul, the sky outside exploded with lightning.

An invisible voice, as if from the very laws governing the universe, roared:

"Who dares to change the destiny recorded by Heaven?"

BOOM!!

Heavenly thunder descended.

Lin Mo did not evade. Did not avoid. He knelt, but not to beg for mercy – but to be a Dao pillar, bearing the entire calamity punishment himself, for her.

"This is my blood,

This is my Dao,

And this is my choice."

"If the Dao does not tolerate me...

Then let me rewrite what is called the Heavenly Dao."

In her disintegrating soul, the Empress felt a strange warm flow of blood merging into her heart.

She opened her eyes.

Saw him enduring the thunder calamity for her.

His whole body was tearing apart, blood mixing with ash, skin cracking, breath weakening.

"You're crazy...

Dare to do this for me?"

Her tears fell – for the second time in her life.

As she held his hand, all her ancient memories rushed back.

She saw:

He once stood alone before the entire heavenly realm to save her.

He once severed ties with his master, defied his entire sect, just for the vow: "She alone is enough for me to defy heaven."

In the previous life, she herself – fearing his destruction – offered her Dao soul in exchange for his existence.

Now, he was doing the same.

A cold wind swept through. Ash spun into a vortex.

She stood up – her soul no longer disintegrating, but glowing with a silver-ash light.

The Empress now – was no longer someone who lived only for a vow, but someone who was living... because she herself wanted to protect the person before her.

"You bore the burden for me once.

From now on, let me... bear everything with you."

As she fully revived, a message from the great realm descended:

"The Life-Snatching Ceremony has failed.

The rebellious breaker – has shattered the Heavenly Talisman.

The laws of heaven are temporarily... missing a branch."

Chaos began to spread throughout the realms.

At the end of the chapter, a hidden figure – the Supreme Law Enforcer of the Divine Palace – opened his eyes for the first time:

"You are the first... to dare to rewrite heavenly fate with blood.

But you are also the last."

"Send down the Dao Annihilation Decree – upon him."
