Cherreads

Chapter 1 - Chapter

Warning: This is written by an amateur author; if you don't like boring stuff and cringe comedy, stop now. Seriously, stop now.

A powerful being, also known as the gatekeeper of the tower—Headon.

For the first time in his life, he met an irregular among irregulars. Someone he couldn't read. Upon looking into his insides, all he saw was a bottomless void.

What surprised him wasn't just his presence—it was that he remained indifferent, as if he were looking down on an inferior creature.

"Interesting."

A sly smile formed on his lips, showing his shark-like teeth. His eyes narrowed into crescent-moon shapes, a gleam lit up as he observed his appearance.

A female-looking boy with shoulder-length messy silver hair. He had crimson eyes, giving the impression of an omniscient being who could see through everything. He wore a black windbreaker with a high collar covering his mouth. Underneath, he wore tight black jeans and white sneakers. As his feet sank through the surface, it was caused by the uncontrolled power inside him.

His name is Shinso, a person who once lived on Earth, now finding himself in the fictional world of Tower of God.

Shinso was bored since his favorite manhwa was still on hiatus, so he spent his days arguing with die-hard Rachel fanatics. He kept calling the girl garbage—until a magic circle suddenly appeared, transporting him into this world.

When he opened his eyes, a rabbit-like creature carrying a baton revealed himself. He immediately recognized him—Headon.

'So this world is Tower of God…'

Ding~!

At the same time, a light bell sound echoed in his brain, and a translucent screen appeared—visible only to him.

Congratulations on being chosen!

Your hatred for Rachel is unmatched.

As a transported person, you shouldn't be weak. If you do certain things to Rachel, you will be rewarded appropriately.

Every time you complete a quest, the template process will unlock further. You were truly meant for each other.

Note: You can use Shinsu without forming a contract with the administrators.

Template obtained: Urek Mazino!

Unlocked: 1%

Hiss!

Shinso gasped. He didn't bother trying to comprehend it. 'Do things with Rachel? 'He didn't care what it meant—he was sure it was just about tormenting her and being a hindrance.

Although it was only 1% of Urek Mazino's full power and experience, it was more than enough to deal with top 1000 high-rankers and below top 100.

The sudden release of power made Headon pause. It wasn't a threat to him, but he simply thought Shinso was being cautious.

"My name is Headon, guardian of the lowest floor… Chosen one, I welcome you to the tower."

"..." Shinso was absorbed with his new power. He had completely forgotten about Headon. Still, he had to give him some face—after all, he needed to enter the tower.

[Main Quest]:

Let me in~~!

Pass Headon's test with flying colors and enter the tower.

Reward: Unlock progress +0.1%

"Who are you… Are you the one who called me here? " Shinso asked, pretending to be cautious. He was already accustomed to his template, so he took a fighting stance, showing he was ready to take him on at any time.

"…" Headon was speechless but didn't make a big scene. He still had his role to play.

"I didn't summon you… You opened the gate yourself."

"Oh? Head-on, was it? My name is Shinso. I didn't know I had invaded your home. I apologize."

"…" Although Shinso said he was sorry, it was only a formality. His words didn't carry any weight—they were hollow.

"Ahem, don't worry about it. The tower wouldn't just let anyone enter… Everyone has something they desire, and you're no different." Headon started his classic speech, but Shinso's expression remained stoic.

"What do you desire, Shinso?

Money?

Glory?

Power?

Revenge?

Or something that surpasses all others?

What you desire—that is here!

You can find it at the top of the tower.

Tell me—what do you desire? "

"My desire…" Shinso pondered for a moment.

Ever since he read Tower of God, he wished to enter the tower and reach the top. Now that he had been given the chance, he wouldn't let it slide.

Headon paid close attention to his words.

"All I wanted… was to have BABIES!"

Headon: "…"

In order to enter the Tower, Shinso needed to pass the test. Headon took him on-site by opening a portal. They warped into a large, obscure room that resembled a massive prison. Instead of solid walls, there were only bars—and behind them, giant fish-like monsters were trapped inside.

Shinso's crimson eyes darted around like an annoying fly, scanning the surroundings. His gaze landed on two people not far away who appeared to be arguing. The woman noticed his stare and rushed toward him.

Although he couldn't understand their language, he recognized them instantly.

'Yuri Zahard and her dwarf guide, Evan Edrok.'

Yuri Zahard—also known as Yuri Ha Zahard—was a descendant of the Ha Clan, one of the Ten Great Families, and a Princess of Zahard. She was also the wielder of one of the 13 Month Series: the Black March.

As for her appearance, she had long black hair tied into a ponytail with a red ribbon shaped into seven leaf-like strands. She wore a striking outfit: a white blazer over a black collared shirt fastened with a red necktie. It matched well with her pleated, knee-length red skirt. Her snow-white, slender legs were covered by black leggings, and like him, she wore white sneakers.

Then there was Evan. He had short, silver-gray hair, and his silver eyes studied Shinso meticulously as he walked behind the princess. He wore a military-style outfit: a long-sleeved collared shirt with two breast pockets tucked into dark trousers. His boots were military-grade and extended up to his ankles. What stood out most was the dark bag slung across his back.

Yuri rested one arm on her arched hip and rubbed her chin with the other. She was taller than Shinso, so while he had to look up, she looked down at him.

"..." (Oy, look here, cutie!)

"..." (...Why aren't you responding?)

"..."

Both of them only stared at each other. Shinso, of course, couldn't understand her words, but he had a vague idea of what she was trying to say.

Yuri twisted her head toward Headon, clearly annoyed.

"Hey, Headon, did you give him a Pocket?"

"Ahh, now that you mention it... I forgot," Headon replied with a sly smile.

"Forgot?" she repeated, one eyebrow arching involuntarily. "Aren't you the most veteran being in this Tower? Or perhaps..."

She narrowed her eyes. "You intentionally didn't give him one?"

Still smiling, Headon gave a casual shrug.

"I couldn't possibly. Even as a veteran, I often forget things. I just sent another one earlier."
