Chapter 2 - What the hell is going on here?

The room had the quiet elegance of old Japan. Wooden floors gleamed under soft light, and two men sat properly on their knees at a low table. Steam rose gently from their tea cups, filling the air with a peaceful scent.

"Eugene, things aren't going according to plan," the older man said. His pink hair was styled perfectly, but worry lines showed around his eyes. "Workers are falling fast. Even Club Vivi is gone. I've tried to get help, but Charles Choi is making everything harder."

He lifted his tea cup with steady hands, though his eyes never left the young boy across from him. Eugene looked too young to be in this kind of meeting, but his glasses and calm expression showed he belonged here.

"Mr. Lee, I'm doing my best too," Eugene said, adjusting his glasses. "This group is stronger than we thought. But I haven't used everything yet. I still have plans I haven't put together."

Eugene spoke like someone much older. His voice was quiet but confident, like he was used to people listening when he talked.

James Lee set his cup down with a soft click that seemed loud in the quiet room. "There's something else, Eugene. A new player just arrived in Seoul. His identity is dangerous. He might be more of a threat than Charles Choi himself."

He paused, letting the words sink in. "From what I've heard, he has enough power to wipe us out whenever he wants."

Eugene didn't answer right away. Instead, he stared into his tea cup like he was reading something in the dark liquid. This was what he always did when thinking hard - studying something small while his mind worked on bigger problems.

The silence stretched between them until Eugene finally looked up.

"I'll gather my group and go meet him," Eugene said, making his decision. "I'll call White Tiger Job Center on the way. After I see him, I'll know if he's useful as an ally or dangerous to our plans."

He finished his tea in one last sip.

"He should be at Gimpo Airport by now," James Lee said. "No matter what you do, don't make him angry. He controls almost every syndicate in Japan."

James also finished his tea, the cup making a quiet sound as he set it down.

Eugene stood up and walked toward the door. "Well then, I'll have to welcome him to Seoul properly."

The door slid shut behind him, leaving James Lee alone in the quiet room.

James waited a few moments, making sure Eugene was really gone. Then he pulled out his phone and made a call.

"Yes, Kitae. A very interesting person just showed up. It would be good if you came to see him. He could be useful to our plans."

"Is that so?" The voice on the other end sounded curious. "Well, I won't be available for two months."

"That's fine. I can try to keep him here until then," James said, closing his eyes.

"And how are things with that little problem? Got rid of him yet?" The voice asked with clear annoyance.

James chuckled softly. "Yes, I believe he'll be finished tonight. And if he somehow survives, he won't have the strength to get back up after we're done with him."

The person on the phone laughed. "Good. We'll see each other in two months then."

The line went dead. James put his phone away and stood up from the floor.

"Eugene, Eugene. You've done well," he said to the empty room.

At Gimpo Airport, the figure from the plane now stood before the Taesan members. His eyes moved across them slowly, like he was deciding which toys to play with.

"Oyama Ryugasaki," the figure said, bowing slightly. His voice was calm but had power behind it, like thunder in the distance.

"Oh, Seru, you're being too formal," Dokyung Baek said, waving his hand. "Haven't we been together for years? Have you forgotten the time we spent taking down other syndicates in Japan?"

"Of course I remember, Dokyung," Seru said with a small laugh. Despite his calm voice that seemed to hide storms, he had the face of a movie star and acted completely relaxed. "Those were moments I wish I could live again."

The two men laughed together, but everyone else around them looked scared. They couldn't believe how easily these two talked about killing people. Some of the Taesan members were shocked to learn their director used to be a killer.

"Welcome to Seoul, Seru," Dokyung said, pointing toward a long black car parked nearby.

Just then, another car pulled up fast. A young man got out, tattoos covering his arms and dark glasses hiding his eyes.

"Who the hell let them through?" Dokyung asked angrily, glaring at Gun like he wanted to kill him.

Gun ignored the angry stare and walked straight through the crowd of Taesan members. He stopped right in front of Seru, and the two men looked at each other for a long moment. Then Gun bowed deeply.

"Welcome, Gensho no-akuma!"

Suddenly, three more cars arrived quickly, their tires squealing as they stopped. More figures got out and started walking toward the group.

"What the hell is going on here?" Dokyung Baek demanded, staring at the new cars with anger and confusion. The airport was turning into something much bigger than he had planned.
