Mr. Su Bai had no idea how long he had been asleep, but when he slowly opened his eyes, it was already late at night. There was a digital clock in Monk's bedroom displaying the date.
"I've been asleep for two days and nights…"
Mr. Su Bai was somewhat surprised, and he was still wrapped in the same bath towel. Clearly, the fat guy had not disturbed his rest and recovery.
Standing up, Mr. Su Bai felt his previously weak body and listless spirit had recovered considerably, though not yet back to his prime but at least he had broken free from the frail state he was in at the train station. He felt some strength returning to his body.
As he left Monk's bedroom, Mr. Su Bai saw the little one snuggled up asleep with Lucky in his own bedroom. He didn't disturb them, instead, he went to the living room by himself.
