Re:Zero: The Path of Pride

Ethan Caldwell was a recent high school graduate with no real direction, just a steady loop of video games, sleep, and the occasional guilty study session as he waited for Summer to end, and the College grind to begin. It was supposed to be another lazy, uneventful day. Until the world ended beneath his seat and he found himself falling ass first into a dirty alleyway. Now in a foreign land, Ethan finds himself caught between fate and something far stranger. A mysterious black box marks him, whispers of Authority stir in the shadows, and his very existence catches the eye of knights, cultists, and monsters alike. He had complained of a boring existence, but was this what he wanted? Will Ethan rise above the madness that consumes this world, or will he drown beneath the weight of a pride not entirely his own? ~~~~Author Note!~~~~~ This is my first time writing anything that wasn't meant as a school assignment. I understand that I've made mistakes, and the entire purpose of this fanfic is to help me improve as a writer and for me to have fun. Major inspiration, and slight copy of abilities from: The King of Pride. Just a power. Not the story. OC, minor AU (this is for my fuck-ups and fun), and massively First Person Perspective. I've seen some people say they hate that, so just a heads-up. There's going to be slight romance in this, just cause I'm having fun. I'll try not to overdo it since I lack experience in writing in general, but meh. Also... (#NO-HAREM CLUB) p.s. I stole the image of the cover from Witch Cult Translations. If they want that taken down, I'm more than happy to. Just thought the image looked cool. Source: https://witchculttranslation.com/2019/02/21/arc-5-chapter-56-signing-of-a-divorce/

Seraphina's Revenge: A Rebirth In The Apocalypse Novel

In a world unraveling from environmental collapse and government secrets, Seraphina is just trying to survive. She lives alone in a frozen wasteland—hidden in a cabin buried beneath snow and silence—where the air is sharp, the land is dying, and no one knows what she really is. The ice comes first. Then the heatwaves. Then the tsunamis. And finally, the infected—zombies mutated by a vaccine that was never supposed to reach her country. But someone smuggled it in. And now the apocalypse has arrived. As society crumbles around her, Seraphina becomes part of a survival group trying to navigate the chaos. But something is wrong. She doesn’t get sick. She doesn’t bleed right. And no one has ever seen her eat. Beneath her skin, a mutation stirs—one that makes her stronger, faster, and terrifyingly hard to kill. She told them she was just lucky. She lied. When a betrayal exposes her secret, Seraphina is captured and dragged to the Arctic Circle—where a hidden government wants to study her, replicate her, and turn her into the future of humanity. But Seraphina has survived cages before. She’s not a miracle. She’s a weapon. And this time, she’s not escaping alone. This is a story of survival, mutation, betrayal, and found family—set in a brutal, post-apocalyptic world where the greatest threat isn’t the zombies or the weather… It’s the girl who was never supposed to survive. All Scum Heroes Must Die

Nathan Beck was never meant to be a hero. Life chewed him up, spat him out, and left him hollow. A ghost in his own skin, haunted by grief and disillusionment. But death offered him something else: A new viewpoint. And a question no one else was asking. Now reborn as Hidesuke Shinohara, a forgotten, F-tier “hero” in the digital world of Arc Zenith, he's granted an ominous, forbidden power: The Final Verdict System. It doesn’t hand out points. It doesn’t reward popularity. It exists for one reason alone: To pass judgment on the heroes who think they’re untouchable. In a world where saviors wear pretentious masks and villains are manufactured scapegoats, Hidesuke becomes the razor’s edge between false light and true shadow. As he climbs the twisted hierarchy of power, surveillance, and illusion, his blade becomes justice. As he hunts them one by one, his judgement zones carve truth into lies. Every sentence burns a legacy. Every sin carries a weight. And real justice finally gets a voice. - - - - - - - The alley was soaked, wall to wall with blood and rain. C-tier Hero "Rot" slammed Hidesuke through a rusted vent, sending shards of metal skittering across the floor. “You don’t get to judge me, you fucker!” he roared, face littered with ugly wounds and eyes wide with fury. Hidesuke coughed, blood in his teeth, and pushed himself up. “Thirty-five victims,” he rasped. “How many more must go down in silence before you feel any remorse?” Rot surged forward again, his palm bursting with hydroforce. Hidesuke didn't dodge. All conditions were met. It was time to end this. > “I bear witness.” Then the world around them split in half. Light scorched the pavement as the Judgment Zone warped reality, replacing every structure within the radius. The rain stopped midair. Sound bent in place. Everything froze except Hidesuke—and Rot, now locked inside with him. > “Violation of Article Nine.” > “You turned their lungs into breeding sites for your filthy worms.” Rot screamed, lunging again. But the chains found him first, wrapping around his legs, arms, throat. They hissed against his skin, burning through his armor and piercing his flesh. > “Sin Weight: 46.” > “Victim Count: 35.” > “Verdict confirmed.” Hidesuke walked toward him, limping slightly, voice steady. > “They desperately begged you for air. Yet you used them like lifeless objects.” > “Let this be your last breath.” His hand closed around the final seal. The glyphs flared red—then white. Veil didn’t get a last word. - - - - - - - [ ! ] If you've been looking for a story with a unique plot and background, congrats you've found the one. Don't waste any more time. Dive right in... p.s. try not to drown. [ ! ] The first few chapters are evenly-paced and mostly of slice-of-life. The system doesn't make a real appearance until a little later, after a condition is met. [ ! ] Discord server dropping soon.
