In a safehouse near by, Mandragora sits at table with a devilish smile on his face. A detective in front of him gets annoyed by this.
"Listen Mr. Mandragora, if you want immunity from prosecution, I suggest you give us names, and fast."
Mandragora chuckles.
"Forgive me, detective. But you can't blame me for being- hesitant, I have enemies everywhere. Besides, I am absolutely ravished by hunger, feed me and perhaps I'll squeal on all matter of former associates." Mandragora says with a grin.
The detective grits his teeth, but slowly calms himself down. He then stands up from his chair.
"Someone give our guest a menu." The detective says as he walks away.
Meanwhile, Aaron is in the corner of the room talking to Dick, who is hiding in a tree next to the safe house.
"Huntress is trying to kill Mandragora? You slept with her last night?" Aaron whispers.
"Yes, and three times. And I know it's not the right time, but thanks for telling me Barbara was gonna stop by this morning." Dick says, looking out for Helena.
"We need a plan, the guys here won't stand a chance against her." Aaron says.
"That's why I'm here. I'll just keep her busy, long enough for Mandragora to talk and you guys get him far away from here."
"Yeah, just one problem, Mandragora isn't talking. I think he's stalling."
Dick let's out a sigh.
"Yet another thing we'll have to watch out for."
Nightwing then notices someone jumping over the fence, into the yard.
"Hey, I'll call you back."
Dick hangs up and jumps infront of Huntress.
"Sorry, but this is an invite only kind of event." Dick tells her.
Helena quickly aims her crossbow at Dicks face.
"I have one right here." She tells him.
The two have an intense stand off.
"Move. Now." She demands.
"You wanna get inside? Shoot me." Dick says.
Huntress is prepared to shoot, but her hand begins to shake uncontrollably. She then puts down the bow.
"Damn you."
She then punches Nightwing in the face. She goes for another punch and a round house kick, but Dick dodges them both. Huntress swings at him again, but Dick catches the punch, flips her over, and pins her to the ground.
"You're protecting a murderer!" an angry Huntress yells.
"I'm protecting you from doing something that you'll regret! Killing Mandragora won't make up for whatever he did to you!" Dick argues.
"But it'll make me feel better!"
Huntress kicks Nightwing in the head, breaking his grip on her. She then kips up and goes for a leg sweep, but Dick backflips to avoid it. Huntress runs towards the house, but Dick grabs her cape and pulls her back, right into his arms as he holds her back.
"Say that you do kill him. What then? Run from the cops? The mob? And me?" Dick asks.
"I- don't- care!"
Helena headbutts Dick in the face and elbows him in the gut. She then goes for a sidekick, but Nightwing catches her leg and throws her into a car. Dick stands over the fallen Huntress as she stares at him with anger in her eyes.
"But I do." Dick tells her.
Meanwhile inside the house, Mandragora hears something upstairs.
"What was that?" He asks
"Probably just the floorboards or something." The detective says.
"Go check it out. Now!" The crime boss demands.
The detective sighs and signals for one of his men to go upstairs and check it out. A few minutes later, the officer comes tumbling down with a knife in his chest. Two men then walk down with matching grins.
"Evening gentlemen." One of the men says.
As the detective reaches for his gun, Mandragora wraps his giant hand around the back of his head and squeezes until he pops it, with a smile and blood on his face. The two men pull out their guns and open fire on Aaron, who quickly runs and jumps for cover in the kitchen. He draws his gun and shoot back, but he is out gunned.
Dick hears the gun fire and runs towards the house. He kicks down the door and sees no one but Aaron, who has been shot in the leg. He quickly runs into the kitchen, grabs a towel and puts pressure on the wound.
"What happened?" Dick asks.
"Mandragora played us. He's gone, man."
As Dick looks around, he sees Huntress at the doorway, conflicted on what he should do.
