Katie Hades gave a self-deprecating smile, feeling a bit perplexed. Why on earth was she zoning out thinking about a man!?
She shook her head and looked at the two blonde foreign men sitting on the sofa opposite her. They were both quite young, not over thirty, with decent looks and tall builds. Their expressions seemed extremely friendly and were not lecherous like some of the men around.
"Ladies, would you do us the honor of letting us buy you a drink?" one of the men said in English, his face full of sincerity.
Without a word from Katie, Donna immediately responded, "OK, we'll both have Whiskey on the rocks!"
After speaking, she leaned close to Katie's ear and chuckled softly, "…These two are quite nice, good-looking with a decent presence. Are you interested in taking one home tonight?"
Katie remained silent; she emptied her glass of Whiskey in one gulp and put down the glass with such force that it made a loud noise on the glass table.
