Upon entering the bar, the dim flickering lights and the blasting rock music immediately made Katie Hades frown.
However, she remained silent for just a moment before her expression returned to normal, and she continued walking inside.
The waitress led them to a spot in the corner, with a sofa and a glass table facing them, simple yet exquisite. They ordered some drinks and, once everything was served, they started drinking face to face.
"How do you like the ambiance?" Donna asked, lighting a cigarette and surveying the spacious bar hall. It was crowded, especially the dance floor in the distance, where people were pressed against each other, many men and women locked in embrace, dancing intimately, lost in their own world.
