Kojin sat alone in his office, the chaos weighing heavily on his shoulders. His fingers hovered over the communication panel before he finally sent out an urgent order: "The city has been invaded. All soldiers, mobilize and respond immediately. Full time soldiers or not. All soldiers should go on to fight! Now! That's an order!"
At the military base, the soldiers received the transmission and leapt into action, arming themselves with their gears and preparing for deployment. One soldier asked with annoyance "What problem could it be this time?", the other soldier replied "Obviously, criminal attack." Before any solidier could fully move out, the ground shook—and without warning, a colossal sword made entirely of chains came hurtling through the air, slicing and stabbing through a large number of soldiers with one brutal sweep.
"Where the hell did that come from?!" one of the soldiers shouted, shocked.
Kirihai stepped forward from the shadows, kunai in hand and eyes calm. "Sorry for the sudden visit," she said with a subtle smirk, "but I'm going to need all of you to stay right here."
One of the soldiers, acting on instinct, raised his blade, cloacked it with energy and fired a slash at her. Before the slash could even graze her, Kirihai vanished with blinding speed. She reappeared in front of him, her kunai slicing clean through his neck. The soldier collapsed without a sound.
The rest of the soldiers, now shocked, retaliated. They all threw themselves at Kirihai. "GET HER!" "KILL HER!" "BREAK HER APART!" They all exclaimed. Kirihai just smirked as the soliders were charging towards her "Now, let's have fun. Shall we?"
High above the city, Sughi and Tomoa were locked in a high-speed aerial battle with Sorata. The sky split with each blast of energy that was a result of their clash.
Tomoa hurled destructive orbs one after another while Sughi transformed his robotic arm into a rapid-fire machine gun, unleashing a torrent of bullets. Sorata weaved through the barrage as fast as he could while slicing through them with slashes of his destructive energy.
Then, with a sudden flick of his hand, Sorata unleashed a rapid stream of purple destructive energy In the shape of bullets. Each blast shook the sky. Sughi and Tomoa dodged furiously, but they were struggling to keep up. "Are you serious?" Sughi exclaimed in shock "He's been dodging, blasting and countering everyone of out attacks. Only a few had hit him. But then, this guy's just smirking and pushing through the pain like nothing!"
In a flash, Sorata closed the distance and launched a devastating wave of destructive energy, vaporizing a large portion of the city below. His wace of energy overtook sughi and Tomoa. This clash caused a devastating explosion in the air and on ground. Tomoa was on the ground trying to stand up. He had burn injuries and his clothes were battered.
"If that's your full strength," sorata sneered, "then it's embarrassing. How can someone like you who was raised by kojin, taken in like his own son, get beaten so easily?!"
Before Tomoa could respond, a sharp light arrow flew toward him—barely missing. Zora emerged, calm and resolute.
"You're facing me now," he declared. "Get ready.", Sorata turned to Zora "Hey, don't take away my prey like that. Find some soldiers to kill or something." Zora replied "Easier said than done!"
Elsewhere, deep in the forest, Deo clashed violently with Zakia. The air around them exploded with each missile Zakia fired, forcing Deo to dodge with everything he had. Zakia appeared in front of him "HOW LONG DO YOU INTEND TO KEEP DODGING!" He exclaimed grinning as he delivered a crushing kick that launched Deo through several trees. "DAMN! THAT HIT HARD!" Deo exclaimed as he managed to block the powerful kick whilst being sent flying accross trees.
Before Deo could recover, Zakia was on him again, pummeling him with blinding speed. Deo crashed to the ground but still trying to block. Zakia grinned, jumped up and unleashed a swarm of missiles.
Deo quickly transformed his robotic arm into a blaster and fired a massive energy beam, wiping out the incoming missiles in one go. The recoil was so intense that his blaster reverted into a smoldering watch, smoke rising from it."Huh? You can't be serious!" Deo exclaimed in shock.
"Is that all you've got?" Zakia mocked while charging at deo.
Deo stood, panting, but defiant. "I'm just getting started."
His watch began to pulse with a vivid blue energy. Power surged over his body like a raging storm. Even he questioned whether the device could handle it "So much stress. My nano tech watch would break if care isn't taken!"
Zakia only laughed. "Without that toy, you're nothing."
"Now those are fighting words right there" Deo said. Then, at the speed almost as fast as lightning, he charged forward towards his opponent.
Meanwhile, on the road to rescue Kinto, Mori, Son, and Baraka advanced cautiously. Suddenly, Mori stopped.
"Hold up," he said. "Something's coming. It's sharp and hot!". Son was confused for a moment "Sharp and hot..? NO FUCKING WAY!" He exclaimed.
A laser beam shot down from above, aimed at Mori. But Son stepped forward, summoning an intense flame into his leg, summersaulted and kicked the bean away into some trees.
"I know that attack," Son growled with visible annoyance.
Jason descended from the sky at top speed and slammed a punch into Son's chest, launching him through a cluster of trees.
"It's been a while. SON TAKAHAMA!!," Jason exclaimed with joy.
Kinto turned and yelled "Son?!"
Son emerged from the wreckage, nose bleeding. "I'm fine."
"I'll handle this one," Mori offered.
"No," Son insisted. "This one's mine." He had a deranged smile on his face "In truth.... I ALWAYS WANTED A REMATCH WITH THIS BASTARD SINCE THE BATTLE OF DOMAINS! JASON IS MINE!"
Jason's smile grew. "So nice of you to remember me."
"You're with the Dark Sign, aren't you?" Son spat.
Kinto stepped forward. "Can you take him?"
Son nodded. "I'll be just fine."
Kinto exchanged uneasy glances with Mori and Baraka, and the three of them moved on. Mori muttered, "I've got a bad feeling."
"Same here," Baraka added.
Kinto's thoughts drifted to Alex. "Please be okay..."
Near the outskirts of the city, within a secluded valley, Alex was moving at incredible speed, flash-stepping around Shinki and throwing powerful blows.
Shinki effortlessly dodged every strike. "You done yet?" he taunted.
Alex suddenly appeared behind him and brought down the Blade of Death, aiming for a decisive strike. But Shinki caught it with just one finger.
"If this is your best," he said, unimpressed, "should I pity you or hold back?"
He slapped the blade away and punched Alex hard, dragging his head against the valley walls and launching him across several hills. Alex lay still on the ground. "AHHH SHIT THAT HURT!" Alex groaned.
"Get up if you're done lying down," Shinki said, approaching.
But then—his eyes narrowed.
It was a doll.
Alex burst from underground, the Blade of Death now glowing brighter and stronger. He slashed at Shinki again, forcing a clash. As they struggled, the blade's color shifted from red to orange.
Shinki raised an eyebrow. "Impressive. Seems you're pouring more power into it. The color shift... red to orange… means it's getting stronger. Impressive."
Alex gritted his teeth. "I'm calling it… the Ultra Blade of Death!"
"Catchy," Shinki mocked.
But then, once again, he slapped it away like it was nothing. Alex was shocked and confused at the same time "Damn it! Again?!"
Summoning a deadly move, Shinki formed the Spirit Spear, it was a move made from red energy and was in the shape of a spear. He blasted a hole clean through Alex's chest. "HUH?!" Alex exclaimed in his mind as he slowly dropped to the floor "What the...? Was that an attack? It was too instantaneous. I'm cold. What the fuck is going in?!"
After a few moments, Shinki approached Alex's motionless body. "I didn't kill you… not yet. I just blasted a hole through you. I missed your vitals, so you should be knocked our for a while."
But as he reached down, Alex's body began to twitch. A surge of black and red energy exploded from within him. His eyes turned black, his teeth sharpened, and nails grew into claws. The energy was pushing him upwards, with his white hair turned into spikey red hair.
The entire valley began to tremble as the overwhelming energy burst forth.
Shinki let out a long sigh. "Kids these days… always so out of control." Alex let's out a huge roar of rage with his demonic energy crackling all over the place.
