In the valley, Alex stood in his demonic state—red hair blazing like fire, black eyes glowing with malice, and crackles of reddish-dark energy streaking across his body l, along side a massive burst of demonic energy going berserk. Alex started to run around, his movements blurred with speed as he started to launch rpid flash fists at Shinki, who calmly dodged each strike with ease. "Hm, getting faster and stronger i see, i like that. But It doesn't matter how fast or strong you are right now," Shinki said effortlessly while dodging alex who was flash-stepping all over the place while throwing flash fists at him, his voice composed. "As long as there's a gap between us... you can't win. And in my case, there's a significant gap in power between us.!"
In a split second, Alex flash-stepped behind him, his hand gripping Shinki's head. With a roar, he dragged him across the valley, tearing through hills like paper. Midway through the chaos, Alex hurled Shinki into the sky, then vanished and reappeared above him, slamming his glowing energy fist into Shinki's body and sending him crashing to the ground with full force.
A cloud of dust and debris rose into the air.
As it cleared, Shinki's sharp eyes spotted dozens of Blades of Death slicing through the air toward him at lightning speed "Hm." Shinki scoffed. With one swift strike of his sword, he deflected them all, Shinki's deflection also sent alex flying with a violent breeze, but alex was able to easily get his balance back.
Before shinki could recover, Alex appeared behind him with another blade in hand, ready to end it. "Ohh? Nice trick." Shinki commended alex with a little bit of amusement and respect.
Without even looking, Shinki sidestepped, dodged the attack, and slammed Alex straight through multiple hills with one kick. Alex was just bashing through multiple hills and walls non stop "What the...? He did that.... with just one kick?" Alex crashed into one final hill before everything came falling down on him.
Buried in rubble, Alex groaned, trying to push himself back up. Shinki walked toward him, calm and dominant.
"I've been playing with you this whole time. Not because i feel you're weak or anything, its just that i don't feel the need to straight up hurt a kid. But orders are orders tho." Shinki said, brushing dust off his clothes. "I was ordered not to fight seriously... so I wouldn't kill you. The only reason I let you land a few hits—was to see what you were capable of. And to be honest, you're quite capable of so many things. It's a shame lord unkina is going to kill you at the end of it all tho. Really sad.
Alex chuckled weakly, blood on his lips. "I know you and your dumbass organization are after my demonic powers. I did some digging... turns out the demon clan was wiped out. I'm the only one left. That's a sad story if i do say so myself"
He lifted his head, a defiant smile on his face.
"And if I'm the last surviving member... then why the hell would I give up? I can start things all over, achieve things no other demon ever has. I can turn this power into something great. Something that would make people shake in their pants when they see my power in action. That's why... I WONT GIVE UP!"
Shinki started to nodd with approval "Hm, understandable, that's something I really respect of a kid. But still, whatever your motives are... it will all end in agony.". Alex was a bit confused tho "Why the heck were you even agreeing with my ideals in the first place?" He thought to himself with annoyance
Alex narrowed his eyes. "You sure about that? You're pretty damn strong, but yet, you could easily put ne to sleep and straight up take me to your hide out or whatever. Could it be... you're hesitant to let me get killed?". Shinki clicked his tounge with slight annoyance "Tch, damn kid.!"
Suddenly, Shinki groaned in pain, clutching his head as a strange mark began glowing on his hand "Huh? A mark?" He asked himself. From afar, a blur dashed through the valley like a comet.
BOOM!
Kazuki, engulfed in purple flames, appeared behind Shinki and unleashed a massive blast, engulfing the area in a deadly inferno.
From the smoke, Alex burst out, grinning. "Took your sweet damn time. Like seriously, what took you so long? You purple haired idiot."
Kazuki smirked. "Is that how you thank your rescuers? You white haired idiot. Either way, sorry i came late. I Got caught up in some crazy stuff on the way here.!"
—Meanwhile—
On the other side of the battlefield, Son was blazing with an overwhelming amount of flame. His body moved like a blur, launching fireballs in rapid succession toward Jason, who countered with a sword made of lasers, deflecting each flame burst as fast as he could. "COME ON! COME ON! COME ON! IS THAT ALL YOU GOF?!" He exclaimed with excitement.
But Son suddenly speed-blitzed him.
With flaming fists, Son pummeled Jason "Damn it man, you talk too much!", sōn exclaimed. He then unleashed a colossal blast that incinerated a large part of the forest forest in a flash.
As the smoke cleared, Son staggered back, breathing heavily.
"I... I actually won...? That's a bit too good to be true."
But a cold voice echoed behind him.
"Too good to be true. I agree."
Son turned back in shock.
Jason, bloodied with burn injuries but grinning, fired a devastating laser blast through Son's abdomen "DIE!", he yelled. The impact obliterated the area around them.
Son was in shock, hebcollapsed, a gaping hole in his stomach. "What the?! How? So fast?! I couldn't even preview it untime!"
Jason laughed maniacally as Sōn dropped on the floor. "Finally! I win! How does it feel to be on the ground, dying? What a shame we won't get to play again. Now you can feel it! The shameful look of the people around you looking down on you because they thought highly of you! Do you feel it? Well?!"
He summoned a massive spear of red light.
"This is my ultimate move. You'll be the first to feel its full power. Get blasted and turned to ash!!"
Lying broken, Son's mind drifted. He remembered his father, Kojin, once telling him:
"Hey sōn, let me tell you something. Never look weak, no matter the situation. Even if you're about to die, look strong—terrify them. Pull off something so insane that your lose wouldn't even matter at all. Do you hear me?"
Then his brother, Saito, came to mind—purple-haired and thirteen at the time.
"We'll be strong, you and me. One day, we'll stand above everyone else. No matter what! That's the goal ive set for myself. And if i cant win, I'll just go out in a Blaze of glory."
Son's while broken thought to himself "Ahh. That's right. Saito and i.... wanted to be strong. Dad also told me..... TO TERRIFY MY ENEMIES!!" Bursting from his body was a huge amount of flames forming a flaming armor around him. He slowly stood up with his flanes melting the ground and burning everything around him. The hole still on his chest.
Jason scoffed with a smirk "Not giving up i see. Fine then! Die!"
Jason hurled his ultimate attack flying towards sōn at an insane speed.
But Son didn't flinch, his facial expression was unpredictable.
With a simple motion, sōn punched the attack away like it was nothing. Thus attack flew to another side of the forest and blew everything into ashes.
Jason's eyes widened. "H-How did you...?!"
Son glared at him with rage and insaity in his eyes. "I'm going to burn you so bad, there won't be a trace of you left—not even ashes. NOT EVEN DUST!!"
Jason, in a panic, began firing more lasers. "I'll be the one to do that first!!"
Son launched forward at such speed that the ground behind him burned with each step. Dodging Jason's beams effortlessly as they were causing huge explosions in the forest. Sōn closed the distance.
Jason was shocked, he tried to counter with a massive laser blast, but Son formed a flaming fist and just grabbed the attack as the attack split apart and destroyed the surrounding trees.
Jason's shock was short-lived as Son punched him with a fiery explosion that caused an explosion of flames. "How....? This doesn't make sense?" Jason exclaimed with annoyance and anger in his voice as he was blasted by sōn's powerful blazing punch.
Jason hit the ground, chest seared and body trembling. "AHHH! This.....This doesn't make sense at all....". He raised his face up only to be shocked to see sōn floating in mid air with his armour of flames.
Floating in midair, Son formed a giant fireball—then compressed it into a small, glowing orb.
"I'll call this move... Drop Bomb." He muttered to himself in his unstable state of mind.
He let it fall. Jason saw the orb of flames fall and everything else around him In slow motion
The moment it hit, a cataclysmic explosion erupted, leaving a massive crater and vaporizing the entire forest. "No... this.... THIS ISN'T HOW I WANTED IT ALL TOO END!" Jason thought to himself with a depressed smile as the explosion of flames overtook him.
When the smoke cleared, Jason was burned beyond recognition. His hair was tatered and burned up, he still had his human shape, but his body was burned badly that he didn't have a face anymore.
Son's flaming armor faded.
He hovered for a moment before he ollapsed to the ground from about a hundred feet from the air. His body had overheated, his skin was almost like an open wound.
A hole still in his chest.
