Chapter 365 - Chapter 365: Aloha Oe, Part 1

A cacophony of howls came as the Umibozu adopted more and more eyes on its body. It thrashes about, swinging its arms around, the water in the area quickly bending to its whim as if it was the moon itself. Waves crashed against the Walking City, pushing it back again and again, hands being made to elevate it at an angle where it cannot walk properly, all to shove the beast into the thick wall of water and cut them down with its pressure. The people within Khepros tried to stop such a wall, with some Ice Magic made to solidify the wall, as well as some Wind Magic to push them away just enough for the ice to form. Despite such a problem being solved, allowing the Scarab to properly scale up, it faces another, as it was threatened to be crushed underneath the crashing waves. The boys tried to leave from the Umibozu, but they would be quick to catch on, the spirits of the departed souls from the water quickly coming out of such depths, taking an aquatic form, closing in and acting as a personal barricade against them.

Fwoosh!

From the group's sides, they would notice the two parents that pestered the Sea Monk alongside the Card Magician. They'd be quick in zipping across the air, with Limosa shaping herself like an arrow as she cuts through the rain, whilst Ichabon would keep himself standing, slowly retaining his form as he lets the city phase through them. The Umibozu desperately tried to stop them, raising their hands in order to attack with its final gambit, aiming to strike at Khepros before they could reach. Harvard, however, would cast a spell to cut the distance, reaching him around just under the chin of the Sea Monk, defusing himself to summon forth Bahamut and have it ram straight through the watery beast's neck, pushing its head up further, as the boy cast forth another seal and a potion to regain his lost energy, feeling his body succumbing to such weariness after such a makeshift army raining down upon the figure.

Meanwhile, the couple would go through the entire city to find their home, untouched by anyone else. The assailant, however, had other plans, shots upon shots to shoot them down, disregarding the Sea Monk in its entirety. Limosa simply shifted her gaze to catch who was the one responsible for the attempted assassinations: A Demon. Short and gangly, based on its arms, a red raincoat with two depictions of eyes embedded on the hood. A curled spike was made around its finger, hollowing out on the base of the cone so that it can shoot it like a sniper bullet. "Spike Magic. He must've also masked it with the storm to get the drop on us, my Dear." She'd mumble to herself, seeing the atmosphere around the demon be taken in as a property on the spike, concealing it into the rain and mist. In a quick flash, she'd drop down Ichabon and let him trail into the house whilst she sent herself on the other side. Her husband was quick on running through the rooms, snagging a paper to use as a scroll, as well as a pick and chisel to scry it with, letting the previous stone hands surround the parchment to take a rocky appearance, the palms and fingers intersecting one another, embedding it within. Once he's finished, he'd find and jump out of a window for Limosa to catch and soar the two towards the wall. "Do you have any idea which magic style we need to use?" She would ask.

Ichabon nodded as he'd get to work writing it down. "When we were circling that thing, Harvard summoned something. It was disintegrating the water like nothing. That is what I intend to copy." He'd answer, watching his wife weave around the shots to prevent the spike from scratching and ruining the parchment altogether, as he wrote, he would notice that Osiris, the massive monster, would turn its head, spotting the city as well. He'd make a gesture of a pitcher, throwing something, a small figure cutting across the sky in the same manner as his wife. He'd recognize who it was based on its sword and helmet. He'd take a quick analysis on the red mist being emitted from the fusion, finally finishing his parchment, aiming it at the wall, taking a deep breath. "NUMBER MAGIC!!! ZERO!!!" He'd scream, as the scroll began to glow. Such a mist was quickly emitted in a massive explosion of smoke, the water eradicated into nothingness, the amount visibly dropping down for everyone in the Kingdom to see. The waves were prevented, a spot for the Scarab to finally be safe on. Cheers and joyous screams can be heard from the thousands that lived on Khepros, yet it wasn't done yet in helping the residents. As the Assailant tried to take aim, seeing his body finally taking a proper shape, the Monster sent would take notice, all thanks to Limosa's gaze tracking it.

SHIKK!!!

A cleave right at the Demon's arms, a screech of pain as it was disarmed, the pain in the nerves elevated by the red mist by the second. Miyashi's blade was embedded on the Scarab's shell, tossed like a saw in order to catch both of them and render the arms useless, now left onto the floor. It was quick on trying to kick one of them and catch it with its mouth, letting them see hooked teeth being sunk into the red flesh. It hid itself into an alleyway, prompting Miyashi to come down and hunt after the assassinator, gripping the blade and yanking it off of the shell, giving chase.

The Sea Monk, Meanwhile, would try to conjure a storm around the Walking City, attempting to adapt to the shift in its predicament. Yet, as it tried so, Bahamut merely smacked its tail against their head, pushing them away to the side, being chased out by Osiris to land a quick hook and an uppercut to keep them further apart. It could see through the slits that the four children are closing in, an all out assault being prepared, even in their tired state. Roars of anguish can be heard once more as it struggled to keep itself together, enraged further and further the more it is put at a disadvantage.

Harvard can't help but smile in seeing the beast finally losing the upper hand.
