Amaryllis jumped back, avoiding a slash to the midsection from Halim. The Archangel of Metal still maintained the upperhand, but it wasn't as lopsided as when we fought him.
Halim snickered even as a giant robot arm appeared out of a pink rift.
"Woah!" Sil said from where he and the other sat.
A powerful wave of silver mana radiated from his body, causing the robot arm to twitch and swerve erratically.
Amaryllis clicked her tongue. "Need to increase their electromagnetic resistance."
"Yeah, you do!" he said before he lunged forward, a blur of silver and a tinge of blue.
My wife's guardian angel/past life blocked the attack with an energy barrier. A powerful shockwave roared through the ballroom, but Aquarina's water barrier protected herself and my family.
I wrapped my arms and wings around Rose as wave of dust hit us. The space-time behind us seemed to bend.
"So strong," Rose muttered, a slight smile on her face.
