Chapter Seven
On the way, her heart was restless.
She couldn't help but think of his pale face.
Could it be that he's really hurt?
If so, how could she leave him there all alone?
"Nathan!"
She called out urgently, "Turn around!"
Nathan hesitated, "Sofia, what are we going back for at this hour?"
"Just turn the car around! Didn't you notice how strange Ryan Gregory's face looked?"
Sofia felt an unexplainable unease in her heart...
But Nathan still refused to stop, nor did he show any intention of turning the car around.
His task was to get her back to the hotel as quickly as possible.
Sofia grew anxious, "I'm telling you to stop the car!"
"Nathan!"
"Sofia, I'm sorry, but my orders are to take you back to the city."
"I don't want to go back to the city right now."
She said desperately, and seeing that he wouldn't turn around, she pushed the car door open without hesitation.
