A few people went upstairs together, and the Grand Duchess spoke softly.
"Don't bring this up later. The King doesn't know yet."
The elderly King Edward had a weak heart, and the thing he feared most now was emotional agitation. To prevent his heart from failing after learning the truth, the Grand Duchess had chosen not to tell him.
At this very moment, the old man remained in the dark.
"Alright." Ivana Bennett nodded knowingly, then bent down to instruct the two little ones. "You two, don't say anything either, okay?"
Perry Walker blinked. "What if the King asks me? Should I lie?"
"Forgot what Mommy taught you?" Ivana smiled at him. "Sometimes it's okay to lie, like when facing bad guys, or in situations like this. If telling the King the truth might harm his health, then this kind of lie is a kind-hearted one."
The little boy nodded in confusion.
Ivana then glanced at Gepard Walker. "Gepard, same goes for you."
