The building is an apartment complex, with a total of four elevators divided into two entrances. Li Yifei and Xie Yuanshan rushed in, each running into one entrance. Li Yifei glanced at the elevator and saw no one going up or down. The same was true for Xie Yuanshan on his side. He called security to guard the two exits to prevent anyone from escaping down the stairs.
The two took the elevator all the way up. Twenty floors isn't too high nor too low. They almost simultaneously reached the rooftop. The exit on Li Yifei's side was locked. He grabbed it with both hands, his muscles bulging, and immediately broke the lock. On the other side, Xie Yuanshan found his exit open.
They met on the rooftop and saw a man in black waving at them before taking a leap and jumping off.
Trying to escape? Xie Yuanshan raised his gun and fired, but the person had already jumped and was out of range.
