Chapter 1 - Beginning of the end

A weak soul struggled as it was pulled from two sides until its hands and lower half were torn apart, leaving only the chest and head. These remnants were then sucked into a vortex of green light before shooting into the vast starry chaos, disappearing with a weak, angry female voice full of vengeance echoing behind.

"I will return tenfold what they have done," the weak soul vowed, closing its eyes as it recalled the events that had transpired moments ago.

"Master... Master, those old fogeys are at it again," a voice urgently called out.

Snort.

"How many times... Can they not leave me alone?" A man lay on a bed, his otherworldly handsome face etched with annoyance. His existence was charming beyond description.

Standing respectfully beside him was his most trusted servant. The man looked at his servant, lost in thought for a moment before asking, "Little Black, what are your thoughts on this? What should I do to those ghosts? Should I destroy their souls and feed their flesh to my devour pigs for more meat?"

Panicking, the servant replied, "Master, I think it would be better not to kill them. You'd lack some entertainment."

"You're right... But how can I stop them from peeping at my meals? I don't like it when they copy my meals, thinking it'll make them as strong as me."

The man sat up in bed, one hand supporting his chin while the other held a roasted pig leg. If other primordial beings saw this, none would believe that he was the strongest of them all—the one and only Prime Primordial Chaos Cosmic Being, the embodiment of the true origin of nothingness, Novaah Chaos.

Novaah, the embodiment of true origin of nothingness, was the strongest of all primordial beings in the cosmic chaos. He was a unique existence without match, yet he was also notoriously lazy, known to the primordial beings as the embodiment of the sin of sloth and gluttony.

His most trusted servant, Durken, was the Lord of Darkness and an abyssal being. Novaah had found Durken as a child, abandoned by the heavens and his family, left to die. He taught Durken, gave him purpose, and a place to govern. Novaah also created a supreme cultivation foundation for him, including two powerful cultivation sutras. However, Durken chose to only use the Supreme Primordial Nothingness Sutra, a chaos-grade cultivation technique, over the Primordial Chaos Supreme Origin Sutra, which was two grades higher at the prime eternal grade. Durken refused to cultivate it because Novaah had left it ungraded, as he was too lazy to finish it before falling asleep. Durken's refusal meant the sutra was now used as a leg rest, its cover made of the soft and smooth silk from the eternal snow butterfly, one of the finest silks in the starry cosmic chaos verse.

"Master, how about giving them an artifact that prevents them from peeping into the future? That way, they won't see what meals you're preparing," Durken suggested.

"Mmmh... Let's go with that," Novaah agreed.

Raising his hand, light gathered and formed a black necklace made of an unknown material. "Use this."

"Master..." Durken hesitated.

"What is it?" Novaah asked.

"I've heard about something called a 'system.'"

"And?"

"Why not create one? Choose a mortal to be its host. You'll never lack entertainment that way," Durken proposed.

Novaah thought about it and agreed. "Okay, later."

Durken left, and Novaah returned to his meal, idly projecting images of various races and creatures from different places. "Boring," he muttered.

He pulled out a material of unknown origin and began crafting something. After some time, a transparent small pyramid was suspended in Novaah's hand. "Done."

Novaah admired his work, but a female shadow sneaked into his room.

"Loita, how many times do I have to tell you not to sneak into my room naked? I won't fall in love with you. You're still a baby to me. I'm millions of chaos circles older than you, and I don't need love," Novaah said, waving his hand to clothe the naked woman who had settled on his bed, revealing her otherworldly beauty.

"Senior, since you saved me and brought me to your realm, I'll make you fall in love with me. Just wait, I won't give up," Loita declared.

Loita was the last pureblood primordial elven fey, a race hunted by other primordial beings. The primordial elven fey were known for their souls, blood, and bodies, which could increase talents and evolve other races to reach prime eternal grade. They were hunted, and the ones who led the hunting were their allies. To protect their descendants, they sent them to different realms and asked Novaah to save their princess in exchange for allowing him to use some of their descendants for entertainment. This arrangement amused Novaah, but Loita's boldness surprised him. After saving her, she boldly bet that she would make him love her, which Novaah found amusing.

"Loita, I will lock you inside this system. If, one day, you are freed or escape and come back, I will marry you."

"Also, help me monitor the chosen one. Maybe you might fall in love with them instead. Who knows?" Novaah teased.

He knew well that Loita wouldn't escape and might stay eternally in the system, which was a win for him since it would rid him of her persistence.

"Nooooo! ...no...wait, if I escape, will you really marry me?"

"Have I ever lied to you?" Novaah asked.

"Yes... You're too lazy and always forget... but I'm good at remembering."

"Swear on my origin," Loita challenged.

"No need for that."

"I know you won't lie to me."

"Good," Novaah acknowledged.

"But... I won't marry anyone but you. Also, what is that system thing?" Loita inquired.

"You'll know later," Novaah said, performing a series of hand signs. The signs lit up, and Loita's body disintegrated into light, entering the suspended pyramid.

"Loita... Loita... Loita... did I do it right?" Novaah murmured.

"..."

"Senior.... the space is too small!" Loita's voice echoed from within the pyramid.

"Don't worry," Novaah reassured her, taking out the Fey Crest.

"Loita, I'll integrate it."

"So you still have it?"

"Yeah... The Fey Realm is the most beautiful realm. Plus, with my upgrade, it's even more than my own realm, and I made it bigger than mine."

"Thanks, Senior," Loita replied, her voice soft.

"No need."

"But still, thanks. I thought... I...I..." Loita hesitated.

"That I destroyed it for entertainment, right?" Novaah finished her thought.

"Mmmh," Loita admitted.

"Am I that destructive?"

"Yes, and a very big one."

"Not afraid that I will lock you there forever?"

"I'm afraid."

"Then why?"

"Because I want to be your wife."

"Good luck with that," Novaah chuckled.

"I will win," Loita declared confidently.

"Hehehe... we'll see," Novaah laughed as he integrated the Fey Crest into the pyramid.

"Wow!"

"Senior... senior, why don't you leave this for our family if we marry and have children? It's very beautiful," Loita said, her voice full of wonder.

"We can build a new one," Novaah suggested.

"Hehe... So you agree to marry me... Hehehe."

'Why do I feel like she's doing this on purpose?' Novaah murmured to himself. He picked up the cultivation technique he had been using as a leg rest, and it was sucked into the system space.

"I also have the same cultivation technique, martial art techniques, origin divine spells, and origin movement, defense, body refining, bloodline, and soul techniques that I have created, corrected, and upgraded to prime eternal grade," Novaah said as many booklets appeared and were sucked into the system.

"By the way, I upgraded your Primordial Chaos Nature Goddess Sutra to prime eternal grade. You can use it. It's better than the chaos grades your family used," Novaah added.

"Is it true... prime eternal grade? How... how is it possible?" Loita asked, shocked.

"Senior, are you... the Prime Primordial Chaos Cosmic Being?"

"Are you scared now?" Novaah asked, his voice teasing.

"No, I still want to marry you."

"Good luck trying. Know that I am the embodiment of nothingness."

"I still won't give up," Loita said determinedly.

"Whatever," Novaah sighed, sending many prime eternal grade weapons, treasures, pills, and seeds that were extinct in the chaos into the system.

After a moment of thought, he removed his origin, the origin of time, and the origin of creation—both beings from the true chaos cosmic who had fallen together with the embodiment of creation. With the three origins, he blended them to form a supreme origin, a creation felt by all creatures the moment it was formed.

"Senior, take your origin back. I don't want to lose you," Loita cried out, not caring about the newly formed supreme origin.

"Loita, don't worry. I've created a fake one to use."

"But..."

"No buts. I won't die before the embodiment of the supreme origin comes to be."

"Okay... You have to wait for me."

"Okay, I won't die before you have some descendants."

Novaah took the supreme origin and placed it in the system. "Will it withstand the power of the supreme origin?"

"Yes," Loita replied.

"I made it with transparent starry chaos crystal heart."

"What?" Loita felt dizzy—a material that could protect the chaos cosmic membrane.

Novaah then sent all his power into the pyramid, and it lit up with a series of chimes.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

"Hello, Master,"a robotic voice echoed, signaling the system's activation.
