"Mm mm..."
The Kami didn't really want to trouble Piccolo either, but with Goku mourning Krillin's death, he didn't feel it was appropriate to interrupt.
Still, the humanoid monsters couldn't be left unchecked.
Their reproductive abilities were terrifying.
As long as even one remained, given enough time, it could multiply into an astonishing number.
If they weren't careful...
By the time they realized it, the number of humanoid monsters would have already grown to a frightening level!
So, the Kami had no choice but to ask Piccolo for help.
"Heh, so I'm your only option now, huh? Well, you really are a useless Kami."
Piccolo could guess what the Kami was thinking and couldn't help but sneer.
"Fine. Since my strength has improved and I'm in a decent mood, and I don't want to see those disgusting creatures running amok... I'll help you, just this once."
In the end, Piccolo agreed, and immediately took to the sky, sensing for the humanoid monsters' presence.
Kami's Lookout
"Kami-sama, did Piccolo agree?" Mr. Popo asked with concern.
"Yes."
The Kami nodded.
"Popo, how do you think Piccolo compares to his father?"
"Uh, well... hmm... even though they're father and son, Piccolo doesn't seem as cruel. At least, he doesn't kill indiscriminately."
Popo thought for a moment and replied.
"Yes, that's the difference between him and the previous Piccolo. I'm starting to understand why Goku wanted to keep him alive."
The Kami said as he looked downward.
...
Doraemon Universe
Thanks to Dorami's gadgets and everyone's efforts, none of the Blood Pool creatures reached the human settlements; they were all eliminated.
And to prevent being discovered, Dorami used a gadget to conceal the entire area.
"All right, with these surveillance devices in place, everything should be fine."
Dorami left behind a number of surveillance robots.
They were specially designed to monitor the Blood Pool.
As soon as a monster appeared in the pool, they'd trigger an alert to notify Dorami and Doraemon.
"Everyone, let's head back!"
Dorami called out to Gian and the others.
At that moment, the three were testing their Warrior Spirits, evolving into Digimon.
"Ha ha! My ThunderBeemon is so cool! Not only is it every man's dream—a stag beetle—but it can also discharge electricity. It's practically a robot!"
Gian, transformed into ThunderBeemon, was showing off with excitement.
He struck bodybuilder poses while shooting lightning.
"Angewomon looks so pretty... I love these wings! But... why is she wearing just underwear?"
Shizuka, now Angewomon, shyly hugged herself.
"Ugh, why are you two so cool and beautiful? And I look like... this."
Suneo, transformed into Bearmon, couldn't help but complain.
Then he glanced at the rocket launcher on his back.
The weapon looked imposing, but paired with his cute appearance, it just felt mismatched.
And when he compared himself to Gian and Shizuka—he couldn't even compete.
Suneo sighed helplessly.
"Don't say that, Suneo! You look super cute!" Shizuka comforted him.
"She's right!" Dorami added.
Both girls had hearts in their eyes and blushing cheeks, clearly loving how adorable Bearmon was.
Suneo didn't know whether to be happy or embarrassed.
"Ha ha! If Nobita saw us transform into Digimon, he'd be so jealous!" Gian shouted excitedly.
The moment Gian mentioned Nobita, the atmosphere fell silent.
"Oh right... how is Nobita doing?" Shizuka asked worriedly.
They all finally remembered that Nobita was still trapped in Sadako's haunted space.
"And what about my brother? Have they met up yet?" Dorami grew anxious for Doraemon's situation too.
"Maybe they've already returned. Let's hurry back to Nobita's house and check!" Suneo quickly suggested.
Dorami immediately pulled out the Anywhere Door and took everyone back to Nobita's house.
Let's rewind time by half an hour.
In Sadako's haunted dimension—
Nobita carefully avoided the countless flying Sadakos.
Now, both the ground and sky were filled with Sadakos.
They climbed in all directions, searching for Doraemon.
Those in the air clung to invisible threads like spiders, rotating slowly to scan their surroundings. The sight was beyond eerie.
But the most terrifying of all was the Giant Sadako.
Every one of her movements caused loud disturbances. Her horrifying face and those massive, resentful eyes...
Even seeing her from afar was enough to make anyone break out in cold sweat.
"Eek eek eek!"
Nobita forced himself to stay calm, navigating this ghost-infested world.
He had to be extremely careful to avoid even a single Sadako.
Though his presence was nearly as low as a rock's, he feared being discovered with a single mistake.
"Not scary... not scary... Doraemon is still waiting for me..."
Nobita whispered to himself constantly, trying to suppress his fear.
Honestly, this was a huge ordeal for Nobita.
He had always been terrified of ghosts, and now he had to survive in a world full of them. It was a miracle he hadn't lost his mind.
Finding Doraemon was the only reason he could face these horrors.
Finally, after a nerve-wracking flight, Nobita reached the mental hospital where they had planned to meet.
It was dark and decaying, and one look made Nobita gulp in fear.
"So this is a mental hospital? This is my first time seeing one... how scary."
He looked around nervously.
Doraemon had said they'd meet here.
"Doraemon? Doraemon?"
Nobita called out softly while cautiously circling the hospital.
Strangely enough, he circled the entire building but couldn't find Doraemon.
"Don't tell me... he's inside?"
Nobita stared at the hospital's entrance in fear.
His gut told him that nothing good was waiting inside, and he really shouldn't go in.
"But... if Doraemon is in there, I have to find him!"
In the end, Nobita conquered his fear and slowly pushed the door open.
Oddly, there were no Sadakos inside the hospital.
That should've been a good thing.
But the eerie silence created a different kind of terror.
"Ugh... if only this pocket could connect to Doraemon right now..."
Nobita looked at the spare pocket in his hand.
Due to the magnetic field interference on Doraemon's side, the pocket couldn't establish a connection.
And using any tools might attract the Sadakos.
He had no choice but to search on foot.
"Doraemon... Doraemon..."
Nobita pressed forward with trembling legs, softly calling out for his friend.
In the silent hallway, his voice and footsteps were the only sounds.
The contrast only made his anxiety worse.
Then, just as Nobita passed by one of the room doors...
A ghost suddenly appeared.
It passed right through Nobita's body and kept going.
The unexpected encounter left Nobita frozen in place, covered in goosebumps.
