Chapter 479 - Chapter 479

"Right—what about Leo's situation?"

Seven remembered the earlier invasion of disc creatures and immediately flew back toward the city.

When he arrived, he was met with ruins everywhere, monstrous remains, and the destroyed corpses of disc creatures.

At that moment, Leo was firing an energy beam that wiped out the last of the disc creatures.

Once it was done, he stood there, breathing heavily, and looked around.

All the monsters and disc creatures had finally been eliminated by him and the five Super Star God Robots.

"Thank you all."

Leo raised a hand in gratitude toward the slightly damaged robots beside him.

These robots were highly intelligent, and upon receiving Leo's thanks, they each nodded in response.

"Leo!"

Seven descended from the sky and landed next to him.

"Seven, did you defeat them?"

Leo asked quickly.

"No. The Calamity Eel was cunning and managed to escape. As for the Harvest Prawn—it's not an enemy, so there's no need to destroy it."

Seven shook his head with a troubled expression.

"The Calamity Eel escaped? What are we going to do if it causes chaos again?"

Leo asked with concern.

"We'll just have to eliminate it when it resurfaces."

Seven was clearly frustrated, still blaming himself for being too careless.

"And what about the disc creatures—are they all dealt with?"

He looked around at the piles of disc creature corpses and asked.

"Don't worry, they've all been handled. They were definitely tougher than the monsters and disc creatures we've faced before, but against the Super Star God Robots and my Kaio-ken, they didn't stand a chance!"

Leo gave a firm nod, full of confidence.

"That's a relief."

Seven let out a breath.

"Hahahaha!!"

Suddenly, from amidst the ruins came a sharp, unsettling laugh.

It immediately put Seven and Leo on alert.

"Ultramen! You think this means victory? You're wrong! The Black Star Empire will conquer Earth no matter what!"

"HAHAHAHA!!"

It was the Black Commander—issuing a declaration of war to Seven and Leo.

Clearly, their ambitions for Earth were far from over.

"Alien invaders, huh… Honestly, if they knew just how dangerous Earth is these days, would they really still be so obsessed with it?"

Leo couldn't help but wonder aloud. After all, Earth now had SCPs roaming about.

If the aliens knew, would they still dare set their sights here?

"There are always those who don't care—even those who'd want to capture the SCPs for themselves."

Seven had encountered many evil alien races and knew how arrogant they could be.

With SCPs, alien invaders, and monsters all present—

Earth's situation was becoming worse by the day.

No one could predict what would happen next.

Now that all the monsters were defeated, the next step was cleaning up the battlefield.

Tony Stark: Hey, so you guys are just letting that Calamity Eel go?

Dan Moroboshi: It's not that we're letting it go. I simply can't find it anymore. We'll have to wait until it resurfaces.

Bruce Wayne: So even you failed to contain it—or kill it. Are SCPs now becoming this terrifying?

Garp: A creature that can't be contained? That's seriously bad news.

Rhadamanthys: Just because you can't contain it doesn't mean we can't. If our Underworld Army faced it, we'd take it down for sure!

Loki: Oh really? Then why didn't you deal with that Antarctic Bug? Was it because you were scared?

Rhadamanthys: What did you say!?

Cardia: He's got a point. Why didn't your Hades Army step in? Looks like you were too scared—stop barking!

Rhadamanthys: Scorpio, you're courting death!

Alone: Enough, Rhadamanthys. Keep quiet—you're embarrassing us.

Rhadamanthys: Yes, Lord Hades...

Hypnos: Speaking of that Antarctic bug—where is Kyoma? We still haven't found him.

Thanatos: Let's just hope he isn't doing something stupid.

[Congratulations to Daigo for defeating Kayako. Reward: Unlimited Energy.]

Just as everyone was awaiting the next SCP to appear, a voice rang out from the screen.

Kazuma: Huh? Daigo! You defeated Kayako?

Daigo: Yeah. I just now got the chance to check the screen.

Rogers: Weren't you supposed to be dealing with some kind of lightning entity? How did it turn into Kayako?

Daigo: Sigh. It's complicated—turns out Kayako had been controlling the lightning entity all along.

Tony Stark: What do you mean? Explain!

Daigo: Alright, here's what happened...

Ultraman Tiga Universe

TPC had launched an all-out war against the Lightning People.

Due to humanity's rapid development of electromagnetic technology, the Lightning People could no longer survive and had begun to mutate—resulting in the appearance of countless Gazotes that rampaged through human civilization.

Humans couldn't live without electromagnetic waves, but the Lightning People couldn't live with them.

Though they were both earth-born species, war had become inevitable.

Only one side could survive.

At present, TPC's Swallow Jet, Atlantis, and GUTS' King Gozard had all been deployed to attack the Lightning People's nest.

However, all their missiles were repelled by the electromagnetic field surrounding the thundercloud nest.

Even King Gozard's Pedanium Particle Cannon couldn't break through.

"Let me get closer!"

Inside King Gozard, Shinjō shouted and increased the ship's propulsion, charging toward the cloud.

"Idiot! Don't be reckless!"

Hori yelled as he saw Shinjō's impulsive move.

But Shinjō ignored him and charged straight into the thundercloud nest—

Firing grenades as he went.

Yet the moment the grenades neared the cloud nest, they were bounced away by the electromagnetic barrier.

Seeing this, Shinjō decided to ignore everything and just dive straight in.

"Come on, Lightning People! Let me destroy you all!"

His voice was full of anger.

Not long ago, Mayumi's boyfriend, Tomo, had been killed by a Gazote.

Mayumi had cried for days, and as her older brother, Shinjō couldn't bear to see her like that.

He deeply hated the Lightning People, blaming them for his sister's pain.

BZZZZZT BZZZZZT!!!

The cloud was filled with thunder—

But it didn't sound like normal lightning.

Instead, it resembled the low growls of a beast.

The tension in the air was thick and ominous.

Inside the dark cloud, where visibility came only in flickers of lightning, Shinjō was drenched in sweat.

TPC Command Room

Captain Iruma and Chief Sawai were watching the monitor, which displayed footage from King Gozard inside the thundercloud.

"Shinjō, get out of there! Return to the formation!"

Iruma gave the immediate order, sensing that something was terribly wrong.

"Understood."

Shinjō also wanted to leave—he didn't want to stay in such an eerie environment any longer.

But he didn't want to leave empty-handed either.

He pressed the fire button.

But the Pedanium Particle Cannon didn't fire.
