Osaka was a battlefield.
Buildings crumbled under the weight of chaos. Fires consumed street corners. The screeching of sirens mixed with the terrified cries of civilians as Nomu and villains rampaged through the streets like a plague. Amid the madness, Team Bravo had deployed—led by Endeavor and Mirko, bolstered by Crust, Edgeshot, and Nighteye. They had come not just to subdue villains, but to preserve what remained of a city on the verge of collapse.
Above it all towered Re-Destro, now an enormous monster—easily over 30 meters tall. His transformation, fuelled by absorbed fear and anger, made him pulse with dark, stress-charged energy. His booming laughter reverberated through the air as each step shook the ground beneath. Villains rallied behind him, emboldened by his grotesque strength.
-----------------------------------------------
"Todoroki! Right flank! They're cornering the civilians!" Iida's voice cut through the noise like a commander's cry.
Todoroki didn't hesitate. Flames burst from his left side, melting the approaching ice launched by a mutant villain.
"Got it!" His right arm swept wide, creating a solid wall of ice that sealed off an alley full of Nomu. Then with a burst of heat, he ignited a geyser of fire that swept through the mob, vaporizing three low-level Nomu in a blazing inferno.
His face, usually calm, was now hard with focus. "We can't let them through. Not one step."
Behind him, Shoji used his dupli-arms to shield two children caught under rubble, his muscles straining as debris fell atop him. "Shozaki, cover me!"
"Thorn Bind: Carnation Vines!" Shozaki called, unleashing a whip of razor-thin thorny vines from her sleeves. They shot out like snakes and ensnared a Nomu attempting to strike Shoji, dragging it away screaming before slamming it into the pavement.
Meanwhile, Tetsutetsu stood like an iron wall against a berserker villain with explosive limbs. The villain hurled blow after blow, but Tetsutetsu grinned, tanking the hits. "You're gonna have to punch harder than that, pal!" With a roar, he launched a full-body tackle, sending the villain crashing through a cement wall.
Monoma, having copied Shozaki's quirk, weaved alongside her, launching mirrored thorny binds in synchronized motions.
"Let's show them what Class 1-B can do!"
Civilians were quickly being herded to the south evacuation zone. Iida, with his engines roaring, sped through the battlefield like a silver blur, snatching people from the grip of death itself.
"This way! Everyone, follow the signs! You're going to make it!"
While students managed the frontlines and evacuations, the pro heroes clashed with Re-Destro's lieutenants. A villain named Scarab Bane, covered in segmented armor with scythe-like appendages, lunged at Crust.
"Your shield won't stop me!"
Crust raised his arm and a radiant blue shield formed. "We'll see about that! Justice Slash!" The shield's edge morphed into a blade of hardlight, slicing through Scarab Bane's armor and sending him reeling.
To his right, Edgeshot had already turned to a ribbon of cloth, weaving through the air, dodging shurikens from a stealth villain named Razor Whisper. In a blink, Edgeshot reappeared behind him. "Fatal Knot." The villain fell unconscious with a pressure point jab to the neck.
Further in the air, Mirko was a blur of raw power and speed. She shot through villain lines like a cannonball, every kick breaking bone, every leap shattering concrete. She faced a Nomu with four arms and spiked armor, grinning wildly.
"Nice build. Lemme test it!" She slammed her heel into its chest with a brutal spin-kick, caving in its ribcage.
All while this happened, Endeavor had locked eyes with Re-Destro.
The heat around him shimmered and cracked the asphalt beneath his feet. "You've killed enough. This ends now, Re-Destro."
"You think that fire scares me? I feed off fear! I AM the voice of the oppressed!" Re-Destro's voice was a snarl, amplified by the seething stress energy leaking from every pore.
The two clashed with a thunderous shockwave—Endeavor leaping up with Jet Burn, his entire body cloaked in superheated flames. He rammed into Re-Destro's chest, sending an explosion of pressure outward that flattened buildings nearby.
But Re-Destro caught him with a massive palm, absorbing the impact and slamming him down. Endeavor countered with Hell Spider, slicing searing flame blades across Re-Destro's arm and drawing blackened burns across his monstrous flesh.
"HAAA!" Endeavor shouted, rising again. "You don't get to decide who lives or dies!"
As the minutes ticked by, both sides were bleeding. The villains still had numbers—but the heroes had heart, unity, and purpose. Todoroki joined Endeavor in mid-air, unleashing a mix of flame and ice in a wide arc, freezing one side of Re-Destro's body.
The villain roared, swiping wildly. "You think THIS is enough to stop me!?"
But that's when Mirko launched from below with a spinning kick and Crust charged from behind, shield glowing. The pros were converging.
"Edgeshot, coordinate with the students. Nighteye, assess evacuation routes!"
-----------------------------------------
In the debris-filled alleyways, the students of UA moved with unshakable resolve."Go left!" shouted Tenya Iida, engines screaming from his calves as he dashed ahead, slicing through a group of low-tier Nomu with Recipro Turbo. A mother and child were trapped under a collapsed signpost—within seconds, he ripped through the obstruction and carried them to safety.
"This way! The evacuation center is two blocks north!" yelled Shozaki, her vine-like hair swinging outward, catching two quirk-using villains attempting to flank Iida.
"I'll hold them—move!"
A brutish villain named Slagjaw lunged from the side with a rock-hard transformation Quirk. Tetsutetsu stood tall and met him head-on.
"You wanna fight metal with metal? Bring it!" Tetsutetsu roared, clashing with Slagjaw in a brutal flurry of punches and headbutts, neither yielding. Sparks flew. Metal groaned.
Tetsutetsu smashed the villain to a nearby concrete wall with a Bang! and Slagjaw didn't stood up after the impact.
Tetsutetsu then smashed through a crumbling shop wall and landed in a bloodstained alley. He froze. A female pro hero — her body covered in cuts and scorch marks — lay discarded like a doll. Her costume was torn, her limbs bent unnaturally. Her hand still clutched a melted steel pipe, as though she'd fought until the last breath. Tetsutetsu looked away, but the image was already etched in his soul. "They gave their lives… and we weren't fast enough."
Shozaki extended her vines delicately through a shattered classroom window, clearing away glass. Inside, she found three children and a teacher. The children were silent — lifeless. The teacher had been torn apart by debris, her last expression one of sheer terror. Shozaki fell to her knees, her vines trembling as tears rolled down her cheeks. She whispered a prayer, her heart burning not just with grief, but fury.
"They were just kids…"
Monoma skidded into a half-destroyed apartment building, his eyes searching for survivors. What he found instead made his stomach lurch. A group of civilians — a family of four — lay motionless in a corner. The mother's arms were wrapped protectively around her children, shielding them from falling debris. One of the children had a piece of rebar pierced through their chest — impaled by a Nomu's rampage. Monoma's eyes widened, rage and helplessness flooding in.
"What kind of monsters… would do this?"
On the broken remnants of a bridge, Todoroki faced off against a monstrous, four-armed Nomu named Gorebeast, its jaw split wide and blood dripping from its claws.
"Your kind…" Gorebeast growled, "burn or freeze—it matters not."
"Then I'll give you both," Todoroki answered, cold air condensing around his right side as ice shot outward, encasing the Nomu's legs. Gorebeast broke free with brute force, charging. But Todoroki twisted mid-air, pivoting on a platform of ice, and unleashed a torrent of fire from his left.
The flames wrapped around the Nomu's torso, melting away chunks of its mutated hide.
"You're not regenerating?" he noted. "That means I can finish this."
A second surge of fire—Jet Burn—blasted through the monster's chest, incinerating it from the inside out.
Todoroki paused mid-stride. Beneath the shattered remnants of a small bakery, he spotted a hand — pale and limp — protruding from the rubble. He quickly rushed over, lifting debris with his ice, but his breath caught in his throat. The body of a young pro hero lay beneath, her goggles cracked, her torso crushed beneath concrete. She had likely shielded civilians during the collapse. A bloodstained toy bear rested beside her. Todoroki clenched his fists.
Iida moved swiftly through a smoke-choked plaza, evacuating injured civilians. Then he stopped. Ahead, a young woman — another hero, perhaps barely older than himself — had been pinned against a building by a massive slab of debris. Her lifeless eyes stared at the sky. A blood streaked child clutched her hand, sobbing. Iida knelt beside them, placing a trembling hand over hers. "Let's go I'll take you to a safer place-" he said quietly, before lifting the child and moving on.
From above, Edgeshot called down, "Excellent work, Everyone!"
Edgeshot zipped between collapsing towers and wounded heroes, his keen eyes catching glimpses of unspeakable horrors. He saw a little girl with a broken horn — a mutant quirk user — lying in a puddle of blood, her lifeless hand reaching toward her mother's severed body. The silence around her was deafening. This was no longer just a fight to stop Re-Destro. This was a war to protect what little remained.
At the edge of the battlefield, Crust and Nighteye were engaged with Re-Destro's elite lieutenants—villains named Rustbark, Twistblade, and Howlbarrel.
Rustbark's body was covered in bark-like armor that absorbed damage.
"You're just another name to erase!" he spat, charging Crust with sharpened bark arms.
"I shield those who cannot shield themselves!" Crust declared, forming three overlapping plates to block the attack before shattering them outward like shrapnel, knocking Rustbark off his feet.
Meanwhile, Twistblade—a wiry man who could bend and twist metal into blades—faced off against Nighteye.
"Predict this!" he sneered, launching a dozen spiralling daggers at once.
But Nighteye's Quirk had already seen the outcome.
"I already did-" he whispered. With preternatural grace, he dodged each blade and delivered a paralyzing nerve strike that dropped Twistblade in a heap.
Above them, the towering Re-Destro raised his massive arm and slammed it into a commercial tower.
"You pests still resist?!" he thundered.
Endeavor and Mirko attacked in tandem—flames and fists crashing into his limbs—but it only seemed to fuel him further.
"This is bad-" Endeavor muttered.
"We need to weaken him before we can bring him down. Mirko, keep him off-balance!"
"With pleasure!" she screamed, leaping onto Re-Destro's arm and breaking into a flurry of kicks that cracked his shoulder.
As Endeavor's blazing attack clashed with Re-Destro's monstrous figure, the battlefield quaked with each shockwave of their power. Just as Endeavor turned to unleash another wave of Prominence Burn, a hulking Nomu — charred but still alive — emerged silently from the smoke behind him, claws extended, its lifeless eyes fixated on the Flame Hero's exposed back.
A sudden hiss cracked through the air, and in the blink of an eye, jagged ice erupted from beneath the Nomu's feet, encasing its body in a glacial tomb. The creature froze mid-motion, a grotesque statue locked in a pose of death.
"I told you to watch your six, old man-" Todoroki's voice called out, stepping from the smoke, his breath heavy and chest rising. A thin trail of frost followed his stride, his right hand steaming with embers, the left gleaming with cold.
"Don't lose focus now."
Endeavor, briefly startled, looked back at the ice-covered Nomu. "Yes-"
Around them, more heroes emerged through the dust and ruin—Crust with his shield extended, Shozaki and Monoma supporting injured allies, Tetsutetsu carrying a limp child out of harm's way. Iida joined the front lines, armor scraped and cracked, while Ryukyu's dragon form soared overhead, clearing more Nomu from the buildings.
Re-Destro's massive eyes swept across the battlefield. His mouth curled downward in a twisted grimace as he observed the impossible—his army of lackeys, overwhelmed. Nomu, once the terror of the front lines, now lay scattered in pieces or frozen in place. His strongest quirk users, unconscious or captured. The tide had shifted, and it enraged him.
"You… gnats!" Re-Destro growled, voice vibrating like a storm in a steel drum.
"Do you think this is enough to stop me?! I'll crush all of you beneath the weight of this new world!"
Then, with thunderous steps, he reached down toward a pouch crudely strapped to what remained of his torn pants. From within it, he pulled a single syringe filled with a sickly glowing fluid—a deep, metallic red, pulsating like it had a heartbeat of its own.
Mirko narrowed her eyes. Her muscles tensed. "I'm getting a bad feeling about this…"
Before anyone could respond, Sir Nighteye's voice cut through the field like a blade. "EVERYONE! STOP HIM—NOW!!"
But it was too late.
With a furious roar, Re-Destro slammed the syringe into his neck, plunging its contents into his bloodstream.

[Two Days Before the UA Festival Chaos — Hero Headquarters, Tokyo]
The lights inside Hero HQ were dimmed for the evening, yet a flurry of activity surrounded the central research chamber. Holographic data hovered over a circular table, the glowing image of Enrai's (Radahn's) greatsword spinning slowly in the air. Scientists and analysts surrounded it, scrolling through lines of composition data, cross-referencing elemental anomalies and energy resonance.
Watanabe stood still amidst the controlled chaos, arms folded, eyes locked on the rotating diagram. The mysterious ore mailed to them had remained unsolved—until now. Watanabe's expression darkened as he reviewed the new intel his team had compiled. A breakthrough.
One of the analysts stepped forward. "Sir, we ran another spectral analysis on the fragment retrieved from Radahn's greatsword. The crystalline structure doesn't match anything on Earth. However…" She tapped her tablet.
"However , the ore we received a couple days ago had the same structure and properties as some fragments in the sword- and we suspect that ore came from someone who knows Radahn or he himself as this thing doesn't exist in this world- and one more thing the one who mailed it to us bought it from an underground auction held in Tokyo."
Watanabe's eyes widened. "Someone mailed it to us… knowingly?"
Another analyst interjected. "The final known location of the ore before the auction was in Japan. Specifically—a branch of Celestara Luxuries, the luxury brand store in Musutafu."
Watanabe's gaze narrowed. "Is the store still operational?"
"Yes and manager on-site- Name: Higuchi Naoto."
Watanabe reached for his earpiece and activated a secure channel. "Agent No. 98," he spoke calmly. "Get me Lady Nagant. Now."
[One Day Before UA Festival Chaos — Night, Celestara Luxuries]
The streets of Musutafu pulsed with life, neon lights casting reflections on the wet pavement. Inside Celestara Luxuries, the last few customers were leaving. Behind the velvet counter, Manager Higuchi Naoto checked the sales logs, humming softly to himself.
From a nearby rooftop, Lady Nagant stared down at the store through her scope.
"Visual confirmed. Target: Higuchi Naoto. Orders: Capture. Terminate witnesses."
She received a call on her earpiece. Watanabe's voice came through, static-laced but cold.
"Do not kill him. I want answers this time."
Nagant gave a soft sigh. "Copy. But if anyone else sees me—"
"Dispose of them."
She entered through the back window silently, her rifle now collapsed into a compact sidearm. She approached the manager from behind, her footsteps soundless. Just as she pressed the muzzle of her gun against the base of his skull—
"Manager? W-What's going on?" a young secretary named Itohame Kagura stammered, stepping into the office.
A split-second later—BLAM—the secretary crumpled to the floor, blood pooling beneath his head. his body was dragged and disposed of within seconds by a waiting accomplice in a black van outside.
"NOO! ITOHAME! YOU DAMN BITCH"
The manager turned, only to be pistol-whipped across the temple. He collapsed unconscious. Nagant holstered her weapon, lifted Higuchi effortlessly, and vanished into the night.
[One Hour Before UA Festival Chaos — Hero HQ, Interrogation Room]
A small surveillance room buried deep within Hero HQ now functioned as an emergency black site. The walls were reinforced with lead and quirk suppression plating. Higuchi Naoto was tied to a metal chair, blood trailing from his bruised face. He refused to speak, despite the harsh beatings from the agents surrounding him.
Watanabe entered the room. He tossed a small projector onto the table. It flickered to life, displaying footage of Higuchi's wife and daughter bound in an undisclosed location, terrified.
Naoto's bloodied eyes widened in horror. "N-No… No… Stop this! You monster!"
"Then talk," Watanabe said coldly, his voice devoid of empathy. "Who brought the ore?"
Naoto hesitated, shaking. "It wasn't a normal man. He was… something else…"
"Describe him-" Watanabe ordered.
Naoto exhaled, tears in his eyes. "A gentleman. Clad in a long, flowing trench coat. Glowing golden eyes. Crimson hair… flawless skin. His presence felt divine."
Watanabe froze.
Golden eyes.
Crimson hair.
Flawless skin.
Every detail matched Radahn… yet the physique, posture, even aura in security footage seemed wrong. The real Radahn… could be anything.
Anyone.
Maybe he was not here anymore,
OR
"Shape-shifting!" Watanabe muttered.
"Multiple quirks… damn it. That confirms it."
Naoto barely had time to react before Watanabe pulled a silenced pistol from his coat and fired. The shot echoed only once. Naoto's head dropped. Dead.
Watanabe turned to his team.
"Run facial reconstruction. I want that man tracked. Find him."
He stormed out of the room and into the hallway, slamming his ID badge on the biometric scanner.
"Finally…" he growled to himself. "I am gonna find you soon enough, Radahn. And when I do-"
Just then, his comm buzzed to life. Static filtered through.
"W-Watanabe…!"
He paused. "Who is this?"
"…It's me… Senior Director… Tsunagu…"
Watanabe straightened. "Sir?"
A beat of silence, then—"Japan has fallen."
"What?!"
"Japan has fallen! DAMMIT—SEND YOUR LACKEYS TO PICK ME UP!!"
