Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 - End of first week

Text(Hogwarts)

To say Harry's first week had been chaotic was an understatement and his weekend was starting with another bath with his lovely cousin He woke up early enough that the Slytherin girls weren't waiting and made his way over to the Prefect Bath finding Tonks waiting for him with a big smile on her face. After walking in, the Tonks quickly transfigured bathing suits for the two of them with her sporting a yellow bikini and Harry with a green pair of swim trunks which was a pleasant surprise given that they were alone. Harry's suspicion grew when Tonks swam over to the other side of the bath, but he played along figuring he'd find the answer soon. "Seems like you've had quite the first week huh." Tonks smiled as she snuggled into his side.

"Yep. Classes. Making friends. The usual teenage stuff." Harry replied nonchalantly.

"I don't think earning the ire of your House's seeker, and the headmaster of your school are the usual teenage stuff. Plus there's the whole mess with Draco and rumors that you're connected to why Weasley lost a bunch of points" Tonks snorted since Harry dismissed what happened so quickly.

Harry raised an eyebrow, "While I don't know how you found out about what happened with Higgs and the headmaster, they're not a big deal. The only true annoyance is Draco and unfortunately he will be for some time."

"It's pretty obvious as to why. You stole House Black from under his nose and now you've seduced his sister and her two friends one of whom is quite desirable in Daphne Greengrass." Tonks smiled.

"Yep." Harry chuckled. He could've easily fucked them, but he was taking his time. Something he might reconsider after enjoying Lavender's body.

"So now that we've finished the recap, what do you want to do next." Tonks wondered curiously.

"Let's start with inviting our hidden guest to join." Harry smiled deciding to finally drop the hammer.

Tonks blinked, "How'd you know." Tonks frowned as she swam over and grabbed her wand.

"You of all people should know my talents by now Tonks." Harry said flatly. How she thought he wouldn't be suspicious when she transfigured bathing suits was beyond him.

"Fair enough." Tonks smiled before swishing her wand as the disillusionment charm faded to reveal a blushing Susan Bones in a long-sleeved shirt and Yoga pants. To her credit, the outfit showed off her incredible body plenty without exposing anything completely.

"Hi Harry" Susan said bashfully.

Harry shouldn't have been surprised at all that Susan was the one hiding since she did give him a message from Tonks saying to meet in the bath. Still, this was a very interesting opportunity for him as long as he played this right, "Hello Susan, would you like to join us." Harry said warmly.

Susan's blush turned crimson, "I… I… don't have a suit." Susan complained.

Harry realized that it wasn't that Susan didn't want to, she couldn't, "Nym can just transfigure one for you like she did me, or would you prefer she make a changing area with a suit if that's better." Harry smiled.

"Is that okay? I don't want to interfere in your time together." Susan replied quickly.

Tonks chuckled, "It's a bit late for that Susan. Besides I brought you along because you wanted to get used to Harry's presence before talking to him yourself since you're usually so shy. I didn't expect this jerk to expose you so soon." Tonks sighed.

"Whoops. I guess years of being around Sirius made me worry that a prank was involved." Harry replied trying to act bashful. Tonks's excuse was paper thin at best, and they both knew it.

"Do you honestly believe I'd ruin the little bit of time we have together with a prank." Tonks pouted.

"YES." Harry said firmly.

"Well this isn't a prank. So what say you Susan." Tonks smiled.

Susan took a deep breath, "Fine but conjure me a changing area and a suit." Susan said calmly.

Harry relaxed calmly while Tonks conjured a wall to block him off. Harry could've looked through it if he wanted, he was that good, but he figured that would ruin the moment.

"TONKS!" Susan gasped from behind the wall.

"What's wrong Sue."

"This is… I can't wear this." Susan said with embarrassment in his voice.

"You can and you will." Tonks said firmly.

"But…" Susan protested.

"Just do it. I'm giving you a chance to be alone with Harry that you wouldn't get otherwise. You should take advantage of it."

There was a small pause, "Fine but if this goes wrong I'm blaming you!" Susan said again.

"It won't" Tonks smiled before casting a charm to prevent him from hearing anything.

Harry had a feeling that something amazing was happening behind the wall, so he waited eager for what was coming next.

"I'm ready." Susan said calmly and the wall faded proving that Harry was 100% right. Susan was in a black two piece suit with a top that barely contained her absolutely enormous breasts and a frill bottom which he didn't mind at all even if it was a bit childish. "Wow" Harry gulped. If ever there was proof that the Hogwarts robes were criminal it was Susan Bones.

Susan blushed, "I'm not too chubby am I?" Susan said bashfully as she squirmed in front of him. Susan did have a small bit of fat along her stomach, but it wasn't obnoxious, and most guys would focus on her breasts firsts.

"Not at all." Harry said with a very heated gaze.

"I told you." Tonks smiled as she got out briefly to put her wand to the side as Susan got in the pool.

"You did." Susan acknowledged before taking a deep breath and getting into the pool. She couldn't help but watch Harry's eyes as he focused on her breasts and took a leap of faith deciding to stay on the opposite side. Off to the side, Tonks slid back in and gave the two teens some space glad that things were working out.

Harry would be lying if he said that he was perfectly okay staying silent and enjoying the wonderous sight that was Susan Bones for as long as possible, but it was clear that Susan was also painfully shy and that he needed to break the ice, "So Susan. What do you want to talk about." Harry wondered.

"There were a lot of questions on Susan's mind, but she decided to go with a simple one, "Where did Sirius come up with the ideas for the Boy Who Lived Books." Susan wondered. One of the reasons the books were so popular was because there were very few if any books that weren't based off educational theory or autobiographical in nature.

"Dreams actually. I have an eidetic memory. so I remember everything that happened to me including my dreams." Harry explained with a smile.

"So Veela vacation and the other stories came from dreams." Susan wondered.

"I'd rather not talk about Veela vacation." Harry scowled.

"Oh" Susan said with a sad expression on her face.

Harry winced slightly because he didn't want her to feel bad and decided to let her in on arguably his second biggest secret, well biggest now that his family being alive was revealed, "For my parent's 10th wedding anniversary, Sirius had an old friend in the French DMLE arrange fake identities and get an international portkey so they could go to France for a week as a pseudo honeymoon. Sirius even went so far as to give them a special Gringotts card that had access to House Black's vaults so they could do whatever they wanted on his dime." Harry explained.

"Whoa." Susan gasped. Putting aside the favors he asked for, purebloods NEVER gave someone outside of the family access to their personal vaults.

"Yep but the good news stops there. A few days into their vacation, they got involved in a plot to kidnap the veela daughters of Sirius's old friend and after hearing the story, Sirius decided to make it into the next book. He altered it quite a bit to fit me and even added a fun little easter egg" Harry smiled.

"That explains the ending." Susan replied knowingly. During the final battle against the organization that tried to take the girls, one of the French DMLE agent's masks was briefly damaged showing off piercing green eyes that remind Hadrian of his. In previous books, it was mentioned that Harry's parents were killed years ago in a car crash, but that no body was found.

"Yep. Unfortunately, Sirius had no idea that the organization had some roots in England, and they made their displeasure known. Hexed items were sent to Sirius on multiple occasions but thankfully Gringotts screened all his mail." Harry frowned. The constant threats were the reason he stopped writing.

Susan slumped, "I wonder if my Auntie encountered them at all." Susan wondered.

"I don't know. Admittedly it wasn't something they discussed with me." Harry smiled.

"I see." Susan slumped.

Susan and Harry realized that this was a heavy topic, "Don't worry Sue. Your aunt is a badass and if she had to deal with those guys she'd take care of business."

"Yeah." Susan said with a bit of a smile.

Harry was glad that they were moving away and decided to mess with his cousin a bit, "You know Susan, your aunt is a major reason that Tonks wanted to become an auror. She admired the fact that she rose to head of the DMLE in a society that basically doesn't let women do anything on their own."

"Why'd you have to tell my secret." Tonks blushed.

"Because it amused me." Harry answered

'Why you" Tonks frowned before splashing him.

Harry was about to splash back but noticed that Susan wasn't too far away, "I'll get you another time." Harry smiled.

"Scared Potter." Tonks taunted.

"You wish. I just don't want sweet little Susan to get caught up in your shenanigans." Harry smiled.

"You… you think I'm sweet." Susan gasped.

Sweet was one of the words that came to mind, but Harry had to reel it in, "I do, and I hope that us being in separate houses doesn't prevent us from getting to know each other." Harry said calmly.

"What about the other Slytherins." Susan gasped. She was focused more on the three girls that surrounded Harry like they were his personal bodyguards, but she wasn't going to say that.

"I'm free to be friends with anybody I want and frankly I absolutely want to be your friend." Harry answered.

"I'd like that." Susan said happily.

"Good." Harry replied.

"Well I hate to ruin the fun, but we should probably get back. People are going to wake up soon and we wouldn't want annoying questions asked." Tonks spoke up.

"Right" Susan replied, and it wasn't long before the bath came to an end.

(Scene Skip)

Harry was all smiles as he walked into the Great Hall for Sunday breakfast. His Saturday was spent studying and talking to Blaise Zabini the 'other Slytherin' outside of Draco and his crew. Blaise was part Italian, and his mother was called the Black Widow by many due to having seven husbands that all died under mysterious circumstances. Harry would be lying if he was curious which husband was his father, but he didn't ask out of respect. Blaise was also quite intelligent and witty which Harry appreciated. He briefly glanced over at the Gryffindor table and spotted Lavender who very briefly smiled at him before he focused back on his table to see what the girls were up to this time. To his admitted surprise there was a shift in the group. The group was once again divided, and Theo appeared to be the dividing point. His spot for the day was next to Flora Carrow and Hestia opposite her was not pleased, "This is new." Harry smiled as he sat down.

"The girls of Slytherin had a little chat with Lyra yesterday and made it clear we didn't care for her attempts to isolate you from everyone else." Flora smiled.

"I see' Harry chuckled

"Yes. So how is the great Boy Who Lived doing on this fine Sunday morning." Flora said sarcastically.

Harry was about to answer when he saw the owls come in with the Daily Prophet, "I'm doing very well" Harry answered with a big grin on his face.

"What did you do Harry." Daphne scowled.

"What makes you think I did anything." Harry said innocently.

"You have that smile on your face that suggests you did something." Tracey confirmed.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Harry said with a large grin.

Daphne was about to respond when Julie Runcorn's owl dropped the paper in front of her. As she began reading the paper she understood why harry was so pleased, "Not bad Harry." Julie smiled.

"Thank you Julie." Harry replied glad that Julie used his actual name as he asked the girls.

Lyra was curious but got her answer once her paper arrived and boy was it something.

Putting the Lock in Chief Warlock

"Let me first start by apologizing dear readers because I know many of you were hoping for a follow up interview after our feature about the newly revived Potter family, but we've hit an unfortunate snag. We were hoping that with the help of Junior Witch's weekly reporter Lavender Brown, we could talk to the Boy Who Lived Harry Potter since he was on the way to Hogwarts before we could speak to him. Unfortunately, it appears that Albus Dumbledore refuses to allow the interview and threatened to punish Ms. Brown should she speak to him about what was on his mind. The former Leader of the Light is already under scrutiny after the excerpts Witch's Weekly gave us revealed that after going into hiding and using a powerful charm to conceal themselves, the Potter's were betrayed by former family friend Peter Pettigrew. This reporter has to wonder what else is Dumbledore hiding particularly since nobody has heard from Pettigrew in that time.

Rita Skeeter

"Damn." Lyra frowned as many reading the Prophet looked at Dumbledore who was unaware of the words. At least until Professor Grubby Plank, the Care of magical Creatures Professor handed him a copy. The way his calm expression faded even for a second caught everyone off guard who noticed it.

"He's pissed." Daphne frowned.

"Yes which is quite telling since he never shows any emotions." Julie replied calmly.

"This also explains why you were missing for so long after Selwyn brought you to Dumbledore." Flora smiled.

"After he told me that he didn't want the interview to happen, I took a walk around the school to clear my head." Harry replied. He then fucked Lavender senseless, but he wasn't going to mention that.

"Makes sense. Still, why would Dumbledore not want you to speak." Hestia questioned.

"Beats me." Harry smiled.

"Well Brown has a problem herself. Looks like Weasley is about to lose it." Lyra said calmly.

Everyone turned towards the Gryffindor table and saw Ron put down his food and get up to walk towards Lavender. At least until one of the twins grabbed him.

"Trouble in paradise." Daphne said with a smirk.

"Seems like it." Harry smiled. Anything going bad for Dumbledore was good for him as far as he was concerned.

"I'd focus on yourself also Harry. Dumbledore won't take this lying down." Julie warned.

"True but he has to. Because he'd fear more drawbacks afterwards." Harry replied.

"Still I'm curious about something." Julie wondered.

"What's that."

"What would you have told Lavender about your life in hiding and your family that would have Dumbledore panicking." Julie wondered.

"That's for me to know and you guys to eventually find out." Harry smiled.

"Maybe I can… try and convince you." Julie said in a sultry voice.

"Down girl." Flora chuckled.

"You're making your intentions a bit too obvious." Hestia teased.

"He's Harry bloody Potter. Unless you're braindead like Pansy, you see how awesome he is." Julie replied.

"I heard that Runcorn." Pansy shouted from a few spots down.

"Good. Now get your head out of Draco's arse already." Julie retorted.

"Give Pansy a break. Even whiny little kids like Draco need some love." Harry teased.

"What was that Potter." Draco scowled.

"You heard me Draco. I've known you for a week and twice you've invoked your father when somebody does something that annoys you. Be your own man for merlin's sake" Harry replied.

Draco scowled, "Says the person whose whole reputation is because the world thought he lost his dad." Draco scoffed.

The taunt was pathetic, and Harry had an easy rebuttal, "My reputation is because at one year old I stopped a dark Lord. One that I seem to recall your father was accused of working for until he claimed that he was controlled by the Imperius Curse. Says a lot doesn't it" Harry smiled.

Draco was furious but he wasn't "Watch it Harry. That's my father you're talking about also." Lyra frowned from her spot next to him.

"My bad Lyra. Hopefully you'll forgive me after this" Harry smiled before leaning over and pecking her on the cheek.

Lyra blushed, "You're forgiven."

"What the. LYRA!!! Draco fumed.

"The power of Potter." Blaise chuckled.

Draco was furious, "Potter when we get back to the dorm, we need to have ourselves a chat."

"Fine by me." Harry smiled and that was the end of the breakfast drama

(Scene Skip)

Harry was barely in the dorm for a minute when Draco made his move, "Potter. I challenge you to a wizard's duel." Draco said firmly.

Harry smiled, "Very well. What are the stakes and nothing stupid this time." Harry replied.

Draco smiled, "The loser is forbidden to talk to any of the girls in Slytherin for a reason that doesn't involve class for the rest of the year" Draco replied.

If looks could kill Draco would be dead as every one of the Slytherin first years and admittedly a few older ones glared at Draco. Harry should've denied it but there was no way he would lose, "Alright. To be fair, we can make Lyra the exception for you since you guys are siblings." Harry replied.

"Fine. Now let's do this." Draco shouted.

Isabella Selwyn was furious at Draco but there was nothing she could do at this point, "Very well. Follow me to the dueling area."

"Of course." Draco smiled.

"Let's go" Harry nodded. The group made their way over to a private room and opened it revealing a massive room that was only possible because of expansion charms. It contained a large rectangular arena 10 feet wide, and 20 feet long surrounded by 10 foot high walls that were painted Slytherin Green but were see through so anybody could watch without having to worry about getting hit by a stray spell.

'Welcome to the Slytherin dueling room you two. The only people allowed in the main area will be me as Head girl and the two combatants. Once they enter. Nobody is permitted to interfere until the match is over. Is that agreed."

"Agreed' Draco said smugly.

"Agreed'" Harry replied politely. The two walked in with Isabella as a large contingency walked in and surrounded the arena.

Harry took the left side with Draco on the right, "Now the terms of the duel are settled so here are the rules. The first to be disarmed wins and you are permitted to use any spells you know that are not family magic. Is that clear."

"Yes." Harry replied.

"Of course." Draco smiled.

"Good now bow." Isabella replied. The two students bowed and got into their stances. Draco's wand was pointed at Harry with an open stance while Harry had his wand in front of him in a closed stance.

"Get ready to learn your place Potter." Draco taunted.

"BEGIN." Isabella shouted and the match was on.

Draco had a vicious smile on his face since the rules meant he could do what was coming, "It's over Potter. SECTUMSEMPRA." Draco shouted as he slashed his wand towards Harry.

"Draco you bastard!" Lyra roared but Harry was more than ready.

"PROTEGO MAXIMA." Harry shouted as he formed a shield that easily blocked the attack without Harry taking any damage much to Draco's shock. Harry was impressed because his shield took a decent dent.

"How did you… AHH." Draco cried as he dropped his wand and started writhing in pain on the ground.

Harry was pleasantly surprised as he walked towards Draco with a vicious smile on his face, "You know I know quite a few spells, but I've never seen that one before. I'm curious how you'd like it used against you."

"Harry! Stop! Don't use that on him!" Lyra shouted from the outside.

"Sorry Lyra but all's fair in love and war." Harry smiled as he walked over to Draco who barely got to his feet.

"You're not worthy enough to use that spell." Draco taunted.

Lyra's eyes widened because Draco told Harry everything he needed to know, "Draco Shut the Fuck up. Harry don't you dare use that spell." Lyra screamed again.

Harry had plenty of ways to finish Draco given his clearly weakened state but if he was going to be in Slytherin for the next seven years he needed to send a message. Mentally apologizing to Lyra he made his move, "I believe your little spell went like this SECTUMSEMPRA." Harry smiled as he slashed his wand just like Draco did aiming for a spot starting right below his shoulder and across his stomach. Thanks to how weakened he was, there was no blocking this one.

Everyone watched in shock as a large slash appeared where Harry was aiming causing Draco to drop his wand and fall backwards as the open wound slowly bled out.

"Fuck! Isabella call the match NOW." Lyra shouted from the sidelines.

Isabella blinked but realized that Lyra was right, and Draco was finished, "Potter is the winner." Isabella shouted as she grabbed her wand to take care of the wound, "Episkey." Isabella shouted at the large wound but unfortunately it didn't close.

"Uhh. That's not good." Harry frowned and instantly everyone realized that something very bad had happened

"Malfoy what the fuck is going on. I've never seen a wound that Episkey can't heal." Selwyn said nervously.

We need to find Snape NOW." Lyra shouted. She may not like Draco, but she had to help him.

"Snape. How the fuck is he supposed to help." Isabella shouted.

"That spell is something Snape taught us years ago. It's a powerful curse of his creation and it can't be healed by normal means."

"And Draco used it in a duel… forget it. I NEED A HOUSE ELF NOW." Isabella shouted and a green house elf appeared out of nowhere.

"What does the Head Girl require of Naga."

"Go inform Professor Snape that he's needed in the Slytherin dueling room immediately. Tell him that the spell he taught Draco backfired on him big time."

"Yes ma'am." The house elf replied before leaving.

Everyone watched as Draco lied on the ground bleeding, but nobody wanted to move because they didn't know what was going on. Thankfully the elf returned with Snape whose wand was already out. "VULNERA SANENTUR" Snape said almost like a song and the wound closed before their very eyes

"He's okay." Isabella said with relief.

Snape took a deep breath to gather himself focused on Draco, "Ms. Selwyn please explain what happened." Snape said calmly.

"It was Potter sir. He did it. He used that spell on poor Draco" Pansy shouted.

"Pansy you little bitch!" Lyra shouted.

"SILENCE" Snape roared, and everyone stopped immediately. Snape looked over to find Harry with his wand and an odd expression on his face. In years passed he would've probably had the tirade of the century, but recent events caused him to re-evaluate everything, and this particular event required a lot of context "Ms. Selwyn please get as much essence of dittany from the medical area as you can and do it immediately."

"Yes sir." Isabella said firmly before leaving.

Snape took another deep breath, "Mr. Potter can you explain what happened and ONLY Mr. Potter." Snape said firmly.

"Draco challenged me to a duel where the loser is forbidden to talk to any of the girls in Slytherin for a reason that doesn't involve class for the rest of the year. He made the first move using that spell and I blocked it. Out of nowhere, Draco fell to the floor, and I realized that this was my chance. While I admit that I could've ended it in a lot more peaceful ways, I needed to deliver a message and what better way than to beat Draco with his own spell. I have to admit I didn't think it would be this bad" Harry admitted.

Snape was furious but in truth he understood it. Potter was the Boy Who Lived in a house filled with people who wanted him dead, "That spell is one of my own creation, and we are lucky that this was such a shallow cut. Were it a few inches deeper Draco would be dead right now." Snape revealed to the shock of the house.

"Hold on. When Draco used that spell he fell to the ground in pain. Why is Potter just fine." Pansy said angrily..

"That Ms. Parkinson was the result of the magical vow I made Draco cast when I taught him this spell. It was ONLY to be used in a life of death situation or in the case of Ms. Malfoy, if she felt her chastity was in danger. It causes a deep cut that can't be healed, and it will leave a massive scar if the dittany is not brought in soon. The reason Draco was on the ground in pain is because if he violates the rule, it sends a shock that is equivalent to the Cruciartus curse through his body."

"I see." Pansy frowned.

Snape turned back to Harry, "Potter I will not punish you in any way for this since Draco used the spell first and not you, but I hope this serves as a lesson to you" Snape replied.

"It does sir." Harry smiled.

Snape was pleased before focusing on the crowed, 'Good. Now everyone go back to your rooms for now. I will wait for Ms. Selwyn with my foolish godson. By the way, if I hear word of anybody using that spell on a fellow student you will find yourselves not only expelled but sent to Azkaban. Am I CLEAR." Snape scowled. A chorus of yes's accompanied that and everyone besides Lyra returned to their rooms to wait for Isabella Selwyn's return

(Scene Skip)

Harry was on the familiar couch at the end of the exhausting day. While he mostly kept to himself for the rest of the day he did go downstairs earlier since he liked the feel of the couch. Rather ironically, Higgs was sitting on his favorite couch but when Harry went to sit on a separate one Higgs got up and walked over to him. He told Harry that he respected his ruthlessness and also the fact that he held up on the attack. In his words anybody who could perform a Protego Maxima as solid as his was, could've caused way more damage than he did. After a nod of respect Higgs seemingly gave him the chair and he took it with Higgs taking the one Harry was going to enjoy. Dinner was a silent affair mostly, but as he walked over he noticed that the Slytherins didn't give him the dirty glares they had until now.

His musing was broke when Daphne Tracey and Lyra approached him in casual clothes. While it was late, there were a few people downstairs and all of them focused on the group.

"We have some things to say." Lyra said calmly.

"Alright" Harry replied standing up to face the music. He was pleasantly surprised when Tracey actually slapped him on the right side of the face.

"That was for goading Draco into a bloody duel." Tracey scowled.

Daphne walked up next and slapped him on the left side of his face, "THAT was for actually wagering our friendship on said duel."

Lyra was the last and she punched him in the stomach., "THAT was for using the spell after I told you multiple times not to." Lyra growled by shaking her hand.

"Don't you hate Draco." Harry chuckled at how Lyra's attempt to punch him actually hurt her.

"Yes but if he dies, then the responsibility of protecting house Malfoy goes to me and since I can't inherit it directly, my dad would sell me to somebody as a concubine in order to keep things going." Lyra scowled.

"Got it." Harry smiled.

Lyra backed away and Daphne stood in front of him again, "Of course after being a stupid Gryffindor and giving into Draco's taunts. You forced him into a situation where if he lost, he can't talk to any of us OR Pansy for the rest of the year. That earns you this." Daphne smiled before kissing the very spot she slapped moments ago.

"Then you dominated him so thoroughly that his reputation will never recover. That earns you this." Tracey smiled as she walked up and kissed him where she slapped him.

"Even though you completely ignored me when I actually knew what that spell could do, you held back and only gave him a minor gash when you could've done much more. That earns you one final thing." Lyra smiled as she leaned up and pecked his lips before pulling away.

"So let me get this straight. You slap me for my actions leading up to the duel, but you then kiss me because of the result of the duel. You girls are confusing." Harry smiled.

"That's right and you're stuck with us for the next seven years."

"I can live with that." Harry smiled and the group of four shared a laugh after an insane first week of class

Notes:• The veela mentioned in Harry's story are the Delacour sisters and I've got a few ideas in mind for them within the story.

• The drawing below is the label for how the group was set up during the first breakfast scene. I'm not going to make a habit of this because it's a pain but just imagine that something similar is taking place most of the time

Daphne Tracey

Lyra Julie

Harry Blaise

Flora Hestia

Millicent Lilith

Theo

Pansy Goyle

Draco Crabbe

• I know that many iterations of Snape would be furious at Harry for how the duel happened, but he can't exactly punish him for a duel's outcome without looking really bad.
