Chapter 760 - 325. Seamless integration of new aid!

Vincent nodded in agreement upon hearing Carlisle's words.

He had met Carlisle in the assistant coaches' circle. When Joe Dumars hired Carlisle as the head coach of the Pistons, Carlisle brought him along to embark on a brand new coaching career.

Back then, the Pistons had Ben Wallace, who was the king of the team in both demeanor and strength; the relationship between the players was something the coaching staff didn't have to worry about.

Later, when the two went to the Pacers, they completely overlooked this issue, thinking Jermaine O'Neal would assertively take the reins of leadership from Reggie Miller just like Ben Wallace did.

After all, his last name was O'Neal, and he came from the "gang" of the Trail Blazers.

Unexpectedly, the younger O'Neal lacked any aura of leadership. He did want to be the boss, but no one respected him, and it was still Reggie Miller who had to keep everyone in check.
