Defensively, Miller had lots of little tricks up his sleeve, was wildly aggressive, and loved to pull the chair, causing the ball carrier to run into him; offensively, he was quite unorthodox, avoiding the inside if at all possible, taking more long two-point shots than attempts under the basket, with passing that in the league among centers was second to none... Matching up against him didn't mean you couldn't gain an advantage, it just felt incredibly uncomfortable.
