"Where are you going, Olivia?" Allan asked, curiosity lining his voice as he noticed her quietly heading toward the door.
"Oh, nowhere far," she answered with a gentle smile, her hand instinctively brushing over her belly. "I just feel a little nauseous. You know... pregnancy stories." She chuckled lightly, trying to ease the moment. "I want to get some fresh air around the house. You can come with me if you want to."
Allan raised a brow. "I'd love to, but I've got some work to finish up. Maybe Lily can go with you? And please, don't wander too far." He stood up, walking over to the door and swiping his access card to open it.
"Here," he said, handing the card to Lily. "Use this when coming back in."
Lily took it with a smile and followed Olivia outside. The air was cool, and the scent of the garden hit them instantly. Olivia bent to sniff one of the blooming roses, inhaling deeply.
