"Go get 'em, Hat!" Noah, pointing forward with his left hand, which sported a bronze gauntlet, launched a Mystic Shot projectile. The blue projectile struck a mutated monkey that was trying to attack the Hulk. The explosion of blue magical flames threw the mutant back.
This monkey seemed to have mutated from a gibbon; its arms, after the mutation, had become incredibly massive, even larger than its own body, and resembled the Hulk's arms. At that moment, another monkey from the same pack was fighting the Hulk, but soon he tore it apart, as trying to compete with him in strength was a futile endeavor.
"Vzzzz..."
A purple blade sliced several mutated creatures in half. Noah's right hand now gleamed with a purple gauntlet, belonging to Kassadin, imbued with the power of the Void. He gripped the blade and saw the purple stone on the gauntlet sparkle as Void energy enveloped his sword, transforming it into a Void Blade.
The energy blade pulsed, cutting through the skin of mutants who had previously resisted ordinary attacks. However, before the Void Blade, their bodies were sliced through with ease, like butter under a hot knife. After Noah dealt with several mutated creatures, he swung his sword again, releasing a fan-shaped purple wave of destructive energy that annihilated all obstacles in its path.
"The power of the Void is truly impressive," Noah said, watching the destructive wave. The energy from the Void dimension, in its primordial form, was pure energy devoid of special effects, but its power depended on his research. Noah used it in a manner similar to Vel'Koz's disintegration ray, although it hadn't yet reached his level of power.
Meanwhile, Rabadon's Deathcap, which he had sent forward, had already begun spewing magical fire like a magical bomber. It alternately launched blue magical projectiles and streams of blazing magical flames. Each magical projectile possessed destructive power: the mutated creatures hit by them instantly lost their skin, which melted, and then the projectile exploded inside, tearing them to pieces.
Endless streams of magical fire engulfed the area beneath the hat, instantly filling the air with a wave of scorching heat. The mutated creatures that touched the fire emitted horrifying screams, rolling on the ground and trying to escape, but it was all in vain. The magical flames turned them into a bloody slurry that quickly evaporated into the air.
The blue magical fires blazed like a forest fire, and the surrounding trees fueled the flames. From afar, even from the city, the flames could be seen rising into the sky, spreading further and further. The culprit of this conflagration – the hat – continued to spew fire, and its grinning mouth seemed to laugh like a demonic entity, spreading terror.
Mutated flying creatures tried to attack the hat, but its agile body dodged their attacks, and soon magical projectiles tore them to pieces.
Noah, of course, noticed all this mayhem, but hadn't expected his hat to be so powerful. This epic scale and fury was difficult to reconcile with the image of the hat that Gwen chased around the house, creating a stark contrast.
The mutated creatures began to avoid the area engulfed in blue fire. Despite their madness, an instinctive fear of fire was deeply rooted in their genes, especially flames of such intensity. Therefore, most of the mutants rushed towards the Hulk and Noah.
The Hulk continued to furiously fend off the mutants that attacked him, using all his strength, which was becoming increasingly destructive. Noah, meanwhile, fought other mutants, using a variety of offensive abilities: lightning, blades, holy light, lasers – all flashing in the night. Several portals opened beneath the feet of the mutants, and those rushing to attack fell directly into lava, as Noah teleported them into the mouth of a volcano, hoping they wouldn't die, but perhaps even transform into fiery creatures.
"Pew-pew-pew!"
Purple rays struck the mutants, causing their bodies to shrink and turn into small, cute creatures that were immediately trampled by their larger brethren.
Noah was clearly enjoying himself, but the Hulk was having a harder time. Most of the mutants were heading straight for him, and although he could easily throw back large creatures with a single blow, their onslaught didn't weaken.
What annoyed the Hulk most were the small mutated creatures, like small lizards and insects. They crawled onto him, biting him, and some of them secreted venom, causing him intense pain. The most unpleasant thing was that some of them tried to get into his elastic shorts to attack him where he was particularly vulnerable, which practically drove him into a frenzy.
"Damn bugs!" the Hulk roared furiously, attracting the attention of Noah, who was just giving electrotherapy to another group of mutants.
He noticed the Hulk trying to shake off several small mutated creatures that had climbed onto his back. For a human, with his huge muscles, scratching his own back was already a difficult task, but for a green giant, it was a real problem. In the end, the Hulk simply threw himself on the ground, trying to knock off the parasites, or crashed into other mutants, trying to get rid of them that way.
Noah thought for a moment, then folded his hands into signs, summoning magical symbols from Kamar-Taj, which began to swirl around him. However, unlike other Kamar-Taj mages, his symbols weren't orange but blue – they reflected his own magical energy. When he completed the spell, the blue energy rushed towards the Hulk, enveloping his hands.
The runes began to slide along the Hulk's arms, flowing towards his enormous fists. In bewilderment, he saw spiked gauntlets, similar to brass knuckles, appear on his fists, completely imbued with magical energy. These gauntlets were created by a weapon-forming spell, and Noah decided to use this spell on him.
"Aaa?!" the Hulk exclaimed, shaking his hands angrily, trying to remove the unexpectedly appeared gauntlets. But the magical gauntlets were firmly fixed on his hands, and even when he got angry and increased in size, the gauntlets grew along with him.
Just at that moment, a huge mutated bull with curved, sharp horns charged at him with a roar. Without hesitation, the Hulk struck it.
"Boom!"
The bull's lower body flew off and crashed into a tree. And what happened to the upper part? It was destroyed by a wave of magical energy emanating from the magical gauntlets. Magical oscillations still radiated from his fists. Seeing this, the Hulk grinned:
"Hulk!! Like!"
Noticing that the Hulk had accepted the magical weapons and used them to tear his opponents to shreds, Noah added a protective magical shield to his back so he would stop trying to use trees as scratching posts. The weapons of other Kamar-Taj mages didn't possess such power, but he imbued them with his own potent magic, which produced this effect.
"Noah, I advise you to finish the fight quickly. The energy in Warwick's experimental model is almost depleted."
Just as he was about to continue his battle, Lissandra unexpectedly reminded him of this.
"Huh? Batteries dead?"
