Chapter 298 - Chapter 298: Survivors

Anya was fast.

Before long, a big pile of delicious food was ready.

"Here you go~~~"

"I always love Anya's cooking. I wish I could eat it all myself. Everyone, this time I'll eat it all alone. How do you like that?" Daisy looked at the food on the table, swallowing hard.

...

No one paid attention to Daisy. In a flash, everyone teleported to the table, pushing Daisy out, then quickly started eating the food in front of them.

"Ahh!"

"That's not fair!" Daisy shouted, trying to squeeze back in before all the soup was gone.

Just then, as Daisy pushed her way back, Ryuen and Kuina stopped, both staring at the sea.

Seeing their strange looks, the others also turned to watch the sea.

"A ship. Only one person on board. The energy feels weak, so they probably just happened to come here..." Ryuen sensed the situation and said what he saw.

Everyone walked toward the shore. Daisy glanced at the sea, then at the food still on the table.

Then, as fast as lightning, she finished all the food in just a few seconds. She wiped her mouth, then used Seimei Kikan to shrink her full belly before casually walking to the shore.

...

"That's not a pirate ship. Looks like a small trading vessel..." Hogg said, watching the ship near the shore.

Kuina squinted, looking at the person on the trading ship. "She looks hurt~"

No one else said anything, but Ryuen could feel the woman's energy getting weaker and weaker. It seemed she was seriously injured.

A few minutes later, the merchant ship finally docked.

Just then, a faint cry for help came from the ship: "Help... help me..."

Daisy heard it and frowned slightly.

Without hesitation, she jumped onto the ship.

Looking around, she saw an injured woman who had passed out, her chest soaked in blood.

"Lucky for you, you ran into me," Daisy muttered, then quickly started helping her.

Meanwhile, the others also jumped onto the ship.

Robin said softly, "Sailing alone through such a dangerous sea... this girl's got some nerve."

Nami spoke firmly, "She must have a story behind her."

Nojiko teased, "What, are you planning to wait till she wakes up, pour her a drink, and listen to her tale?"

"Wouldn't be the worst idea…"

Before she could finish, the woman suddenly coughed and slowly woke up.

Everyone turned their attention to her.

"I... am I still alive...? *Cough, cough...*"

The woman tried to speak, but her wounds were too serious—she coughed hard right after opening her mouth.

"Don't talk yet, your wounds haven't healed," Daisy quickly stopped her.

"Th... thank you..."

The woman looked at Daisy gratefully, then slowly closed her eyes and passed out again.

"She's not going to die. But what now? What should we do with her?" Daisy stood up, her eyes falling on the unconscious woman on the deck.

"Let's take her back to camp. Nami still wants to hear her story, right?" Nojiko suggested.

Daisy turned to Ryuen, waiting for his decision.

"Alright… take her with us. I'm also curious. Did she set out to sea already wounded? Or did she get hurt and end up drifting here?" Ryuen crossed his arms and nodded in agreement.

Since Ryuen had spoken, Daisy didn't hesitate anymore. She picked the woman up and jumped off the ship, with the others following her back to camp.

Once they returned, Nami quickly took out a brand-new tent and set it up.

Daisy gently laid the woman on the bed inside.

"Daisy, don't you have that special medicine that helps wounds heal really fast? Why not use it on her?" Little Reina looked up at Daisy, full of curiosity and confusion.

"Reina, that medicine's really expensive. We don't even know her. We don't know if she's a good person or a bad one, so there's no need to waste it. As long as she survives, that's enough." Daisy softly replied, patting Reina's furry bunny head.

"Oh, I get it now," Reina said, suddenly looking very serious.

Seeing Reina like that, the girls couldn't help but giggle. That bunny head of hers was just too cute.

...

One night passed, and when the first rays of sunlight appeared on the sea's horizon, the Dream Team members slowly woke up.

Nami stepped out of the tent and stretched, showing off her graceful figure. Her clothes were a little messy, but it didn't take away from her beauty at all.

The morning sunlight fell on her, making her long orange-red hair shine.

Her face looked healthy and glowing. Her clear eyes carried a lazy, content look, like she had just woken up from a sweet dream.

Right after that, Ryuen also stepped out of Nami's tent.

"Huh?"

"Ryuen, why are you coming out of Nami's tent?" Reina's voice suddenly rang out behind them.

"Ah?"

"Oh... it's like this—your sister Nami wasn't feeling well, so I was just... helping her feel better," Ryuen said calmly.

Nami quietly clicked her tongue in annoyance.

"Nami-nee is sick?"

"Nami-nee, are you okay?" Reina looked worried as soon as she heard Nami was sick.

"Heh heh~"

"Well, Reina, I'm all better now. No need to worry," Nami said with an awkward smile.

"That's good. But next time, if you get sick again, you should let Daisy-nee treat you. Her medical skills are way better!" Reina looked at Nami seriously as she spoke.

"That's not always true. Only I can treat the kind of illness your Nami-nee had," Ryuen said calmly, with a confident look.

"Shut up and go check if that woman from last night is awake yet," Nami snapped at him, clearly embarrassed.

"Okay!"

"I'm on it!" Ryuen disappeared in a flash.

"Sigh~"

"Some people just don't care how they look in front of others…" Daisy came out at that moment, her tone a little sarcastic.

"Exactly, exactly…"

...

Then the others also came out of their tents.

"Ahem~~"

"Well, I think I'll go look around the island…" Nami, feeling too embarrassed to stay, quickly vanished from where she stood.

"That's weird... how come there was no sound?" Anya asked, looking in the direction Nami disappeared.

"Because Nami used her space ability!"

"Dummy!"
