After Vita tired out, Jun An looked at the Little Vitas lined up before him and restarted the great war to defend Earthling dignity.
After completing their first pioneering, Jun An used the power of the Herrscher of Rebirth to help heal their internal injuries quickly, wanting them to recover faster. He even helped them adapt to the work, preventing unnecessary pain. When they pushed themselves too hard, the Captain would gently remind them not to rush, to take it slow. He was as gentle as a caring older brother.
Watching the Captain be so tender with her little sisters, Vita couldn't help but mutter, "Why weren't you that nice to me back then?"
Vita hadn't received such good treatment. Back then, the Captain, dissatisfied with her pure, inexperienced service, had switched to a rampaging mode. He only cared about his own pleasure, completely ignoring the pitiful little thing she was, who had just gone through her first practical experience. She had barely survived by relying on the tiny bit of authority scraped from Sa, and he even seemed to enjoy making her cry.
He had even subjected her to various rough experiments at one point – placement, bondage, blindfolds, toys... all sorts of tricks he wouldn't use on his beloved Valkyries were tried out on her. Fortunately, the Captain treated these experiments merely as tasting something new, not developing a particular fondness for any single one. Otherwise, Vita didn't know how much more suffering she would have had to endure.
If there was one thing that truly dissatisfied her, it was undoubtedly the Captain's completely casual attitude towards her. He only cared about getting himself off and paid no attention to whether she could handle it or not. It even made Vita wonder if the Captain saw her as human at all.
Jun An retorted, "I hadn't copied the Herrscher of Rebirth's authority back when I was with you. Besides, take another look at what you were trying to do when we first met."
Back then, Vita was Sa's agent, an accomplice attempting to destroy Salt Snow Holy City and his Valkyries. It would have been strange if Jun An had shown any tenderness. In fact, the punishment being so light was already merciful on Jun An's part. After all, Earth's laws couldn't restrain Jun An in the Sea of Quanta. If someone uglier or without any use value had done those things, Jun An would have instantly smashed their head in.
As he spoke, Jun An picked up a Little Vita. Bad women like Vita were for venting anger, while cute little lolis were for healing the soul. Their treatment, naturally, couldn't possibly be the same.
He could easily feel the Little Vita's weight was incredibly light, probably only around thirty kilograms, much lighter than Theresa, and also a bit smaller. Of course, in terms of resilience and internal pressure, she certainly couldn't compare to Theresa. After all, if Theresa got serious, Jun An had no doubt she could crush walnuts just by using a little Honkai energy.
Jun An wasn't exaggerating. Back when she was human, she often used this trick to make Jun An surrender his weapon, forcibly collecting the public grain. It was only because Jun An had the robust physique provided by the System's basic stats that he survived. Otherwise, before being drained dry, Jun An would have had to worry about how to protect his great treasure sword, because Theresa could genuinely snap an ordinary man's 'thing'.
After one round, Jun An was about to start over from the beginning, going through the red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple sequence again, but the seven Little Vitas gathered together and started discussing something.
Jun An watched the Little Vitas clustering, then shuffling around like a flock of lambs changing places. After just a moment, Jun An couldn't tell who was who anymore. Previously, Jun An could distinguish them by their clothes, and just now by their left-to-right queue order and gut feeling about the Little Vitas. Now that they were mixed up, without any identifying marks on them, Jun An genuinely couldn't differentiate them.
At best, he could barely tell that Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green had shoulder-length short hair, while Cyan, Blue, and Purple had shorter hair more typical for boys (which was one reason Jun An initially thought they were boys). Beyond that, Jun An was lost.
However, the seven Little Vitas seemed able to distinguish each other perfectly. When Jun An had been confused before, they had always managed to communicate flawlessly.
The seven Little Vitas seemed to notice Jun An's bewilderment, all looking at him smugly, faces full of mischief.
One Vita said, "Brother Captain, let's play a game."
"A game?" Jun An could already guess what was coming.
Another Vita explained, "You lie down, and you can't look. You can only guess by feel. If you guess right, the price increases by one day. If you're wrong, Brother Captain has to grant that person a wish!"
Yet another Vita added, "Don't worry, we won't ask for anything too outrageous. We just want you to keep helping everyone in Froth..."
"Alright, I accept."
After all, he wasn't dealing with Vita, but with seven little city agents. Jun An naturally wouldn't be as guarded with them as he was with Vita. Besides, what bad intentions could little agents possibly have?
