Even though the tacos slapped and filled the void in my stomach, they did not however fill the void in my heart. Bucky had made it up to me plenty and I found myself laughing most of the time whilst we had dinner but… I kept on overthinking.
What if I had ruined things between us? Maybe he was just being kind because we were already together and didn't want to be rude. However as soon as he would drop me off he would be gone and I wouldn't hear from him anytime soon.
I wouldn't blame him. Why didn't I think I had ice cream on my lips? It's just who pointed at their lips looking like him and didn't think a person wouldn't kiss him? His lip ring… I couldn't even describe how his lip ring felt against my lips.
