Amanda beamed with happiness when she heard what Aaron said.
" Really? " she asked
Aaron nodded;
" I will stay with you till you sleep. No need to sleep here."
Amanda's eyes darkened. He wasn't going to allow her to sleep with him on his bed?
" I can sleep here, Aaron. This won't be the first. Remember, we used to sleep on the same bed years ago." Amanda exclaimed.
Aaron's jaw clenched tightly.
" Are you listening to yourself? It was years ago. Mina isn't going to like the idea."
" Then don't tell her," Amanda yelled.
She brushed her hand on her loose hair. She took a deep breath and released it.
She tried to calm herself but the look on Aaron's face was annoying her.
"Can't you forget about her, Aaron? I am here. I am back. She was just your plaything, Aaron. But I'm not. I'm your fiancée."
Amanda said, trying to reason with him.
She moved towards him, swaying her hips from left to right.
She slid the strip off her shoulder.
" What are you doing Amanda?" Aaron frowned
Amanda places her forefinger on his lips, a gesture to keep him quiet.
"I'm trying to make you forget about her, baby," she said in a hoarse voice
Before she could wrap her hands around his neck, Aaron pushed her away from him. Amanda stumbled and fell beside the bed.
" Is this some kind of sick game? How many times do I have to tell you? I have my eyes on someone else and what happened between us was years ago."
Aaron's eyes darkened. He walked towards her at a pace which felt like the devil was crawling on your skin. With his hands in his pockets, he leaned towards her. He lifted her chin making her face inch away from his.
" Read my damn lips, Amanda. What we had years ago, doesn't count now. Mina is not my plaything and you are no more my fiancée. I can forget about our years of friendship and throw you out of this room and house. Do you understand?"
He increased the force on her chin making her hiss in pain. Tears streamed down her face.
Aaron took a step back from her, he wiped his hand. He acted like he had held something disgusting. That only infuriated the anger which was brewing inside of her.
" Out! And I don't want to repeat myself. " He commanded
Aaron turned his gaze away from her, he only heard the slamming of the door.
" Maybe Naarah was right. Something is wrong with her," he whispered to himself.
He massaged his temples trying to ease the tension in his head.
He took his phone trying to call Mina, but he paused.
What was he going to say? He had to find a way to deal with Amanda.
He tightened his hand around his phone when he remembered what Amanda said.
Somehow she was right. Mina was just a plaything to him but now he wants more from her. They are going to be parents soon and all these were happening. He promised himself to be a better person for both her and their baby and yet still he was betraying her.
